RESPONSE TO MY SO CALLED SUSPENSION
Predictably Speaker Yakubu Dogara ensured I was "suspended" from the House.

I wish to state that the suspension is unfounded as the entire process is flawed. The so called suspension is ridiculous, a non issue and a bunch of nonsense that cannot stand anywhere in the world.

As you are aware the matter is a subject of litigation, I have instructed my lawyer, Femi Falana SAN to file charges of contempt against Speaker Dogara and of course the House of Representatives.

Let me state very clearly that i will never ever apologise to anybody in the House of Representatives. There is no reason what so ever to apologise.

I did not commit any offense. I did not abuse my office. I have said it repeatedly that in the five years that I have served in the House of Representatives, I have never corruptedly enriched myself.

In contrast, these are the allegations that I raised against Mr Speaker, 3 Principal Officers and few other Committee Chairmen to which they have not responded till date.

The bad news for Speaker Dogara and his corrupt cabal is despite doing their worst and exhausted their bullets by "suspending" me, it has not in any way changed the fact that the Speaker conspired with some Principal Officers to commit monumental budget fraud, corruption and abuse of their various offices. I stand by all the allegations I raised.

I wish to state categorically clear that there exist chronic individual and systemic corruption in the House which has made it difficult for members to assert their independence. It is on the strength of such weak institution that Speaker Dogara continue to flaunt a fake popularity in the House of Representatives.

In the next few days I will provide proof of shocking systemic corruption in the House.

In the next few days, Nigerians will know how much the House stinks in corruption.

I shall continue this struggle to expose corruption in the House, push for reforms and ensure that justice is served on Speaker Dogara and others.

It's the end of an era for BlackBerry. The company, famous for making cellphones with physical keyboards that were once so popular people nicknamed them Crackberries, has decided to stop making its own devices.


BlackBerry said on Wednesday that it will rely on partners to manufacture the phones, which will still have BlackBerry's look and feel.


The company announced a joint venture with an Indonesian telecom company that will start making them. BlackBerry plans to turn its attention to software, a move it has made gradually in recent years as sales of its phones have slid.


BlackBerry was once the phone of choice for Wall Street traders, politicians and celebrities, thanks in part to its well-regarded security system. President Obama was spotted with a BlackBerry. So was Kim Kardashian West.


But the company was too late to the touchscreen game, and customers left in droves for Apple's (AAPL, Tech30) iPhone, Samsung's (SSNLF) Galaxy and other devices running on Google's (GOOGL, Tech30) Android system.
Even Microsoft (MSFT, Tech30) has moved ahead of BlackBerry with its Windows Phones.

The man has been identified as an Igbo businessman/politician named Chief Peter Nwaedozie Alias Mkpume from Ogboji town in Orumba local government area of Anambra state. The man got everyone shocked after he took off his clothes publicly on camera in Abuja and went stark naked to demand for the money he was being owed by an alleged rich debtor who has been identified as Anambra state born billionaire turned pastor Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu.

Apparently tired of the numerous excuses by Mr Nicholas, Chief Peter Nwaedozie resorted to the method of going stark naked in the house of his debtor just to compel him to settle the debt. He also claimed that Prince Ukachukwu had threatened to get him arrested if he ever demands for his money again.

Senator Dino Melaye on Monday showed off two vintage cars, a Mercedes Benz 190 (1958 Model) and a Hindustan Ambassador, used for his security aides to the Sheraton Hotel Abuja, venue of a colloquium on the "Legislature-Executive Relationship in this 'Change' Era."
The first of the cars, which served as a pilot, had a police orderly and the Senator’s aides. The other, which carried the customized number plate "KOGI DINO 10," drove Mr. Melaye and another police orderly.

Upon arrival, the Senator asked his drivers to park the cars where they would command public prominence.

Senator Melaye owns a controversial garage of exotic and luxury cars estimated at costing billions of Naira. The former anti-corruption fighter also in the past few years in Abuja acquired a palatial mansion valued at N1.3 billion ($US6.5 million)

The first time Nigerian Senator has 28 of these expensive cars in his garage with a mobile house he has shown off recently.

Earlier this year, Mr. Melaye posed inside a 2015 Slingshot which was estimated to cost about N4.78 Million ($24,000) when he visited the National Hospital Abuja when the former Minister of State for Labour and Productivity James Ocholi died in an accident.

Among the other guests at the event today were Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekeweremadu, Speaker of the House Yakubu Dogara, and Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal.

Love and pleasure turned into anger and pain for a couple in Kano as they were bathed with acid while having a romp under the sheets.

According to a report from The Nation, the couple are married and they live around Gyadi Gyadi /Karkasara area of the state.

An eyewitness said the proximity of their bed to the window made it possible for their assailant, who is unknown, to perpetrate the wicked act.

“Amina and her husband called Moses were making love in the evening of the unfortunate day, when they suddenly raised the alarm that someone had poured a liquid substance on them through their window.

“We rushed into their room only to find them in pains. Amina was the one that was badly hit by the liquid substance suspected to be acid. She was treated at the Aminu Kano Specialist Hospital and their assailant has not been apprehended as we speak despite the fact that the matter was reported to the state police command.
