Are there island-based mamas here interested in buying first grade ok clothes for their babies?
The woman i got some of Hansel's clothes from is opening a new bale this morning at my hospital. For those who said i didn't tell them the last time, i'm sharing the info now o.
I got about 50 pieces of jean, tops and sleepsuits for just 15k the last time, based on i know her. I pray i dont see anything that will enter my eye today. Money don finish

I was telling my doc this at ANC and he said from what they've seen at their hospital its those with small breast that even lactate on time and produce enough milk compared to those with big bubie.

My bp is finally dropping. Its now 130/90. Thanks to all mamas here for the tips and suggestions. This was my first time dealing with high bp since i've been born. I pray it doesn't happen again.

Hello mamas, abeg how braxton hicks dey be? As in symptoms and all. I don't think I experienced it in my first pregnancy. My stomach would just tighten and my baby would just push her buttocks out. And I also have this thing like electric shock in my jajaina that comes and goes. My waist also hurts when this happens. My EDD is July ending that's why I am kind of confused if it's braxton hicks or not. Anyone else feeling this way? I intend going out to run a scan.

Exactly what mum zaynie said. Your stomach becomes tight and hard and sometimes it'll take on a very awkward shape. After some seconds, it relaxes and goes back to normal.
But sometimes you can easily think ure having braxton hicks when its actually real contractions. So whenever you're confused, get checked to be sure your cervix is not dilating already.
Your own just started? Ure fortunate o. Mine started three weeks back and since last week its been almost regular.

I find it hard to sleep inside a mosquito net, I always feel as if I'm choking whenever I'm sleeping with it and when I wake up I always v burning skin. I spread it outside for one week self before using it. Is there any other alternative apart from mosquito nets for prevention of malaria, my dd don't like sleeping inside her cot again, she prefers sleeping beside me. As I'm even typing this my face is on fire, I just removed the mosquito net and spread it outside again.
Sorry for the long story but please help a sister.

The mosquito net you have is the chemically treated one. When i use it, my whole body itches me and it feels as if they poured pepper in my eyes. So i switched to the untreated one. You can also try washing it to see if it'll calm down.
The treated one is supposed to be the best but some people's skin cant stand it.

I bless God for your life and your baby. This advice here is very apt. I was told that from 36wks, you are to scan weekly till delivery. It was my 37wk scan that showed reduced amniotic fluid and my doctor quickly induced me. In fact when he burst my water there was little liquid there and I was already 2cm dilated without any labour pains. This is why we all need to pray and declare for the right medical personnel to aid us during delivery.

In all we serve an awesome GOD! he is worthy of praise. Congratulations again.

Thank you so much Enkaydewdrop for finally sharing the BS with mamas here on this thread. There were so many things to learn from your story. When you told me, i kept narrating to dh a million times.
Its always wise for us to follow our instincts when it comes to pregnancy. If we feel sth is wrong, let's check. Even if doc assures you all is well, still crosscheck to satisfy your conscience. Its better to go broke because of plenty scans than to save cash and lose your baby.
It's not enough to listen to "don't worry it'll be fine". Every mama's system, body, and labor timetable is different, so let's not compare or think there is a normal way labor should begin. I'm just a FTM but i learn a lot from people's birth stories and experiences.
For those mamas owing BS, abeg make una share them now, let's learn a thing or two. Biko.

Hansel didnt move all thru yday morning too and i was so scared. But immediately i told dh to take me for a scan, he started shaking his bum bum. Till now he's still active.
But i'll do a scan tmrw just to be sure all is well.

Sometimes it happens, but its good to always monitor your baby's movement pattern and report immediately whenever you notice reduced fetal movement.
Im sure your baby is fine. Stay positive ehn? Nothing dey happen. Every mama here will deliver safely

That's the word he used. When i was telling him about my braxton hicks and cramps, he said he's expecting me to drop soon, so he'll ask the midwives to do a VE to stimulate it. But as he checked my bp and saw that its high, he didnt talk about the VE agaim.

sorry mama for ur bp, had bp issues with my first pregnancy 130/90. the nurses recommended I boil Zobo leaves without sugar, wen I went for my next anc it dropped to 120/70. try it and make sure u take it deligently. speedy recovery to u
