No matter what one's age is, what to become in life is an important question for everybody. Even if your concern is for 'today', it is right because today is the starting point for tomorrow. In view of this fact, it is easy to see why helping young people to get a handle on today so that they can pull themselves into the future with regards to finding the appropriate career is an important role that adults can play in the life of the young ones. How the young men and women now in school can be best prepared to cope with the problems they will face ten, twenty or more years from now is a pertinent issue to which a whole chapter of an important book can be devoted.
How the young people of today meet the problems of tomorrow will depend upon the amount of success they achieve in planning for that tomorrow. One does not therefore need to look far before the sheer size of this need begins to stare one in the face.
Brief syntheses of these needs are as follows:
• There is apparent lack of knowledge about work options and career alternatives. New careers are being added every now and then as a result of technological breakthroughs and new inventions. An embarrassing proportion of youths has little or no knowledge of these options and alternatives and must therefore be helped through a systematic plan.
• An enormous cost in time and energy through floundering, hit-or-miss method and indecision are economically and psychologically expensive and should not be allowed to plague any youth any longer.
• The ongoing economic crunch in Nigeria causes many parents to leave home for long period daily in search of their daily bread. Also, more women have parted ways with the full-time housewife tradition in pursuit of a career. Both of these changes in family lifestyles leave very little room for parents to participate adequately in planning their Children's career. the onus for this role has now fallen more squarely on the shoulders of others, including the school counsellor, and they must not fail to take up the challenge.

Can you drive?
Do you have any question?

Funny how people always brag "i made this, or i got that" when they pass, but turn to "they gave me this or they said that" when they fail. Take it easy bro, in retrospect you'll realize where you could have done better. I've attended BAT TMR interview and dozen others before and they're usually fair and on merit. Better luck next time.

@3doursdown, I know what i'm talking about. you have commented based on your own experience with them. You talked about bragging, i am not the type that brags. If you performed well in an interview you will know now, i have also attended series of interview. Thanks anyways

This information is Valid, I have a friend in Kano who has been called up for the interview of the TMR in Abuja yesterday, He was sent an email to come over to Abuja for the interview which was also followed up with a call from one of the HR representative and according to him the interview went well.

Some of us are still waiting to be called up,

. Did he pass the interview and was he called for d assessment centre. I also attended.

just dey enter now from abuja. my experience there shows that those guys have there own people. calling people for interview its just a gimmick. some of us were personally invited by the panels. I wonder if they went tru the other stages. You won't believe it that I didn't make it to the assessment centre. only to be told I wasn't successful. still wondering why,cos I really prepared for the interview and I know i delivered. there was nothing they asked me that I cudnt answer,using practical experience i have in marketing.

I will update u on how it went tomorrow , so tired

The last interview bat sent me in 2012 was by sms then mail but I didnt attend.they cant just send mail cos there high chance of u not opening ur box am suprise they didnt add the driving skills may be the job decription has,change and is just one guy that got invited on nairaland can he past the last mail after the cognitive test he one we all got

I'm scared of doing this. it was a group mail sent to ten of us. besides my email is my user name here so its easy to trace. Hr officers are also on NL. might be sanctioned for doing so.
