GHJOE:Bro, pls what did they ask at Heathrow? Did they ask for Covid test result? What of TB test? Mine expired Jan 22, booked flight to.Heathrow Jan 31. Did they ask for any POF? Thanks |
Hello House, I got my study visa in November, My TB test is expiring this month, January 22nd 2021. With this lockdown, I plan to enter between January 29 and February 10. Will my 22 January expiry date be a problem for me at the border on entry? I am going with family and their TB test is still valid till May 2021, I am the only one whose own is expiring this month. Do they always check this TB test cert at the borders? |

My people, I am going to Nottingham around Jan 9, 2021 with my wife and 3 kids, the issue is I have been trying to get a 3 bedroom flat from Nottingham to Derby to no avail. Most agents/landlords want employed people. My sister and her hubby there cant even secure a viewing, they live in a small 2 bed flat, that once the agents hear its a PG student with family, they say sorry they don't lease to students. Pls advise. I need a place to land with my family even if na 2 bedroom. I have a boy (10) and 2 girls (8 and 5). Healhtyliving: |
How true is this your assertion? That they cant use your GWF application number to apply for dependant visa? I haven't heard of this, what of those that apply together? Pls explain better the rationale behind using BRP permit for dependants to apply because my dependants are applying shortly after I get my visa, and I am planning to wait for them to get it so we move together. But this your BRP theory is scary and confusing. Someone or anyone with experience on this please help clarify. Bourne007: |
Congrats. Please I want to know from those who have gotten their visas either through standard or priority, at what point do you know your visa is approved Is it stated in your decision mail?Or you cannot know till you get your passport back and open it? I just applied and paid for priority and courier. WIll they let me know if visa is approved at any stage before I get the passport back? The wait for courier na wa o. Sometimes to pick up is faster to quench BP. lol gentilityndu: |
Try Prodigy finance at www.prodigyfinance.com But note that they only deal with selected TOP schools in the UK. If you are lucky to get admitted to any of those schools not only in UK but around the world, they will give you loan. They offered me a loan cos I was expecting admission from University of Manchester (one of the very few schools in UK they finance) but Manchester no gimme admission o. The other schools sef no gimme, na Ivy league standard schools. Check the prodigy website for further details, wish you the best. Mustardsandteal: |
Congrats. I heard people with prior visa refusals hardly get priority visa in 5 working days. Pls have u ever had any visa refusal? UK or other? Just for clarity pls Sherry02: |

It should be open (UKVI offices). Schools. Colleges & Universities will still be open. Its not a total lockdown like the one in April. UK needs your upgraded IHS fees. Lol Sulis: |
Hello, Please for those who have used Paga, can one also pay for priority visa using Paga? In addition to paying for visa fee and IHS? Secondly for those of us that started online studies in Sept 2020 and joining on campus in Jan 2021, will our IHS be prorated? I tried filling on UKVI website with Sept 2020 as start date and it still gave me 705 pounds. That na ojoro o. dulahi770: |
Please, to pay with Paga verve, do you need Verve card? Or you can pay with mastercard? Chreze: |
My sister, I once read this on UKVI or UKCISA website. Assuming you are correct, that visa refusals don't cause delay, can you please tell us what factors could cause a non-straightforward processing? I'd like to learn. I also want to apply priority but I have had some refusals in the past and I am skeptical. Others can pls contribute. Have you seen someone with refusal or previous visa refusals get his/her priority visa in 5 working days?? Aprokodaughter: |
It will end in praise. Have you ever had any visa refusals in the past? This is something that may cause some delay. Swiftlee: |
hI GUYS, Please a lady wants to apply for tier 4 visa with 3 dependants,(hisband and 2 kids) but came up short on funds. Can she apply alone and go? When funds drop later the husband and 2 kids can Jon her. The issue is the second daughter is currently 8 months old and will be 11 months by Sept start date. She wants to drop the girl with grandma. Can UKVI issue the mother visa to go ALONE or will they check the dependent details she will be leaving behind and make a decision? |
Shady Poza, that's a strong one. Congrats. This took over a year. Did IRCC at any point ask you for a new bank statement or proof of funds? Or that POF you submitted overall year ago is still the one that will be used to conclude the case. I have applied and am supposed to return the money. Hope they won't ask me for a second POF? Gurus please comment. Shadypoza01: |

let us see weda d bombing in kaduna will stop now dat a muslim governor has come home 2 roost. RIP Yakowa and Azazi. It looks like a PDP & Boko haram collabo! |
[b]True..we r africans and still blive in elders...ask me why? so many of us youths blive we knw more than we rily do. Buhari may hv his faults..but if u ask me, most of us knw 1 thing, hate it or leave it ...he is principled. we cannot tk dat frm him, his overly religious utterances hv many atime landed him in 'taint soup', but who doesnt hv faults In d era of WAI and the ptdf, remembr wen all 9ja unis had buses? sum places gt roads, clinics.....he at least has performed when compared to other regimes...like dis PDP regime....subsidy, boko haram, pension scam, capital markt probe, so many probes...but no culprit...oh Nigeria.... BUhari has bn dia done tht, if he returns now. he knws exactly d power levers to pull to kickstart dis country in a positive directioon. we the youths wont knw hw d bondage connection has bn up there, so we cant rily cut off d cabal we r more educatd no doubt, lets handle ministerial, LG chairman, GUbernatorial, house of assembly n oda appointments of execution....but wat 9jeria nids nw is a ruthless fearless cleanser....of corruption....u wil nid sum vengeance if u r 2 fight corruption,,,i see Buhari's face amongst present options and not religion...4 reliigon is d opium of d masses. we profess God a lot, but hw many of us realy take time to listen 2 God? r we d most holy of nations?? the last thing we need is a party dat has given us all d bitter pills we eva knew 4 democracy...and not too many sweet ones i'm afraid. 4 a country of our standn... d party dat has kept dissapointn us in d league of nations.....d party where corruption reigns supreme everywhere........... it is corruption we hv to fight brethren....not relgion, age, tribe or race.
