He was my friend.. even though I never met him.. his songs have been my favourites for close to two years.. I never got tired of them.. but I can't even play them right now because they remind me of the obvious.. I literally lost hold of myself on the 22nd of December, when I first learnt of the your demise.. even the week after was miserable for me.. I was really broken. To know that the perpetrators have not been brought to books is even more disheartening.. but even if they are found and prosecuted will it bring you back.. omg.. so I will never get to know how many more of those lovely song pieces you will produce huh It is well indeed.. rest on my friend. OmaniPadmeHum:
The Snowlike stuff is just Chemical Foam applied to blanket the spilled petroleum product.

It will reduce the risk of having an explosive atmosphere forming from the spill.

It will also discourage people from trying to scoop the Product.

Good combat strategy. Now do containment and recovery of that mess you made. Afterwards clean up. Don't forget to carry out a thorough investigation regarding what happened and that what lessons we can learn to avert such in future.. (For Nigeria? grin grin grin grin cheesy)

Also, the fire emergency response team is from Eni's NAOC fire fighting team. It is AGIP's fire fighting team. Not State or whatever. As a matte of fact, in River State it is usually the fire fighting team of oil companies that are called in such emergencies.
Respect!! You sabi something... I like to listen to people of your kind.

Frank Olize was an NTA News correspondent. He became very famous in 1983 when he went out on the streets to ask people, "geria had an economic crisis which started in 1982 and people were always referring to "the common man", "Can the common man afford this?", etc, so he went on the streets to ask people, who is this common man that everybody is talking about ).

He also did similar hilarious interviews on the streets and he became known for that.

In the early 1990s, he took over as host of Newsline. Newsline had started c1988 with Yinka Craig and Patrick Oke as hosts.

He left Newsline in the late 1990s or early 2000s and started Tuesday Night Live (Abike Dabiri took over as host of Newsline) and that was the last show that he presented on the NTA.
Thank you so much for this.. quite educating. I didn't know the " Who is the common man" part because I wasn't born then.. infact, I have never heard of it. But I usually watched newsline with my parents in the 1990s as a child. I also remember Yinka Craig, Abike Dabiri, Patrick Oke... and there was Ruth Benemesah Opia... there was also Sola or Sele Eradiri or so.. (maybe this is a more recent presenter..not too sure cos I no longer watch NTA... I will have to start watching newsline at least)

Isn't that "Papiluwe" or something like that?? That Lagos na wa movie??

jantavanta:
I doubt if anybody has uploaded it. It will be in NTA archives in U-matic format.

Who remembers another comedian Aluwe?

Really? Forgive me Jare.. the names just plenty..Thanks. But how about that Frank Oliseh (a name of that sort) that was a newscaster then.. I think he featured mostly in NTA newsline.
naptu2:
grin You also made the same mistake that she made. All the people she mentioned, including Gringory and Clarus, are actually from the New Masquerade.

Jagua my belle oh, my head oh.. Kaza dey garri.. After the Kaza episode I started looking forward to eating soaked garri with chicken.. Jagua also had a funny way of eating rice with bare hands.. his popular phrase was "Shege jagua"

This brings back lots of memories.. I was very small then.. can't remember the storyline but I remember the feeling.. coupled with those of Wili Wili (this made me get scared of darkness and shadows) tales by moonlight, mirror in the sun, village headmaster (giringory, ovuloria, clarus, jegede and zebrudaya).. good old days.. I am all grown up now.

Hello Pamdaniel.. cudos for the nice job you are doing here.. I'm really interested in this farming method.. I reside in Port Harcourt and I'm considering leasing a piece of land for this purpose.. pls I have a few questions.. (1) how much capital do I need to start something small? (2) What are the factors I need to consider when choosing the area of land? (3) what other crops can I combine with Cocumber using this method? (4) Do you think I can conbine this method of farming with my regular job?? Please I need all the advice.. I'm not an agriculturist nor an Agric student.. just want to try my hands on farming.. I've always loved it.

pamdaniel:
what are the advantages of sack farming? 1) saving space 2) maximizing the potentials of land 3) u can even farm on roof tops sofar you are exposed to sun 3) retaining manure and avoid soil leaching 4) retain water etc... having known this I would know that cement bags are the best becos they are not that porous! they can retain more water for a longer time so you would not need watering on a regular basis... to our main matter, the standard measurement of land in Nigeria is 50ft×100ft. we are going to make use of a quarter plot for this experiment.

The rate of guys speaking for this chop and clean mouth thing is alarming... Sex is now so cheap that people can gloat about it in public.. na wa oh.. and some ladies are busy advocating for it too.. little wonder most ladies jump from bed to bed... Abstinence is the best, say no to chop and clean mouth.

Na wa oh, do you guys pay her to write this story? Someone please explain to me, I must have missed something. Is it no longer freewill writing? For crying out loud she's a human like every one of us, thus she has things to do. It won't be a crime either, if she comes out to say she can't complete this story.. she has done enough allready. You, the ready can as well pick one of those previous posts as your happy or sad ending, and let writer and her story be. Some of the comments are really demeaning and frustrating. Infact, I'm beginning to think some of these persons putting up these comments have some sort of or page that survives on such stories. Treat your fever and let flakky be.

She will be graduating next year with ND in environmental health science.

The MPH field Epidemiology is open to qualified graduates from natural sciences and para medical, and not restricted to medical graduates as you claim.
Rather it is clinical epidemiology that is reserved for trained doctors/medical personnel.
Hello Etinosajay, please I have a friend who did environmental science at School of health, and now she wants to proceed for Public health. Please what route would you advice her to take? she intends to take Jamb and probably do a science course, then go for MPH later..
