I'm an engineering student who is interested in doing my internship(Industrial Training) in India for the purpose of doing some certifications there.

Royalty1: There are some basic facts you need to get straight.
1. Is your Big brother getting paid for the job?

2. If yes, then charge him accordingly. Find out what the charge is around town and you may then give him a little discount.

3. If this is your Job, then don't shortchange yourself. Your pricing should be made up of payment for your time, and a little amount for your equipments. Always charge for your equipments like it was rented. That is the difference between a professional and the guy who would just do free jobs and will never be able to afford decent equipments.

4. Since you are doing it for a Church, you may also deciede to do it for free, if you believe such a move will release heavenly blessings upon you.
