First I wish to explain to you to know that, Imam Shekau is not dead as claimed because recently there was even communication and so he is alive. If Imam Shekau is not dead why did he suddenly stop speaking? Did the Nigerian Army bomb his voice? And why is Boko haram always revealing exclusives to saharareporters? |
Lumyboi:Dr. Abdulmumin Jibrin is an APC chieftain he has enough insight into political machinations of the North, I think I believe him. In reality I wouldn't want Buhari disgraced for the 5th time, a lot of NYSC members would pay with their lives. |
BrosPeter:Even notable Northerners are advising him not to disgrace himself by repeating his mistakes of 2003, 2007, 2011 and the forthcoming mistake of 2015. |
size38:GEJ will still win Rivers with a landslide so if you want to waste your vote by all means do. |
Just saw this in my inbox Those Urging Buhari To Contest 2015 Elections Are His Biggest Enemies – APC Lawmaker Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Finance, Dr. Abdulmumin Jibrin, said on Thursday that those encouraging former Head of State and All Progressives Congress chieftain, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), to contest the 2015 presidential election, were his biggest enemies. But Rep. Jibrin (Kano, APC), said his concern was that Buhari’s integrity as a man who always kept his word, would be tarnished if he insisted on contesting the forthcoming poll. According to the lawmaker, who spoke with reporters in Abuja, at 73, Buhari should be getting set to exit the political stage for the younger generation and go into retirement with his integrity intact. He listed some younger politicians he believed the former head of state should vacate the stage to allow them to take over as possible candidates of the APC to include Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal; Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola; Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi; Edo State Governor, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole; and Kano State Governor, Mr. Rabiu Kwankwaso. Jibrin argued that as a man of integrity, Buhari had promised back in 2011 during his campaign that he would not vie for any political office again if he failed to win that year’s presidential election. “I believe that we have to be honest with ourselves on the issue of Gen. Buhari’s aspiration to be president; perhaps that has been the challenge of the North. I have an inner conviction about what I am saying”, Jibrin insisted, noting that “those clamouring for him to run in 2015 do not really like him”. “My message to him is that he should play that tape of 2011 where he said he won’t contest again. The issue of his supporters bringing him back does not arise, otherwise, he is no different from Jonathan who said he was going to do one term in 2011 but is now running in 2015. “Some of his supporters I spoke with told me that if he is elected, he will only spend four years. But if he is going back on his 2011 pledge, how do I trust him now?” Jibrin asked. He expressed concern that Buhari’s sudden change of mind could only be a dent on his integrity and advised him to forgo his ambition. Jibrin spoke more, “I like and respect him so much as a man of integrity, but the truth is that we want his integrity to be protected. In 2011, he came out saying that he would not contest again. “We should not allow his supporters to prod him into contesting. Those prodding him to contest are his biggest enemies”. He argued further that if Buhari contested the election at 73, he would be 81 years old by the time he had done two terms, a period long enough to “wipe out” the younger generations. When asked to clarify his position on the speaker, who is at present a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, the lawmaker replied that it was the wish of APC members that Tambuwal was a member of the party. “It is a wish, it is my personal wish that he should come into APC. He is not a member of APC but we have always wished that he joins us. “Till today, the PDP is still going round trying to lure governors and House members who defected to APC. That is politics”, he added. When asked whether by urging Buhari to forgo his ambition, he was not indirectly campaigning for his state governor, Kwankwaso, who is also eyeing the APC presidential ticket, Jibrin claimed that his call had nothing to do with the governor. “Everything I have said is not a campaign for my governor”, he stated. |

The National Leader of the Congress for Progressive Change, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has said he does not know any member of Boko Haram sect. Buhari said this in an interview with journalists at his party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday during the party’s Board of Trustees meeting. He also said he did not know any religion that would support the killing of innocent people and burning of schools. The former Head of State was among those the sect nominated on Thursday to mediate between it and the Federal Government at a meeting that must hold in Saudi Arabia. Buhari said, “I do not know any member of the Boko Haram sect. I do not believe and I do not know of any religion that will go and kill people, burn schools. “There was a stage where I mentioned that I agreed with one intellectual where he said there are three Boko Haram, one of Muhammed Yusuf, whom we know. “A leader of the military then