Plz does anyone kws the salary structure of these parastatal 1.Nigerian Port Authority (NPA)
2. Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA
3 . National Clearing and Forwarding Agency (NCFA)
4. Nigeria Shippers Council (NSC)
5. Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA)
My cousin works with NIMASA, and after the first three months with them as new intakes undergoing trainings, he was paid almost 3million... he started work with them wit B.Sc in October 2012. He's yearly income is about 8million (including bonuses and allowances) . Don't know his monthly income, but I know its almost 200k.


My roommate in university then, works with Inland waterways. he started work as a B.Sc holder in 2014. According to him, his salary is less than 60k. about 57k.


I don't know that of the rest...

I keep applying for jobs posted here and other places,even the ones I have the experience required and those that states no experience required yet I have not gotten any interview invite. from January to now I will say I have applied for MORE THAN 50 jobs but no invite.it is really troubling me and I can't keep quiet anymore.
Please what exactly do you think I am not doing right? If invites were coming after applying it would have been a different case. help a confused soul.

Quite a lot of you sent me your CVs to help analyse, it's unfortunate that i can't reply all of you, even though i replied some of you through the email you sent me with.

Generally, while going through some of your CVs, i discovered so many errors which as far as i am concerned most of you are not to blame for these errors. Some of these errors are;

1- Use your name as your email. if your name is John Abayomi Toju, you could use johntoju@yahoo.com, or abayomitoju@gmail.com. I discovered that so many of you had emails like sexybeauty4u@gmail.com. Now, if i may ask, does the latter look professional or the applicant is serious? Definitely No.. If you have emails like that, kindly go and open another one using your name. It could be your first name and last name, or your middle name and last name, but make sure your last name is involved..

2- Also, some of you had two email addresses and two telephone numbers on Your CVs... Please, kindly remove one of them and use the ones that are your official emails and main Mobile number.. Make sure the ones you use are the ones that when an employer wants to contact you, he/she would get across at you speedily.

3- Some didn't put references. If you have references, pls put them. During one of my two-day courses in Human Resources, i was surrounded by many recruiters who also came for the course. One particular Recruiter while contributing said that, ''once i am reviewing a cv, after going through the name names, email and past positions, i go straight to references, and when i see anyone with REFERENCES AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST, i just throw that cv away into the trash can''... So you can imagine the little little things people make mistake.


4- I also, discovered, many of you putting your primary school and secondary school on your cv. In 2013, i attended and interview and when the woman saw my cv, she asked me these questions, is you waec result made up of only distinction? which i said no. she further asked me if notable men and women also attended my secondary school, of which i couldnt mention any. She said if my answer is no, let me remove my secondary school on my cv. And you all know that women are very mean during interviews.

5- Those of you with OBJECTIVES, please when writing what you intend to contribute in a firm, also put what you wish to achieve while working in the firm.. for example... ''i want to be identified with a reputable firm where i can contribute meaningfully to the development of the firm and also see myself develop in so so and so areas....
