Dear Nigerians, i am saddened today, not alone by the sad plane crash that happened today which is not least by a long shot, but i am saddened by the government we have an ineffective government if ever there was one, this is an age where we have a government that has raped us in daylight and in full view of the whole world, Nigerians i believe that in order to regain your dignity, you cannot go down without a fight, many Nigerians have lost their lives at the hands of this repressive and clueless government, instead of addressing the boko haram issue, they will rather spend billions on independence day celebrations that flop, instead of addressing the issues of aviation, they are changing names of universities. Nigerians, died in the sosoliso crash, a repeat has happened today, rescuers where not on deck. all the legislature has done within that period is to legislate against gay rights... indeed clueless... Nigerians, if you do not start taking action today, the great Nigeria you speak of will only just be that, a page in a mirage... Mitchell.

Politics › Re: 79.6% Students Fails Again In Waec Exams by mitchella1: 6:49am On Jan 13, 2011
I personally do not blame the students, but i blame the education system of the country, i wrote the same waec examinations this year, and i did well, i had only one credit and the rest fell in the category of B's and A's but, we realize that most people who wrote this exam did not have a private school experience in their secondary schools and public schools always have irrelevant breaks due to their strike actions. also, most of the people were from the public schools, and a huge number of them are too poor to afford blackberries and dstv, so i go against the school of thought that such are the distractions to blame because in the more civilized countries, they have this things but do not complain of woeful results. Furthermore, the economy of the country is such that when most of this students are done with school everyday, they have to go and help out in bringing funds to the family, hence they hawk items and do other menial jobs. by the time they are done with this, they normally have no time to study, or they are too tired to, so these i believe are the issues and not the narrow minded comments i have been seeing on this thread.

I have always been a t.m.lewin shirt freak, and it was always a burden going as far as ikoyi to get my t.m. shirts so it came as a surprise to me when i went to the shopping complex at ikota and found a t.m.lewin shop, there are actually so many of them and i have an eagle eye for spotting out fake shirts and i was impressed with the t.m. shop as all their stuffs were original

the shop is located at shop C166, ikota shopping complex, V.G.C. Ajah, Lagos

You definitly will be doing yourself a favour if you stop by.

Politics › Re: Death Penalty For Exam Malpractices In Nigeria? - Satire by mitchella1: 12:44pm On Jun 09, 2010
i think the present punishments for examination malpractice in the nation which is all but non-existent is too conservative but the death penalty too radical. i just finished my waec examinations and i found it very good but it came as a shock seeing a lot of my mates using text message dobbs as well as sneaking key-points into the hall, this is awful for our education system and this to me is the sole reason y most of nigerias graduates are not employable because their degrees are a fraud in the sense that they cheated thru skewl, now some ignorant pple come and say that everybody cheats but i beg to differ if you find it impossible to write an examination without cheating dont generalise it as i am sure that many people dont face that same problem u cant generalize it, if we dont curb this problem now, we are going to hav a new generation of armed robbers, bad leaders and all what nots, the power lies in your hands, lipsrsealed
