I am sure you believe in the story of the devil being an angel of God in the beginning when all things where perfect. No seen, no devil. Just God and his angels.

Let me ask you, if things were perfect in heaven in the beginning how come satan tot of something evil?
How come satan started a war in heaven?
How come satan wanted to overthrow God?
Where did such evil tot come from when there was no devil then (after all he was a good angel then)

About 9 years ago. I was fasting and i try to pray every 2 hours at most and read the bible for at least 3hours when ever i fast. Around 12:30pm i was thru praying and i decided to sleep a bit cos i was feeling a bit tied. Do you know that i felt something strange after abt 15 mins and i woke up, on the wall facing my bed was a man. I was scared to death. Then he vanished.

I have had several such experiences as a christain.

Now i realize they aint true at all.

Our consistent prayers and strong belief in the spiritual, in the enemies that we cant see, conditions our minds and can help our senses create the illusions of this things even to the perceptible state.

It is the same way our body produces goose bumps to emphasis our fear.

You will notice that you strongly believe in demons and you seem to want to deal with them, by taking charge. Your obsession with the demonic had prepared your mind and enabled the hallucination.

Notice that this mind obsession can make you look at a wall gecko and if the wall gecko or lizard seems to be looking back at you and behaving in a creepy manner, your mind will start associating the ordinary gecko to demons or witches.

Notice mountain of fire members, they suspect any animal or person that fits their description of demons or witches.

My dad was always scared of old women in our home town, my mum is scared of geckos and birds, she thinks they are demonic.

I totally believe you. You saw that old woman cos you believe demons are all over you. You've gained confidence that Jesus has given you victory over them but you will continue to see them in your dreams and real life (hallucinatic illusion), you will keep casting them from everything around you. Truth is those doing charms are only wasting their time. it's never real. I've witnessed a ritualist reinforce a boy with charms saying he cld not be stabbed. When the babalawo did the testing to prove the charm worked, i noticed he had a technique he was using in stabbing the boy.

There was a tailor along challenge in ibadan where my choir master used to live (he told us this story himself) the tailor is his tailor and one day this baba put a charm on his neck and was demonstrating to people how knive cant cut him. A teenager in the crowd took a cutlass that the yeye tailor brought and struck the man on the hand, very sharp cutlaSs.

You can guess what happened. Today the man has only one hand.

I have friends that have told be about area boys with charms that never worked.

Have you seen any blood money before? Go and do the charm and see if it works, you will be shocked.

Those charms only make the desperate gain confidence to perpetrate crimes that makes them get money.

If moses only perfected the idea of God to keep the isrealites in line, then how was he able to perform the miracles that he did then (parting the red sea amongst others)? I am writing this under the assumption that you believe the biblical account of moses' life.

That is my own problem with Atheists...they don't believe in anything spritual but dont really have any explanation for things that aren't clearly normal.
For example if you have a Christian with the gift of prophesy, if the said Christian prophesies specifically something that would happen in the future about someone and it happens, the atheist will tell you there is no God yet won't come up with any rational plausible explanation as to how the prophesy came to pass.

Moses performed no miracles.
No supporting evidence to show moses did any miracles. These are as good as legends. Even kim jung il of North korea has legends that says he has supernatural powers. Hirohito who was emperor of japan during wwII is generally believed to be a god in japan capable of miraculous feats. Rastafarians worship haile salassie as god and believe he can do all god can do. These are men in our age, how much more moses in a time when people believed in legends and manipulate historic accounts so they can amuse their children and grandchildren.

I have friends the argue that even rap, rock, hip hop are creations of the devil, even tho i tried all my best to let them see these are just plain creations of the human mind. Is it these same people that will watch the "afterlife is meaningless without afterlife" and understand?

Very few will understand it.

By the way, do you know many christains/muslims are actually skeptical about the existence of God, but wont reason it out cos they are afraid. They ask "what if"

The last resort is always, "what if you die and find out that what the bible says is all true, so let us just comply even if it is ridiculous"

Why we dont ask why
Simple

FEAR!

Church teaches, that without faith no one can please God. Right?

Truth is without fear there wont be religion. YES.

We avoid a lot of reasonable questions we shld be asking God or his reps (pastors, imams and the rest), but we dont because we are afraid of questioning God.

I take a serious look at my life all the fasting and prayers. Then when good things happen i credit it to God. For real has he done anything for me or i am just carried away in the euphoria of religion around me that credits all good things to God?

I recall praying for a friend with kidney failure all night. We were 3. We stayed up all night praying, yet the young lad died. I can go on and on with examples.

In the second video, a derailed train was mentioned, 17 people died and on little baby boy survived. Christains started celebrating the miracle of the baby that survived and pushed back the fact that 17 souls were lost.

*where the 17 dead worthless? (Tot God is love)
*you know of that 17 dead were bread winners whose family will suffer from their deaths.

This happens today in many churches where people come to give testimony and say they survived an accident that claimed many lives. So selfish!

Just watched the second video.

I think christains and muslims should watch them too. There is no harm in being opened to reason. These are just videos to question the status quo, if you can answer the basic questions raised by the videos, then your faith becomes stronger (tho i doubt it)

Seun you MUST watch the movie "Fault In Our Stars".

I can NEVER delete it from my pc. One of the best movies ever (for me). It is not about religion, it is just plain about life. And if you are like me and you question reasons behind events, then you will naturally ask "God why?" Because the tragedy is so real and many are in such situations.


I have come to realize that God is not coming to help anyone out of any misery.
