Gbawe:
This OP is a disgusting chap I don't even like to quote or dignify with a response to his posts which are main silly and cretinous. Yet this post is different in its silliness and outright idiocy. I am shocked the OP is not ashamed to bring this garbage here which is an insult to to the intelligence of all Nigerians and another indictment of how clueless and destructive the PDP is. PDP, seriously ? huh huh huh huh huh

Is this how desperate the ruling Party is after failing Nigerians for 16 years? Okay let me holla Epe/Ikeja/Surulere folks to vote Agbaje and GEJ to get Epe/Ikeja/Surulere State respectively !!!!!!! While at it, why not promise Abeokuta or Ijebu Ode their own State if they vote for the PDP in Ogun State? Osun nKo? Perhaps Osogbo folks should vote PDP and get their own State !!!! Totally ridiculous and the sort of antics expected from a drowning Party that has nothing to offer the masses and is now only willing to say and do anything, however impractical or silly, that will provide 4 more years to loot the commonwealth of the people on top of the 16 years they have had already.
Bros Gbawe no need to hyperventilate na, vote PDP to get Ibadan state, I pasted the source too, go check it.

but regretted that Buhari was not a better alternative because as a life patron of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, he had never for once called to order, suspected ‘’Fulani herdsmen who had been rampaging through the Middle Belt, dispossessing our people of their land, raping women and killing without compunction.”
PDP would sweep the middlebelt, Buhari has no plans for Northern Christians except his Fulani tribesmen.

Politics › Vote Jonathan, And Get Ibadan State – Akinjide by Mogidi(op): 7:59am On Jan 23, 2015
IF YOU WANT IBADAN STATE VOTE PDP Akinjide
Ibadan – The people of Oyo State have been urged to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan and all Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidates in February to ensure the creation of Ibadan state.

Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT), made the call during PDP campaign for Jonathan and Sen.Teslim Folarin in Ibadan on Thursday.

Akinjide said that Jonathan had signified interest in the creation of the state and such would be achieved if re-elected and with Folarin as the governor of the state.
“You should please go out and convince others to collect their voter cards.
“Tell them to vote for Jonathan and Folarin. It is by doing so that we can get Ibadan State. Vote PDP, vote Ibadan State’’, she said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the minister used the occasion to dispel the rumour of being at loggerheads with Folarin.

“Folarin and I are brother and sister. We are not fighting. We are together’’, she said.
Alhaji Yekini Adeojo, former National Deputy Chairman of the party, said Folarin was the best candidate for Oyo governorship.

He said Sen. Rasidi Ladoja of Accord Party, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi of All Progressives Congress and Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala of Labour Party had been governors and old.

“Two of them have cases in court with EFCC. Folarin has none and he remains untainted. He is young and neutral. Vote for him’’, he said.

Sen. Lekan Balogun called for massive votes for Jonathan, Folarin, Sen. Ayoade Adeseun, and other candidates of the party.

He said, “we are going to beautify Oyo without inflicting sufferings on the people of the state.’’

The event attended by a mammoth crowd, was attended Gen. Raji Rasaki, former Military Administrator of Lagos and Ogun and Sen. Hosea Agboola.
Others were Alhaji Yinka Taiwo, Chairman of PDP in Oyo, Asimiyu Alarape, the Director-General, Teslim Folarin Campaign Organisation and a host of party supporters. (NAN)

Politics › Re: Kano APC In Disarray, Kwankwasiya Movment To Support Jonathan by Mogidi: 7:53am On Jan 23, 2015
It has also been gathered that the lack of trust between Kwankwaso and Buhari may stem from the latter’s comments in 2010 when he called the General a serial coupist.
But he's a coupist like Kwankwaso said, Kwankwaso is right on this one, if I say Buhari is an illiterate I would be right also, these are verifiable facts.

Btw: Are you seeing the Global disgrace Buhari and APShit are bringing upon themselves for Buhari’s dishonesty?

I don’t expect Buhari to lie under oath, a simple statement of “My Certificates are lost and could not be found" instead of “All my Certificate are with military board secretary” what a fraud.
I dey kampe.
In sane societies Buhari wouldn't be facing electorates, he would be facing perjury charges. I however understand why PDP won't want to see him in court, how do we explain jurisprudence to his illiterate followers? Left for me he should be charged with perjury.

To Nigerians: It means Nigerians truly yearn for something new....something different from the PDP. It means they are so disenchanted with the PDP they are willing to try an old, retired General. That's life.

