I dont know if this is the right platform to post this. Pls house, am applying for US visa, I booked appointment using the ds -160 confirmation number am filling online and got appointment confirmation but I havent submitted the form yet. I plan to submit it soonest. Am aware both the appointment confirmation and ds-160 are supposed to have same confirmation number, but someone just said she was sent back because they said she booked appointment before submission of form which she said its not true. I guess her case should be from the recent system fault. Pls anybody with recent experience should help me ooo am already scared .

Hello good morning all... I have a serious issue at hand and I need help. Before I travelled,we agreed (me and hubby) that we should apply for visa for the Kidz when I'm back since this wasn't holiday trip. Now few weeks to hubby's interview, he wants the kids to come as well.
Now the question is, 1) is it possible to apply for the kids and get the same date and time for them?
2)Do I need to cancel his own application and start a fresh application with the children included?
3) will they be granted visa base on the fact that they are coming to be with me during childbirth?
I think you have to cancel his appointment and rebook for all of them but you have to be sure the dates available is still ok for you. I dont know about your number (3) you can just try your luck

Getting furnished apartments is a chore and a costly venture, i searched and searched and finally gave up. I am renting an unfurnished apartment, would rent furniture or buy at salvation army/Goodwill and see how it goes. I am sharing a 2-bed with a friend so our individual cost would be around 1200 per month plus rented furniture and other utilities.

You can check with me sometime next month to know what my experience is like. I am due to travel at the end of the month.
thanks will pm you

did you say 14th july or 14 august. You can choose to use same hospital or change it if you wish. I dont think it really matters. The fact is that you will be interviewed by another VO who will look at your case differently and will give you your visa asap. I really need to behold that blackVO's face grin

@ xyzabcuo. Pls reapply asap and try and book appointment as soon as possible cos the last tym I checked, the next available date was 6th august and you said you ll be due by September.

Yep! Aug/sept is when the "fruits" from the "seeds" that were sown in the harmattan months of dec-Jan ripen & "drop".. wink

Inversely its why there are lots of Mar/April mums and babies as well. Heavy rains in the june/july months.
grin . Thats the season for "weather for 2" but you guys are supposed to be giving us twins or triplets if thats the case shocked

There's night snack available as well grin, if u feel hungry after d 5pm dinner time. There is also a campish bed for your companion(if you have one) and everything you'll need while @ the hospital is provided.

I had a pleasant experience at North West Houston Medical Center. I used Dr Xydas and his team(you'll likely meet different Drs on your appointment days, depending on who is on call. I was attended to by a total of 4 Drs).
I hope this helps. Thanks
congrats on the birth of your baby and thanks for sharing your experience with Us cos I ve been patiently waiting for people that used and will soon use them to come and share their experiences. Pls , also give us the breakdown of all cost incured both from doctor to hospital to pediatrician etal. Do they have private recovery rooms for every mum that just gave birth or U have to share with others? Sorry for my plenty questions. I just need to be cleared cos not so many people have used them and am just hearing we have to meet different doctors rather than dealing with just one doctor. Thanks
