Cultivation of crop commenced with a selection of site in agroecological zones that are suitable for the commercial production. There are two species of coffee that can be cultivated in Nigeria. Upland coffee also known as Arabica coffee is suitable for alocation where the altitutude is above 800 m above sea level. In a case like this Jos, Obudu and Mambilla plateau is suitable or any other area where the altitude is within that range. We also have a lowland coffee, also known as robusta coffee. This species can be commercially cultivated in lowland region, mostly in all the places, cocoa plantation can thrive. same edaphic (soil) and climatic requirement. you can contact us at Bethel seedlings at 08139303199. Nigeria is the 6th largest producer of cashew in the world after India, Brazil, Vietnam, Guinea Bissau and Tanzania. Like most African producers, most of Nigeria’s production are exported in raw form to India and Vietnam for processing and export with added value and benefits to those economies. Vietnam, for example entered the field of cashew production for export in the early 80’s about the same time Nigerians became aware of the commercial significance of cashew. Factors to consider before cultivating cashew in Nigeria includes land, choice of variety, time of planting, seed rate, seed dressing, spacing and other agricultural practice. |

Politics / Revelation Of Lagoon Story by mkeji1: 9:08am On Apr 10, 2015 |
PDP really want to play dirty with their candidate on how Oba Akiolu's chat with friends is taking out of concept. I wonder when chat with friends would be taken as an official declaration from the King. ‘Oba Akiolu’s statement was jocularly to his Igbo friends’ on April 10, 2015 / in News 3:44 am / Comments By Emma Nnadozie LAGOS—A Lagos-based lawyer and industrialist, Mr Chukwudi Atueyi, yesterday, gave vivid account of what transpired between Igbo leaders and Oba Akiolu of Lagos State which has resulted in controversy. Oba Akinolu The lawyer who regretted the uproar that accompanied the meeting said the Oba’s statement was not directed at the whole Igbos in Lagos but jocularly to his Igbo friends that visited him. According to him; “All the Eze Ndi Igbo honorary in Lagos went to pay HRM solidarity visit on Sunday and I was fortunate to be among those present at the said meeting. What the Oba said was fully and simply directed to only the Igbos present at the meeting who his majesty considers to be very close to him and should understand him well enough. “You know when one talks to his very close friends and subjects, he tends to be very free with them, so he was being very free with those present at the meeting and wanted us to realize how serious and close he takes us and our votes, because he cannot imagine us giving him our words only to turn back and do the very opposite. “He did not force us to the meeting, we were the ones that went to him on solidarity visit, so it would be very evil of us to only go and deceive him there. He only jokingly (at least as it appeared to me then) warned the people present at the meeting who he considers his own people. The said warning that we are supposed to be very conversant with since we have all the “Ëze Ndi Igbo” present there, as that was not the first time we visited him. We are all already aware of the Yoruba culture and understood perfectly what he meant. There was no specific place he referred to all the Igbos in Lagos. “He was only addressing the Igbos with him present there whom he considers his own people and he simply observed his culture which we all quite understood and this explains why there was applause and laughter at the end of his speech. We were expected to, thereafter, talk to our people in civilized manner to convince them and canvass for their votes if we truly believe we are capable of doing so. “The tradition of lagoon water threat was directed only to those present at the meeting as culture demands. Though he appeared serious but we all understood it as a joke, that was why we all applauded him and made fun of it there. “So I suspect serious politics at play here. I wouldn’t know who recorded the speech and decided to play politics with it. It is most unfair to his majesty to be portrayed in this manner and I think I owe it as a duty to speak up before things get out of hand.’’ - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/oba-akiolu-addressed-us-his-igbo-friends/#sthash.zbMfrv2e.dpuf 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: AIT Documentary On Tinubu: Lion Of Bourdillion (Videos) by mkeji1: 12:42pm On Mar 04, 2015 |
The documentary as aired on AIT, reveal why we should say no to corruption in this country irrespective off our political affiliation (Ruling or opposing). How I wish we could have documentaries on all our political class from the presidency to to the local government councilor, then you will realised how wealthy we supposed to be in this country. It is all about a kettle calling pot black, we really need to declare state of emergency against corruption in this country, and the only candidate that have such antecedent to wage the war is General Mohammodu Buhari. He may not eradicate corruption, but he will definitely reduce corruption in the country. His affiliation with Tinubu dynasty does not really matter, but the structure he will put on grounds matters a lot. I know of Obasanjo dealing with Late S.M Afolabi on national id card issue irrespective of their long time friendship and political affiliation. Though, it was believed that he was selective in waging war against corruption, but I need to make it clear that GEJ did not wage any war on corruption be it selective or non- selective.Even amnesty were granted on some indicted corrupt politician during his tenure. THis documentary is one of the main reason to vote GMB in the coming election. SAI BUHARI 1 Like |

