They made their submission based on information available to them. I also questioned the judgement initially.

God Bless All Wailers...

God Bless OP
This would be going straight to the appeal court. Can't see how an election tribunal would overturn a popular mandate basing its judgement on intra party irregularity.

The impunity won't be allowed to carry on, civil disobedience if the appeal court becomes compromised as well.

Enjoy the accolade while it lasts, the appeal court would surely give back to Ishiaku what is rightly his.

Results of the election shows PDP had 369,318 as against APC's 275,984 (a difference of over 50,000), how can APC use election tribunal to overturn people's mandate.
Who gave Election tribunals jurisdiction in intra party affairs?

The Tribunal never said he wasn't PDP candidate. It said he wasn't properly elected as PDP candidate in the primaries. The primaries was done outside the State, which is against the Electoral Act. Which means he was even ineligible in the first place.
Who gave election tribunals jurisdiction over intra party affairs?
Politics › Re: Turns Out Gov. Darius Ishaku Has A Good Case At The Court Of APPEAL. by Mogidi: 3:30pm On Nov 07, 2015
Who gave election tribunals jurisdiction in intra party affairs, definitely not the Nigerian constitution.

True talk.
Now that I think of it...

If INEC considered his emergence as fraudulent, why did they go ahead to print his name and picture for people to thumbprint, why did they even bother with giving him a certificate of return.

The fault lies with INEC who did not follow the electoral act to the later.

But then again, it is what it is.
#CorruptionConfirmed
I remember GEJ presenting Ishiaku as PDP's candidate, if the tribunal says Ishiaku was not PDP's candidate who then was our candidate?
The tribunal chairman was obviously following a script.

I don't think the governor needs to be ruffled at all. Its on record INEC accepted the PDP's candidate, only the appeal court could decide this case.

Danladi Abubakar, chairman of the tribunal, declared Alhassan winner of the April 11 governorship election on the grounds that Ishaku did not emerge candidate of the PDP in a proper primary election.
Above was the reason given, seems APC had it all mapped out. Am however optimistic the court of appeal will overturn this judgement that reeks of fraud.

Its true "If he [Buhari] knew she was going to win, why would he nominate her?" There other people fighting/begging to be Minister. My instinct say Buhari is trying to console her for the lost with the Nominations.

Forget bro PDP is going down the Hell and will never come back, their sin is that they almost (if not) divided Nigeria along religion and ethnicity

Tell me, is there a better way to hoodwink people like you?
Nominate her and then tell gullible folks like you we never knew the tribunal was going to overturn the mandate duly given.

Only if you know how many artisans are brought into the country on a monthly basis to work on construction site. I worked on a DFID project some 5-6 years back. Dangote had to import over 3000 Chinese artisans for a particular construction site because the Nigerians available were not skilled enough. we do not have a proper vocational/trade schools to train Nigerians in trade skills like carpentry, welding, pipefitting e.t.c. Imagine if the 3000 Chinese workers were Nigerians, do you have an idea of how many mouths the earnings would feed?
If there were Nigerians capable of doing those jobs, Dangote wouldn't go to China to recruit. Lets train enough Nigerians before asking the immigrants to leave, except we want shoddy work, in which case we can ask them to leave and deploy substandard craftsmen to do jobs meant for qualified artisans.

but they have been doing that to Nigerians in other countries. even Ghana deports Nigerians. all foreigners should go cos they re not much use to us, we re the ones that do the labour work and they only sit in the car and a/c offices and give instructions, if they leave we will manage our country ourselves. we serve them in their country and we also serve them in ur country so wats the use for them to be here?
Buhari tried similar tactics in the 80s by expelling 700,000 Ghanaians, what good did it do to our economy or to the unemployed?

This is grandstanding by an inept and direction-less President. This would only appease our patriotism but nothing else, if it didn't work in the 80s it wouldn't work now.
I don't subscribe to European Technicians posing as Engineers here, but the people Bubu wants to repatriate are West African artisans. We signed ECOWAS protocol on free movement for a reason and those in fear of repatriations are brick and block layers, carpenters, painters, welders, fabricators, plumbers. Those jobs can hardly be described as jobs by Europeans.

What happens when our neighbours retaliate?

Saraki's lawyers are not the objects of the proposed "investigation" rather what transpired at the tribunal is.
NBA expressily said it was going to be holistic, stop trying to imply Saraki's lawyers would be the only ones investigated.

This is one of the best news this year. Do you know how much these construction companies pay their "expatriates"? Even at that you'll have foreign technicians earning better than Nigerian engineers on Nigerian soil.

How many expatriates are brick and block layers, carpenters, painters, welders, fabricators, plumbers?

President Buhari assured members of the board of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc that his administration would act swiftly to ensure that the Building Craft Training School and Skill Improvement Centre in Lagos are fully revamped, staffed and equipped to produce more skilled electricians, brick and block layers, carpenters, painters, welders, fabricators, plumbers and other artisans.

Adamu Aliyu didn't invest one Naira in Esan land, yet people wonder why we hate him.
