MizyB:Operating costs are cost of goods or services that are used up in a production process. Goods such as fuel, fertilizer, wages etc... all form the operating costs. Operating costs vary because their prices depend on the behaviour of other factors. Put in other words, they are externally determined. Take for instance, the amount paid labourers as wages depends on the volume of output and its marketability. The higher the volume of output and its marketability, ceteris paribus, the higher will be the wages paid workers as remuneration and vice versa. Likewise the price of fuel depends upon its output, its market and the cost incurred in producing it. Seeing as market conditions often change, their prices fluctuate and are therefore not constant. Fixed costs on the contrary do not vary with the level of output or any external factor. Take for instance, I lent you N100,000 on a written agreement that you will pay me 10% interest on it per annum, regardless whether you make profit or losses, you ought to honor the agreement and pay me the said amount as and when due. Wages on the other hand, can be reduced to cut losses. I hope that was clear enough. Pardon my epistle. |
Martiyu:lol. This dude, have you thought about strutting your stuff as a stand-up commedian? E go fit you bros. Heheh... thank you so very much! Humble me.... i am glad the prof approves of my points. |
Martiyu:So u be otondo... hehehe... thats naija for you my brother. What part of the country are u serving at? Better learn the language before u finish o. It could be what will help u nail a job in future. I don dey pity myself already. Lol. |
MizyB:On the terms of trade one, D is the correct answer. This is because TOT is expressed as the ratio of exports prices to import prices, and not the ratio of exports to imports. Option A ignores the the underlining word, which is "prices", and as such borders on "quantities". And as for the fixed cost question, depreciation, interest, insurance, taxes and repairs of machinery are all ownership costs... And ownership costs are fixed costs. So, interest on loan is a fixed cost. Wages on the other hand are as variable as it can ever get. So, option E is the correct answer. Wages are operating costs. All operating costs can be varied. |
Martiyu:Its restful almost just as much as its boring. As allowee no dey enter again. I am awaiting service ooo. U? |

ozoigbondu:Your analysis is spot on, but your labelling the Northerners as "parasites" is a dent. You sound brilliant, but its a shame you've taken to bigotry. People like you are the bane of Nigeria's development--brilliant mind, skewed sights... Such a shame! |
Martiyu:Lol. You are welcome bro. I am a graduate of economics myself. Was just passing by. You seem very sharp. |
Martiyu:Your answers are spot on. Highly impressed. You studied economics? |
Na ABUsites full this thread sha. OP, weldone. But I still set sight on A15 sha. Hopefully. ABU 2014. Economics. |
lanre316:You can update your current device if u like. Lollipop based roms are littered around all over the net. |
Disclaimer: I only just copy and pasted Rovo89's post from xda. It seems that many people have waited for this moment, and here we are: Xposed for Lollipop is finally here! You can find a list with Q&A on the XDA Portal. Please read it, you will find many answers there. Note that this is still an alpha version and for Lollipop on ARMv7+ devices only. Please install it only if you're willing to take the risk of boot loops. Just because it's working fine and stable for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone the same way. Downloads: xposed-arm-20150213b.zip: Must be flashed with a custom recovery to install the framework. XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha1.apk: Must be installed to manage installed modules No, it's not using material design yet. Yes, there are more important topics for now. XposedBridgeApi-20150213.jar: The API for module developers, in case they want to make use of some new features. Might be changed slightly until the stable release! Known issues: - It seems to boot loop on Samsung stock ROMs. I have received a file which I can use to analyse this issue, but it might take some time. - If you have downloaded the files within the first hour, your phone boots but the installer says that the framework is not installed, please download the updated version and flash again. XposedBridge version must be 61 afterwards. - If everything is working fine, but the app_process version is not displayed, it's just a display error that can be ignored (will be fixed later). sorextee:Change ROM. @op, the s4 is a fantastic device if you are a good maintainer. Still among the best in the market. You will enjoy it the most if you are the technically savvy kind. |
Hi everyone. Please who knows an app I can use to change per app dpi, font scale and resident on lollipop? I used to use app settings while I was on kitkat... but since its an xposed module, I cannot use it anymore on lollipop, as xposed does not yet have ART support. |
safarigirl:Lol. My apologies ma'am. . U can't deny Moe is good though. |
KAYCEEJUNIOR:Lol @warehouse director. True sha. |
Both men are gifted and are arguably the two best producers in Nigeria by some distance. Which of them do you consider the undisputed champion as far as directing? State + your reasons if need be. |
deejayharry1:Not only you bro. There's not a moment I log in to XDA that I do not check whether Rovo89 surprised us. BTW, do you have any alternative app to "app settings" module? I had to downgrade back to KitKat 4.4.4 for the sole reason. |
Julius262:Try installing another module alongside it. Installing wanam Xposed does it for me... I'm assuming ure on kk |