The story reminded me of my contribution here on the issue of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and the house committee on finance late last year. To many of you that support blindly and argued against the tide of ocean, you can now realised tht GEJ, have nothing to offer us as a country irrespective of the high prrofile of his economic adviser. Nigeria is doomed with billion of naira / Dollars/ Euros/ Pounds embezzled by some high profile politician in the country in a jobless country with high rate of unemployment. |

obeski13: I laughed when someone said that being a vice president of world bank is just an opportunity which any other nigerian could av occupied.for ur infomation , do u know how many nigerians are working at world bank..d post is not for mediocres..even if d committee agreed on what d chairman said,d way and manner he said it behoves of d position he holds.for crying out loud, there is no where in d world where ministers are sumnoned d way they do in nigeria.in America, committe in d congress send questions to secretary thru electronics, and they respond back thru d same medium.it is only in an important situation that they are invited physically.frm what i saw on TV, it is a clear case of impoliteness, aggression and lack of respect on d part of mr chairman. I know what I mean by saying that it is an opportunity. i work with United nation today seeing a lot of opportunities flying around. It is only those people that get the information that will apply. To put the record straight, I am here today in spite of my poor background, but I thank God for the opportunity. Many people are better than me,but THEY ARE not opportuned!!! Ngozi, came from a rich home, her mum is a professor. those are the opportunities i am talking about.Even the house member committee chairman is an opportunity. 2 Likes |

deletrue: Dumbest you are. Na sound qualifications we go eat? If he is that sound as you have claimed, he is suppossed to be seen and acted as a well coordinated individual. Do you see that in him? Having acquired these multiple qualifications according to you alone and behave like a typical tanker driver who grew up without any formal or informal training or whose actions in the house is likened to street boys is nothing but an agbero. Have you read anything about temperament? if no, from our response i know you share the same temperament with the chairman by addressing me as dumbest. meanwhile everybody is open to his/her opinion, but we don't need to be a pot calling kettle black. |

Malawian: the guy in question is roughly my age. bring your mother let me talk to her the way i want so that you can cheer me on. ode In as much as that she was not abused. You can take your leave is not an abusive word. But if the woman felt that she is old enough to correct someone that is young enough to be her son, then she should face the consequence. As at that time, the chairman is exercising his office as chairman of house committee, so he need to be respected by the woman on his ruling. This reminds me that the so called minister was screened by the house, before taking that office. |

obeski13: Looking at the rude and irresponsible manner mr jibrin spoke to Mrs iweala,it is obvious there is more to it than meet d eyes. imagine a 37 yr old rascal insulting a woman old enough to be his mother..in all areas of life, mrs iweala is far above d rude and impolite boy frm Kano.talking about his CV.it is laughable..yes,he has PhD, but we know how such certificates are given to people of his like...for his certificates frm Havard and london business school.he is not different from other nigerians who will do anything to av certifiticates of those schools, even if it is a 2.-week programme.if that is the way they dont have regard for women where he comes from,he must be told in an unmistakeable terms that u must show respect to people who are older than u are. Age has nothing to do with this. As far as I am concern, does that mean that Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is arguing the ruling of the chairman because she saw him to be younger, not as educated as herself; Respect is reciprocal. I never saw a chairman making a rule with a gavel and renounce it. Even if the rule was made out of mistakes. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala should know better. 1 Like |

I no know book: Her decision not to appear would have been one of many cases of the executive. But I am in the shoe of the chairman of the house. The minister first statement shows that she might not be able to answer all the 50 questions begging for answers on that day. Are we now saying that meeting with minister is an opportunity for the people? From my own view, I sw the minister not ready to answer all of the questions. |

Working at world bank is a priviledge as there are many qualified Nigerian that can work there. It is not about the certificate because getting Harvard certificate tells you how academically sound the chairman could be; but let us do the right things at a time. It is not all about age, tribe, sex, or religion. Do you realised how Ngozi Okonjo Iweala do hold some people to ransom. She has not been able to address arrears from Research Institute of Nigeria, simply because she has no time to attends meeting with the union of the institute. Most ministers have been evasive in when it comes to accountability. |