To PDP: It means the people are willing to do away with this party. The PDP squandered 15 years of grace and goodwill bestowed on them by Nigerians. The consequences of that waste may eventually catch up with them come Feb 14th.

To the Youths: His emergence means the youths have a lot of capacity building to do. So far, most Nigerian youths aren't that ready to handle leadership roles and positions.

To Nigeria: It means since 1985, our Nation couldn't build character other than Buhari with the requisite traits of integrity, transparency and fairness, and maturity, needed to handle our nation.

To Africans: We still prefer old pple as our leaders.

Caveat: don't take this very seriously. ...meant for laff.
Something new but created in 1985, I don't think its as new as you opined up there.

When Yaradua left, Nigeria's unemployment rate was 19%. Under Jonathan, it is about 23%. Are we progressing or retrogressing? What manner of President is Jonathan?

What was the unemployment rate as at Jan 1984 and what was it as at 1985 August? Try to argue smartly
The bolded above was not necessary.

Anyway here's how we celebrated "Labour day in 1985"

Excerpt from an article in Concord Weekly, May 16, 1985

“Solider go, soldier come, but Nigerian workers’ plight still remains battered.
This is certainly no way to economic recovery
Rulers and ruled, employers and employees. Soldiers and journalists. Away with Decree 4, it is anti-truth. The nation belongs to us all.”
These represented a cross-section of the strongly worded vitriols that appeared on the placards carried by thousands of angry looking, depressed, disillusioned workers… at the May Day celebration.
…1.5 Million workers have been forcibly retrenched since the Buhari Military Administration took over the reins of power from Shagari…
The retrenched were from both the public and private sectors of the nation’s economy.
A very significant number of those still working…had no cause to celebrate since some of them possibly stand to be retrenched any time.
The …workers were not there to celebrate over anything.
Rather than praise their leaders and rulers, angry and hungry looking workers resorted to placard-carrying demonstration chanting bitter songs and unprintable abuses, all directed at their leaders and those in government.
But for the timely intervention of battle ready but equally grief stricken and disillusioned law enforcement agents… labor leaders and top government officials in attendance would have been mobbed.
Buhari was expected at the stadium but was conspicuously absent. His Minister for Labor…. was booed by the demonstrating workers throughout the address he read on (Buhari’s) behalf.
What further saddened the workers was the presence of five year old, poorly dressed and grief stricken Lekan Apelehin.
Lekan had just been thrown out of school following the inability of his retrenched parents to pay his school fees.
His father was, until recently, a member of a new association in Nigeria- the Nigerian Association of the Retrenched (NAR). Felicia, Lekan’s mother, had also lost her job and had since qualified for the unenviable membership of NAR.
Plackard carrying Lekan (had the following message) ‘Give my retrenched parents jobs so that our family may not die of hunger and starvation.’
In his speech, (the President of the NLC,) Ali Cirioma said ‘the NLC is unhappy with the ‘excessive intolerance’ displayed by the Buhari administration in handling democratic organizations and popular opinion. (He added) No government… can arrogate to itself the monopoly of ideas…
NLC also kicked against the recent banning of the Nigerian Medican Association (NMA) nd the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).
In his address, read on his behalf by the labor minister, Buhari warned that retrenchment may not be over yet because non functional employees in the public sector would be flushed out immediately they are discovered.
By the time the minister was about to conclude Buhari’s remarks, the atmosphere had become overcharged as workers had become increasingly enraged and were fully prepared for a show down with labor leaders and govt functionaries.
The minister hurriedly rushed through the address… then quickly left the venue without taking the traditional salute while the parade was in progress.”
Truth is, Buhari showed extreme callousness toward the people he forcibly governed. He was NOT the patriotic dictator he is being paraded as today. Buhari was not suitable to lead Nigeria in 1985, and isn’t suitable to lead Nigeria now.
Here is the article in its entirety.

They should be proud of the principal for trying to save olodo Buhari's face.

Check out Dr Goodluck Jonathan's impressive educational qualifications

He attended Christian primary and secondary schools in the area and later attended the University of Port Harcourt, earning a B.S. in zoology (1981), an M.S. in hydrobiology and fisheries biology (1985), and a Ph.D. in zoology (1995). During his university education, he also taught at Rivers State College of Education from 1983 until 1993. He then served as an assistant director at the Oil Mineral Producing Areas Development Commission, a now defunct government agency, from 1993 until 1998.
Looking at GEJ's impressive educational qualification, one can see why APC want to attach ssce to Buhari's name. Buhari has no formal education.
