Understand the politics of selling players. Coutinho and Dembele will be Barca players - mark my words.

The selling club is only trying to play tit for tat by stalling till the end of the transfer window.

The same clubs boasted a month before Neymar left that Coutinho was £89M and Dembele £75M. Now all of a sudden £100M+ for each player is not enough considering they don't even sell Jerseys like Neymar.

At some point, we are going to have to call their bluff. After all, we know the players have handed in transfer requests and if you have taken your time to watch players that have tendered requests to their clubs, their performances always drop significantly.

So forget all the bravado that both clubs and their presidents are trying to put up. It is all make belief. Their game is just to be petty and wait till the 31st of August - in a ploy to annoy the players involved and Barca.

If that were not so why don't they play both players in their respective teams? Coutinho is DEFINITELY not injured with any back pains and we all know Dembele is deliberately refusing to return to Germany.

Anyways, they would shoot themselves in the foot because they too would not have time to buy players they want to use to replace them. And even when they do, they would still pay through their noses for said players.
