I am a 39year old teetotal man. Suddenly, in October 2024, i noticed frequent urge to urinate (without any pain at all) and i have been having this urge to urinate till date without diuretics pill. Sometimes, it will be frequent during both day and night every 2-3hours; or low frequency during the day every 5hours and high in the night every 2-3hours. I have visited general hospital to run tests: Urinalysis, Urine culture, Kub, Eucr and all came out Normal except for my urine culture where a trace of protein was found in urine. For years, my blood pressure has always been high and i do use diuretics pills (hyporetic & natrilix sr) to manage it which makes me to urinate whenever i use them only. Due to this recent Urination , the bp pills were changed to Normoretics and Lisinopril which i am not seeing their effects in lowering the bp. More so, i have not been using them for months now so that i can get the root cause of this sudden urination urge.

I need help on what to do to be free from this frequent urination as it is jeopardizing my quality sleep already. Or do i need to repeat all these tests again or what? I have over spent money.....i am just confused!

It is my wife, please help.

She did partial hysterectomy in June 2024. This is one year now, she has been having this ON and OFF ache leading inflammation (which causes pus) on a particular spot of the suture (extreme edge of the suture). Within this one year, all my savings are gone. I am just TIRED!

Just last 2-3months, we did series of tests to check infection, ranging from: ultrasound (nothing found), CT scan (normal), Stool test, HVS (nothing found), Urinalysis (E.coli found), Culture, and lots more ...with detected infection and non-infection all were stated and suggested.

Due to all these, she was placed on expensive antibiotics for weeks by the surgeon and the whole inflamed suture region got dried as usual and reoccurring again as usual now

Just yesterday, another ache that will lead to inflammation has been sensed at that particular region again. I DON'T JUST KNOW WHAT TO DO AGAIN!

Is there a doctor int the house here that i can relate with concerning my wife's health status now?

Removing just the ovaries will tilt you into early menopause. That's thrash advice.

What you need is a hysterectomy(just the uterus), not oophrectomy.

With the ovaries, you would still ovulate, but not menstruate, then you would have enter menopause at your own time.

Since you have ran a urinalysis that explicitly shows there is no proteinuria, infections or other underlying conditions I would say you have nothing to worry especially in the absence of other symptoms.

Foamy urine can be caused by many different things some of them worrying enough and others just as normal as the process of urination. The protein albumin could leak into urine if the filters of the kidneys get compromised. As the protein reacts with air foams get produced during urination. When this happens other symptoms like shortness of breath, itchy skin, swollen limbs and eye lids, and feeling sick could accompany the buildup of toxins caused by the kidneys inability to properly function.

Since you mentioned when you most experienced foamy urine I will narrow the normal causes to a few things. The first could be down to dehydration. Since you mentioned the foams are in the morning it could boil down to urine concentration in the morning after a night's sleep. At this point all the waste are concentrated enough to have protein enough to produce foams but yet not enough to be a Protein problem. Your recent diet might play a role too. Have you met a new girl who has been feeding you with boiled eggs, meat and other foods rich in protein?Lol

The second reason could boil down to Pressure. As urine builds up over night in the bladder it could gush out in the morning with enough force capable of producing streams of bubbles that look like foam. These though dissapear faster than true foams. You mentioned foamy urine after exercise. Most people will experience foamy urine after a fever, stress or intensive physical activity. Without going into the mechanism it is possible to lost proteins during hectic physical exercise in what could be a transient proteinuria. Also physical activity could cause plenty of sweating and dehydration that increases urines concentration and ability to foam. Check too if your toilet pot is having a detergent that creates foam after you pee?

Since the hospital has ruled out any suspicion of Urinary Tract Infections, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Proteinuria etc you can keep enjoying life in the knowledge that I too just passed out foamy urine this evening yet in perfect health... Do well to increase your fluid intake to atleast two liters of water daily. All the best

Hi Doc. Good evening. Due to my job, i engage in sedentary lifestyle alot. I am married but i masturbated on 24th October, 2024 and after ejaculation, i noticed a swell on my penis shaft. After waiting for about 12-24hours, the shaft returned to normalcy 100%. My testes don't ache at all nor my penis. After shaft normalcy, i noticed the following:
