Hahahaha, me I hardly record any call, but sometimes my cheek mistakenly press the button and once the other person hears it, I feel embarrassed.

I think it is in line with european regulations. I don't use the global version and mine does not announce but those who use global versions have that issue.

Why the likes of Samsung and Iphone that are widely used in Europe don't do that?

I'm using Redmi 8A and whenever i press record while making calls, they don't hear anything. I even call my guy one day and ask if he heard anything like THE CALL HAS BEEN RECORDED nd he said no.
How come urs is like that?

Mine is Note8, not 8A... Quite embarrassing

I use Note 8, and whenever I press Record Call, the phone would shout this call is now being recorded, and embarrassingly, the other person would ask why am I recording the call, that he hears when they shouted it.

Currently using Xiaomi, but one thing I hate about the phone is that I can't use it to record my calls. Once I press record call button on the call window, it will announce to the hearing of the person on the opposite side that, THIS CALL IS NOW BEING RECORDED... That's embarrassing.
