Hello Guys, I'm sorry I seem to be asking about this a lot. But, has anyone ever gotten a study visa for Ireland with 6k euros or 7k out of the whole tuition? I mean for schools that don't require full payment before visa. Thanks

Hi. I have an offer for an Msc Chemical Engineering from Limerick and intend to apply for my visa about 3 months to September. However, I would be glad to know if you know anyone that has succesfully gotten a visa with 6000 euros as against full payment? Also, my sponsor wants to know if they can withdraw from the closing balance once I have printed out and submitted the statement of account? Thank you for all your help.

If your overall tuition fee is within the range of 11,000 to 12,500 ; Yes you can do that however, its important to have the right proof of funds and amount required in the account.
Cheers
Hi ICaSNg. ..When you say have the required amount/ proof of funds...Do you mean one must have or show the remaining 6k (or more as the tuition may be) plus living cost? Or one can show the living cost alone

ICaSNg:
If you pay in full you have a greater chance of having your visa approved.
However, most students have gotten their visas approved with just 6k. It all boils down to you having enough proof of funds and hopefully not more than 1 previous refusal.

Cheers
many thanks for your response. By sufficient funds ,,you mean after payment of the 1st semester tuition of 6k I should have about how much left? living cost of about 10k (4.5m)?

hi guys, been a while.... have been busy with Assignments up and down...

now straight to my point... if you have been given admission in ireland and you are sure of coming.. please try to get contacts of people coming as well so that u guys can arrange for accommodation... cos accommodation is not easy here.... on a average of 400EURO per month....
ALSO... learn to be patient.... cos u wont get everything u want immediately... its all about APPOINTMENTS here.

For people coming for Msc..... its all about research assignments and exam..... improve your presentation skills very well.

For Jobs... jobs are very much available here provided your documents are complete and you meet the requirement.
Hi. You guys are doing a terrific job on here. I'm Ibrahim and new on this forum. I'll be applying to U of Limerick for my LLM this year and need to get some facts right. Can I actually pay 6000 euros first as my programme is 12k and actually get the visa? an agent seems to think I must pay all else I'd be denied or my visa grant dragged till I pay. Has anyone actually gotten a visa with 6k payment as on the Irish immigration website ? Thanks

hi...I'm new to this group. I applied on June 1st for my study permit for a 2 year diploma in canada. I have a BSc in english but after working in the hotel and hospitality industry for a year, i decided to switch to it formally. as at the time I submitted the exchange rate was 154 and my mom had 5 million covering my tuition + living expenses of 10k dollars and 3 airfare in her account n an 18 million naira bizness with an income of about 8 million per annum. now that the rate is 222, I do not meet the proof of funds. would the rate at time of application be considered or the present rate? thank you.
