The man plunged around 10 metres from the top of the wooden structure after it was tilted to one side by those carrying it. Almost immediately, the actor teeters on the cross before falling through mid air. He attempts to grab hold of one of the ropes as he falls, but it was unsuccessful. In a clip, the crowd were heard screaming in horror as they watch the man tumble to the floor. Several onlookers rushed over to his location to help after he fell on the ground. It is believed that the incident took place during the Passion of the Christ celebrations in Guatemala over the weekend. He was quickly attended to and didn’t sustain life threatening injuries.