in Maiduguri then did what we know in the military about internal security. They looked for Yusuf, they handed him over to the police; healthy young man and he died under a very dubious account in the police custody. “The second Boko Haram was a criminal attacking banks and market places stealing money. They issued a statement that they are Boko Haram, and I said and I have no regret saying it, that the biggest Boko Haram is the Federal Government itself, because it has all the powers to stop anarchy in the country. “Now the social part of the country has been paralised, economic activities have stopped. People are no longer thinking of employment, they are thinking of what to eat and how to go about the following day.” Buhari said the BOT reviewed what transpired in the party from the time of the elections through the tribunals to the Supreme Court. He said, “Among the things discussed is the matter of merger which has occupied the minds of most Nigerians. The only realistic way of consolidating the multi-party democracy system is for opposition parties to come together and fight the ruling party Peoples Democratic Party.” http://www.punchng.com/news/i-dont-know-any-boko-haram-member-buhari/ |

Same Newswatch made Saddam Hussein man of the year 1990 or is it 1991, see where it led the Iraqis. |
Zakkyoz:And if he is arrested you lot will go on killing spree, how many Youth corpers are Nigeria willing to sacrifice to effect his arrest? You'd agree with me its not worth the life of those youth corps members in the north. Its indeed a shame he can't be arrested but the life of those non Hausas living in the north is worth more than Buhari's prosecution. Not prosecuting Bukohari is a lesser evil for now but he will surely have his day in court. |
pontirock:It may not be part of their uniform but its part of the gradual Islamisation of Nigeria. In the Nigerian Constitution, Shariah is mentioned 73 times, Grand Khadi 54 times, Islam 28 times , Muslims 10 times but not a single mention of Christ, Christian, Christianity or church. Vote Bukohari for total annihilation of Christendom. |
You won't have long to wait as long as you don't have a rethink. |
According to him, one of the commanders of the sect, Danladi Ahmadu, is representing the sect in the talksBoko haram wanted Buhari to act as their middle man in Saudi Arabia when the negotiation was first mooted but he reneged. So can someone please shed light on this Danladi Ahmadu, is he related to the Buko hari leader? |
idris4r83:Thats part of his job description, its his job to lie. He's name's Lai Mohammed for a reason. |
APC propagandist Lai Mohammed is not called Lai Lai Mohammed for nothing, this man deserves national award for twisting facts on its head. Should APC win next election I expect Lai Mohammed to land the minister for Misinformation portfolio. The man is a genius at misinformation. |
Expect a return to mayhem when Buhari loses next year as he's expected to. |
ayukdaboss:Buhari is the only one that can answer your questions. Why don't you ask Buhari why he ordered their release, if you have no access to him, I suggest you ask someone with good boko haram credentials than you to email the Buko hari leader. There are plenty people here on Nairaland with impeccable links to Boko haram, use their services. |
hazyfm:**Ignored** When you grow a brain let me know. |
BUHARI picks APC form then orders tactical withdrawal of his Buko hari troops. Buhari made a good choice, long may it last. |
ayukdaboss:I think Buhari wants another shot at the presidential election again. Expect a return of a more deadly boko haram next year after Buhari's defeat. |
feedthenation:If GEJ negotiates wahala, if he chooses not to negotiate wahala. Are your people not tired of killing baboons already? |
hazyfm:You're nuts to think Buhari would probe any of his friends. Check what happened in 1984 when Buhari allowed 53 suitcases belonging to the emir of Gwandu to pass the airport unchecked even though he ordered every suitcase be inspected irrespective of the status of the person because of the currency change. His ADC was Major Mustapha Jokolo son of the Emir of Gwandu. Google exist for a reason, I suggest you use it. |
The Japanese and Chinese people did the same thing in the 70s/80s look where they are now. Igbo people are very innovative, how I wish my people can emulate the resourcefulness of Ndigbo. Can't see it happening as long as we have Alhaji Oshiomhole as our gov, remitting untold sums to Tinubu monthly. |
To be "progressive" your boko credentials have to be impressive, it's one of their requirements. |
“N27 million is a big sum, thankfully I have personal relationship with the manager of my bank in Kaduna and early this morning, I put an early call (and) I told him that very soon the forms are coming, so, whether I am on red, or green or even black please honour it, otherwise I may lose the nomination.Hmmm! What happened to the $2.5bil that disappeared under your watch at PTF? Are you implying you spent all that loot on gworo? |
speshsworld:May the best GEJ win. |
The finale Islamisation of Nigeria would reach its peak with Muslim/Muslim rulers, bring it on. |
This co-operation was long over due and kudos to both the North and Western branch of the boko haram movement. Its time the boko boys in the west represents. |
Only 4 governors with five thousand boko haram reps, more like "who is who" in the boko haram movement. |
