One more discovery, before now I used to refer to my area as Ilupeju, but now I am made to discover it is actually Palmgrove. How on earth!!!

I have always made the mistake of not knowing my postcode just like several people. Some say it is 23401 for lagos others even say its 23419 (lol) in fact most of the time i just write 11111 when I fill forms. Anyway all that has ended in that there is a site where you can look up your neighbourhood postcode for the entire nation. Look it up and lets know whats urs. Mine is 100252 (Palmgrove, Lagos)

I just hear that come January Star tv will be transmitting on DSTV MOBILE too. That will be soo cool since it will give us a choice of package different from what MTN is presently offering. Am looking forward to it especially if they will not restrict watching it via tv like mtn did. DSTV mobile actually rocks, Details are still sketchy on the modus operandi however. Maybe they will be linking to nokia too or prob to chinko(lol) for transmission. Any detail will be welcomed.

I just noticed it too. They wrongly numbered them, the last channel was 50. From number 27 they went to 41. Maybe its chinko style of numbering

Scan very well in fact there is now 50 channels in all and they are all working fine.

Heloo peeps, I got my gtb naira master card recently, what I read in the information package lifted my spirit, the card promised to deliver the world, that I can buy and pay for goods in more than 200 countries, including the internet.

To my chagrin however I have tried to use it online severally since then with no success, I used to carry the dollar denominated gtb mastercard, my  experience was so unpleasant that I had to drop the card outrightly.

Now my beef is this, why lift peeps spirit when you know you cannot deliver? Is there anyone who has successfully use the card for other than ATM withdrwals? Is master card generally a nuisance? and lastly Let those who use VISACARD TELL US  if it is any better.

I have always been using Nokia phones all ma life and i am currently using the Nokia E72 but just got the BB 9700 3days ago and i must confess that the BB is far better than the E72,i still have both try BB 9700 with a 24/7 internet u wont be disappointed

But can u use your BB with DSTV MOBILE? I guess not. I use my E72 for that and more,

Formal Launch of the Star TV with NTA is taking place soon. Infact by the time full digital transmission starts in Naija, the normal analogue TV will not be able to receive stations without some form of Adapter/Decorder.

How soon is the soon? and are you saying there will be no free terrestrial channels anymore? I doubt that. Besides what is happening to the e-star in Lagos, Ave stopped subscribing untill the estar thing is added.
