Dear Dr. Nelson, please when you get to the world beyond, tell Herbert Malculay that the party he founded has been turned to People Destroying Party. Tell Obafemi Awolowo that we now pay school fees without going †ø school. Help me tell Nnamdi Azikiwe that the long wall to democracy he built has fallen, only the cracked fence still stands. Tell Chief Anthony Enaharo that the independent nation he fought for is no more. Tell Alh. Shehu Shagari that boko haram has destroyed his reason for creating NYSC as no one goes to the north any longer. Tell Alh. Ahmadu Bello that our judicial system now favors only the rich. Also tell Baba Fela that Terry G is the new afro beat king. Tell Muritala Mohammed that we still use kerosene to cook and candles to see. Tell King Jaja of Opobo that we are still slaves in our own country. Tell Prof. Iyayi that Federal Govt paid N200 Billion into ASUU account but we never see alert.
Pls tell Saro Wiwa that his south south youths are still
jobless and cashless, tell Dele Giwa that the Nigerian
press has been bought with money. Tell them that we need a quick reply to this letter.

WISDOM OF MADMEN

A senior friend of mine, Alex ***** told me a story of an encounter his family had with a madman. They were on a journey, and their car developed a fault. The family alighted and noticed that the nuts holding one of the tires had all come off and the tire was no longer in place. After contemplating what to do for a long time without coming up with a solution, they tred to flag down other cars.
A madman who was walking past, stopped and told them bluntly that they were wasting time there and the solution was very easy. " Just take one nut each from the three tires and put it to the fourth tire since there are four nuts holding a tire, and all the tires would have three nuts each " the mad man said. They were all shocked at this comming from a madman who everyone feels won't have anything sensible to say.



Last week, my Dad told us a story, about a very rich man who was a billonarie, having three wives and plenty children. This man had lots of landed property, investments in transport sector, and was in every sense succesful.
Recently, he died and his children organised an elaborate burial for their Papa. During the ceremony, a popular madman in the village came by, and said " this grave you people dug for ths man is too small. Don't you know that the grave can't contain the man and all his property? Where he is going to, he would be lonely so he would need his wives and children,where would he stay when you did not put his house in the grave too?"
This poionts out to us that wealth, properties and anything accumulated would all be left when a person is dead and they would become another persons own on earth. It all amounts to vanity and as the Preacher said in Ecclestatics, Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity.
It's futile accumulating wealth that would be left behind for others who know nothing about it to inherit.

So, in all you do, live peaceably with all men, try to help the needy around you with your wealth and leave a impactful imprint on the sands of time.
