Besides, does the FRSC have the constitutional powers to seize an offender’s vehicle indefinitely or to release whenever they like or determine? NO!!! Doing so is tantamount to another overreach by a government agency, a violation of civil rights and abuse of power. If it were in a civilized country, they won’t try this, because you will sue the government and win big money. Only in Nigeria do citizens get maltreated with impunity by government agencies. They just treat the public however they like and behave like gods. |
Heywhizzy:This assertion is very wrong. Do you know that taking one-way on Lagos-Ibadan expressway sometimes is inevitable because of bad roads that are literally death traps for motorists? Also there is the problem of insecurity, where people are forced to take one-way detours or diversions to avoid danger spots that are notorious for bad incidents like robberies, kidnappings etc. So don’t push the blame entirely on motorists who are only trying to survive the hardships of Nigerian roads, rather blame the government for not fulfilling their constitutional obligations of providing good roads that are safe. Do you know how many countless people have died because of the bad roads and insecurity along Lagos-Ogun-Ibadan expressway, and all across the various interstate highways across the country? Also, there’s ongoing construction along the Ogun state expressway that is inflicting serious inconveniences on the motorists, who thereby are forced to ply One-way to ease their suffering on the roads. The ongoing construction is done with little regard to the fact that this is the busiest expressway in the country, because the organization of traffic flow and road space for cars is poor. So don’t blame Nigerians please. The FRSC just want to extort the public, otherwise they should be joining hands to force the federal government to fix the road problems causing people to pass one-way because they are on the field and know exactly what’s happening on ground. To deny this reality means they are 100% hypocrites who hate Nigerian motorists. |

Once upon a time, I use to dislike the Benz G-class series, probably had similar opinion like this guy. Then one day, I had the opportunity to drive the G63 for some hours, and OMG, it was just too magnificent, too sweet to drive, the feel, the handling, the power, the ruggedness, the aura of confidence, the comfort (yes it’s actually very comfortable, don’t let that box shape deceive you) etc, it blew my mind away. I was like no wonder all these very rich men have at least one G-Class in their garage. But no joke, this ride is not for the poor or middle-class, it’s for the wealthy. G65 is the best, the one that sits as King on the G-series mountain. It’s not even very common here because of the price. It’s for the very privilege few. The G63 is it’s loyal deputy, a road beast, ever-rugged, all terrain monster! When you drive a G-class, especially from 2013 model up, you’re not afraid of the road, the road is afraid of you . The G65 Bi-turbo V12 engine is not a joke, don’t even think of nearing it if you don’t have big money. The G65 is a class separator, the one that separates naira millionaire from dollar millionaire. Unless you own or drive one steady, you won’t understand, unless you’re very rich, you’ll be complaining like this guy everyday over maintenance money matter . Just like people who aren’t rich who board economy on planes see flying first class as a waste of money, but the rich guys that fly first class have a different perspective. Until you fly first class, you won’t understand what they understand. G65 is a yes-yes for me. May God give me money, I will surely buy this superlative machine! ![]() |
