Politics › Re: Jonathan's Oil Revenue As Much As Yaradua, Obj, Abdusalami & Abacha Combined by Mogidi: 9:12pm On Nov 22, 2014 |
datolee: 2. He failed to also state the expenditure of these governments within those time frame. I will give a little explanation here... Do you know that the budget of Lagos state Nigeria in 2014 (N489.69billion) is more than Nigeria's federal budget in 1997 (N243 billion) and 1998 (N240.5 billion) combined?
Why is that when people talk about revenue (not oil sales) in various governments, they find it convenient not to talk about the expenditure?
3. Let us assume for one moment that the writer is true with his $500 billion revenue, have he told us what state and local governments got from this amount? Let take another analogy here, I will take 4 states
In 2005, the budget of Ogun state was N40.55 billion, in 2014, the budget is N210.21 billion
For state like Imo, the 2005 budget was 35.7 billion while the 2014 is 137 billion naira
River state was 144 billion in 2005 and 485 billion in 2014
Kano state was 41.6 billion in 2005 and N219.2 billion in 2014
In conclusion, if the writer wants to know what happened to his crude oil sales of $500 billion, maybe he should ask his governors and Local government councils! You too much |

focus7: Op you accused OBJ of deception and you clothed your post with the highest level of deceptions. What is free and fair in the elections conducted by Jonathan, do you call the current bully and intimidation of the opposition free and fair, what is free and fair in the treatment Jonathan is giving Tambuwal because he is no longer comfortable to remain in the party with him due to his body language to corruption, do you call the recent invasion of the data office of the opposition a process to free and fair, the militrization of Ekiti and Osun election with the hounding of the opposition party officials while he's own party officials went about freely manipulating and rigging the election with no on Bros thank God for small mercies, I personally wish GEJ was like OBJ or better still Buhari, in which case dullards like you won't have the effrontery to spew rubbish on the net, like I said you should thank God for small mercies. |

I knew this report could only emanate from Tinubu's newspaper stable. I think Tinubu's parkinsons disease has debilitated the man to the extent he thinks he and his cohorts in HOR can muster the required 2/3.
Meanwhile Tambuwal is wanted by the police, any one with informations about his whereabouts should contact the nearest police station. |

‘’Let us remind the Presidency, in case it has forgotten, that election fraud triggered a civil war in Algeria in the early 1990s, led to the killing of over 1,000 people in post-election riots in Kenya in 2007/2008 and fired a near revolution in Iran in 2009/2010. |

obailala: ..and who will lock him up?... the spineless Jona that was threatened by a bloody tout tompolo and he chickened away from coming to delta state last week? Bros you should worry about your BP, Tambuwal is probably on his knees now or on the phone to GEJ. |
Politics › Re: Police To Invite The Speaker Over The Thursday's National Assembly Crisis by Mogidi: 9:16pm On Nov 21, 2014 |
obailala: What is this mogodo character spewing all over this thread?
Sanusi told Nigerian that their spineless president watches helplessly and cluelessly as his cronies and enemies alike are plundering our collective wealth... In all his interviews, he clearly stated that his patriotic duty is simply to inform Nigerians of the rot and he also urged Nigerians not to be afraid of vested interests (just like GEJ is scared).
After all the silly rants by the presidency, where is Sanusi today?.. he has retired to become the emir of kano which has always been his life long ambition and dream.
So I ask again, wtf is mogidi spewing about Sanusi? Stop foaming in the mouth, if you think you can bail Tambuwal I suggest you head to Sokoto prison. Am done with you. |

The police and military as you have pointed out, are they headless bodies without control?.... who is the commander in chief of Nigerian armed forces? What is the role of the Generals in the army if they have to wait for the president to lead them in manhunt? |

Obviously it is not the presidency's job to go after shekau but it is the presidency's job to arrest the speaker? Thanks for pointing out my obvious flaw, I thought it was the duty of the police and the army? |

Using tax payers money to hunt and intimidate opponents is the hallmark of dictators. I wonder what they would have said if a Buhari was the one unleashing mayhem on his political opponents.
#drama-unfolding Are you expecting the president to go in search of Shekau, why not criticise those whose job it is to find Shekau? |
