I have read several post and comments by this great Nairalander and they are always informative, educative, intelligent and breath taking. he always bring to the fore, some of the hidden agendas, hipocritical doings of the present government administration. I came accros this article and I was shocked and filled with awe, that politicians take Nigerians for granted and go scot free..
Bros you couldn't be truer in your analysis.

Politics › Re: Why Buhari Didn’t Appoint Igbos As Service Chiefs — Oyegun by Mogidi: 3:32pm On Jul 26, 2015
Oyegun's folly is legendary, you'd ask him a question and he'd reply with a question.

He said nothing meaningful, just endless quibbles.

Why?
Bill Gates never had any degrees, see where he ended up. Closer to home, Buhari has no education, check where he is now.
Education/Certificate is not the only avenue to success.

As long as Buhari intend fighting a region rather than corruption, the outlook appears dismal.

What about you, what do you want?
I want good governance, sadly Buhari can't provide it. Buhari's fight is not going to be against corruption, it will be against a region.
Politics › Re: “no State Government Has Got One Naira From The Bailout” – Oshiomhole by Mogidi: 2:50pm On Jul 26, 2015
Adams Oshiomhole, Governor of Edo State says that no state in the country has received any money from the Federal Government as bailout fund.
And when we receive ours, we hope you don't remit it to Ethiopia.
Politics › Re: How Jonathan,Governors,Service Chiefs Prevailed On Tompolo To Shelve Meeting by Mogidi: 2:43pm On Jul 26, 2015
Buhari have no intention of fighting corruption, he'd be fighting Biafra and Niger delta militants instead, seems Buhari wants war on three fronts, suddenly our future appears bleak.
Politics › Re: Is Nigeria Still Towing The Path Of Democracy? by Mogidi: 2:39pm On Jul 26, 2015
PMB as he is called today may have taken us back to the Obasanjo days. How else can we explain his style of intimidation, tribalism, NASS interference, selective justice, vindictiveness, and muzzling of the opposition.
PMB needs to make our democracy work, he needs to give all tribes a sense of belonging, create a strong middle class, tackle insecurity, allow for true separation of power and most importantly fiscal federalism.
The future suddenly appears bleak under Buhari's watch..
Politics › Re: Buhari, Buhari - Slow And Steady by Mogidi: 11:40pm On Jul 25, 2015
Buhari is slow, but not steady.
Are you planning on seeing him with a walking stick before you realize he's not steady, he is anything but steady, requires medical assistance any time he travels.

Seeing him talk about slash allocations gets me aannggrrryy.

Is it a crime not to depend on federal pay?

What structures does he have on ground to ensure sustenance?

What austerity measures did he take?
He's lost the luxury of blaming his usual scapegoat GEJ, his ineptitude is so glaring he'd be lucky to see out his tenure.

The Jagaban is too busy licking his wounds from the NAAS betrayal.

Sorry, but you have to pay them.

It is a pitiable sight to behold when you see able men and women line up for cups of rice and tin tomatoes.
At the onset of this pay issue, Aregbesola was still feeding Osun pupils rather than paying their parents to feed them, he continued till his socialist El-dorado fell to pieces.

Lesson 101 of how not to govern.

It doesn't make sense that the largest city in the UK is 93% Muslim, flies in the face of logic and common sense. What happened to the original inhabitants?

In a speech today by Prime Minister David Cameron in Birmingham to the Islamic Council of Britain, he revealed he plans to rename the city the Islamic Borough of England, owing to its 93% muslim population.
@OP
Did every one in Birmingham convert to Islam? You forgot we can use google before forming an opinion?

We miss the incredibly democratic GEJ who saw the whole Nigeria as his constituency. Welcome to tribal warlord Muhammandu Buhari, a man so ingrained in tribal politics his interview in America exposed his well kept secret.
