Feeling cool with myself right now, yesterday I washed our bodysuits and sleepsuits (only 0-3months sha).
Phcn was nice to us last night so I used that opportunity to iron everything (plus the flannels and blankets I washed the other week) without stressing the gen. I was so tired and hot by the time I was done but also very happy with myself.

I think the only problem with dettol is people dont know the right quantity to use. Just one drop is enough. But some pour it in too much. That is why to play safe, people just opt for savlon cus its mild.

Its normal for your vaginal discharge to increase as you get closer to your due date. When its tinged with blood, then its probably your mucous plug.

As for the heaviness, it shows your baby is ready to pop out. Which is good.

1. I have an Avent manual pump and it works fine..but you might want to get an electric pump if you're going to pump often.
2. As soon as your comfortable and can sit up without any discomfort and your stitches have healed.
3. Babies can travel as early as two weeks old.
4. By carrier do you mean the baby carrier or a car seat. Anyway you'll be carrying you baby on your lap except you plan on purchasing a seat for him, you'll have to use a car seat.
A carrier to use around the airport is fine and no specifications.

Thanks for checking up on me sweetie, it hasn't been well at all. I had episiotomy and it broke down. I didn't know, I have been in severe pains.
I can't sit, sleep, walk, eat, carry my ds, I've lost weight. The pain is from hell mehn!
I've gone back to see d gynae, he had to remove d stitches. The wound is so wide and deep. I'm doing sitz bath with warm water and salt. Dh said d wound is healing. I'm supposed to be going for dressing every 2 days but no one to leave my baby for. Dh can't handle him and mum goes to work.

Ouch! So sorry teamie. Let your mum show dh how to handle him now.
You need to be fine for your baby. You cant be going through all those pains and still looking after your baby.
Pls let dh learn how to handle him in your absence so you can go for the dressing.

- What brand of breast pump do you recommend? The one that wont hurt my nipples. I'm thinking of getting Tomme Tippee manual pump. I want sth not more than 9k. If there is anyone way cheaper and effective, the better for me.

- How soon can someone travel by air locally after a c-section? And how soon i can travel by air locally with baby?

- If i'm travelling with baby by air, do i need to carrier? Anyone has any idea what kind of carrier is approved?

Seperate them now. I didnt wash my baby's new clothes same way i watched the okrika own. So i dont put them together.
The new clothes, i watched them lightly cus some can easily fade. While the okrika own, i washed them multiple times to erase the odor and because they rarely fade and can withstand multiple washing.

Even tho the external stitch has healed, the cut inside might still be fresh.

Just allow your body to heal first. If you're on EBF, it will even start reducing naturally. Other mamas with experience can shed more light...

My dear, i stood outside. When they even brought him out, he was sleeping. It was mum that carried him till we got home. Immediately we got home, he started screaming his lungs out. Thank God ders always brezz to comfort him.

As for the postpartum belt, i think its safe to wait for at least 6weeks.

Bt thank God it ended in praise at last and my prince weight was 3.4.

Na Lamide face dey give me sleepless night o. Zaynie that ur palm oil plus sugar worked like magic. For the first time mumsy agreed that my online friends know better thing. Abeg Na this Lamide face be issue now. It's also on her back and chest. I've used ori, coconut oil, agbo sef to bath her, sabi mamas come to my aid.

A friend told me she used Calendula oil. She bought it from namaste organics and it cleared her baby's skin.
