The playbook is actually the blackberry version of tablet, it is cheaper not because it is bad but because of bad reviews and limited applications. Things have since changed. You can get it for less than 50k,it's built to specially link with the blackberry phone, infact it is the extension of your bb phone in tablet format,with bigger screen. You can bridge, you can tether and you can use wifi, bridge is at no extra cost.

The unlimited offerings are by MTN and Etisalat for 1500 per month. With your phone you will be limited in what you can do on small screen. But with the playbook you are let loose. Glo offers 3gig and Zain gives 1gig these are the ones you can exhaust.

Some tweak can even enable you to enjoy your unlimited subscriptions on the computer. Good luck. Like I said if you like to use lots of data then bb is it. Goody luck

This is because when you subscribe to the complete bis of 1400, they give you 1gig of data to use, and you can access this data as you would normal bundle of internet with their code for normal internet i.e *123*10# That means you are as good as having 1gig of data, and you can do as you wish with the data. You can tether, you can use it as hotspot, or you can put it in a router it will work all the same. don't forget, the apn is the normal airtel apn for data i.e 'internet.ng.zain.com' username is 'internet' psswrd is 'internet'with that you are good to to go.

With BB, Data is one area no other os can beat, the compression is second to none. If you are a data person you will be saving a lot. Communication is another advantage, mails, and chatting comes with unparalleled ease. With 1500 I enjoy unlimited data for the entire month thanks to the various bb complete offerings,and I don't do less than 5-10gig every month. The bb Rocks. With my blackberry playbook on 2.0 surfing and video becomes extreme fun at no xtra cost. I actually sold my jailbroken Ipad cos I discover I can do virtually anything with the bridge on PlayBook and I can load all android apps too. Just know your gadgets and you will be able to maximize its potential. Good luck

Yes hotspot is allowed by all networks in naija once u purchase a data bundle.

If you are on os 7.1 then just buy a data bundle and activate the hotspot, you are good to go on wifi. Just be sure you plug your fone to light.

Same thing with me. What I did was to register a new MTN line for the BB and stop using it to make calls. I put my primary sim in another set and continue. They said I have to differentiate bw blackberry sites and wap sites and avoid the latter. I couldn do that thus my radical solution.

Or you buy Internet bundle e. g. You buy like 200mb of N1300. That way your credit will not be touched, instead your Internet bundle will be used anytime you browse Wap sites.

That 9780 na shyte phone. Battery does not last, network comes and goes and the phone is always hanging. U av to keep doing a battery pull.

Common, go check what's wrong with your phone. 9780 is a very good phone and the battery is one of the best bb battery. I used and enjoyed it, I have a backup battery cos I use it a lot. Honestly I have no reason to complain.

Presently av upgraded to 9790 with o's 7.1,I must say apart from the battery (which is the best in the class of os7) It is a lovely piece. Bb's battery can not last, it is always on and at work.