Lollipop brings a huge amount of visual and backend changes with it; the switch from Dalvik to ART runtime being one of the biggest of them. Months after its release, one particular change has left many Android enthusiasts in a limbo - whether to upgrade to Lollipop or not; because their beloved Xposed framework doesn't support ART and supposedly won't for a long time. Xposed Framework enables all kinds of customization allowing Android users to enhance the look or add features to their device, without touching the original system files or APKs. It uses modules that run on memory. Therefore, any changes made can be removed easily by simply disabling the modules and rebooting. No need flashing ROMs just to get a new feature to work. Xposed modules such as Xposed Additions comes with a configuration option to allow remapping of hardware button, reset the duration of long-press action, set device awake/sleep state when USB is plugged in/out. GravityBox, targeted at Android version 4.1+, is an all-in-one module that provides a large range of mods. Wanam Kit helps us customize our Android 4.4 with features for status bars, sound, lock screen, system, phone, security and more. With the help of the BootManager, we can choose the app we want to prevent running upon system startup. This help to reduce slow booting times. XuiMod spots compilations of features ported from other ROMs packed into one mod. DynamicNotifications lights up our Android device screen discreetly to show notifications without unlocking the lock screen. XPrivacy helps us restrict access to certain app permissions to prevent leaking of privacy sensitive data. Android Phone Vibrator allows our Android phone to vibrate whenever a call is connected or disconnected upon calling. XBlast Tools. Xblast Tools has a huge range of features for you to customize your Android device in any way that you want. The packed user interface lets users apply changes quickly. Tinted Status Bar. Change status bar color to match the current active app. Can be edited manually too. App Settings. This module allows you to change per-app generic settings such as DPI, rotation, app behavior, full-screen etc. Instagram Downloader. Add download features to the official Instagram app (to download Instagram photos and videos). All Notification Expanded. Automatically expand all notifications for Android device running 4.1 and above. The above modules among others, are the most missed features on the Lollipop platform... And the reason why we need the Xposed Framework on Lollipop ASAP. Rovo89, please do something, and fast! LOL. |
LOL. Funny man. |
meracool:Could you explain why you think so, sir? |
See how ugly that thing looks. Yucks! |
Lol... This man is a clown. We'll be stuck with him till 2019 though. |
"I hate that Goodluck treats terrorism with kid's gloves, I hate that he hiked oil price, I hate it more that the promised palliative, whatsoever it meant, still hasn't reached the masses... Yet, I intend to vote him come February due to obvious lack of better alternatives" Those were the words of my good friend when I asked who her choiced candidate is for the February polls. Buhari is a good man, some even think him morally upright; the messiah whose enthronement is long overdue. But for all the promise of a return to the good old days in a Buhari regime, And with all due respect, he offers no better alternative to the GEJ-led government for the following reasons: Firstly, His reputation precedes him. Buhari gained a reputation while in power for having no truck with corruption, he even promised to sweat and toil for the betterment of our dear nation... But, hey, every good person has a bad side to them. The "General" fought and to some extent, won the war against indiscipline. But, have you thought for a second if he is about to visit that same indiscipline upon us? He said he is "not rich", has someone thought if he was gunning for the presidency to enrich himself among other things this time on? My point is, either APC is lying to us, or, Buahri is. An APC chieftain did say Buhari will not send past corrupt leaders to jail, weeks after, albeit in response to GEJ's comments about sending past leaders to jail, Buhari said he intends prosecuting past corrupt public office holders. This to me is more an attempt to win the people over than a statement of intentions. Is Buhari lying to us? Is APC? I have my reservations. Secondly, His age. Someone might argue that " with age comes wisdom", and truly so. But in Buhari's case, I think its more a thing of "with age the mind goes". Is it for the love of his country or the money? Does he want it so he could even out with those who did him "strong thing" in the past? Could it be he actually desires to better our livelihoods? Why does Buhari want power so badly and is as desperate about it? All respect due, Nigerians need something anew. We need to move forward as a nation, and to do so, there's the need to do away with all that's past. For all his goodie bag, Buhari is of the old and should be done away with. Insult me all you want, but we need a 21st centurion to lead us in the 21st Century--not someone who will take us a century backwards. A Kwankwaso, Fashola or even Rochas would have been ideal. If it were for the love of the country that Buhari wanted the presidency as badly, then I'd say you don't have to be on the inside to contribute your quota to the growth of your country. A stakeholder role will fit just perfectly. Aside taking up public office(s), how much meaningful input has he made towards the progress of the country since he was ousted from power as a military head? Again, you cannot offer that which you lack. If Buhari had all it takes, and that which we needed, it would have shown from the outside, he needn't be in office for us to see it. On this note and so much other more, I'd say its better the devil you know... On APC APC is no better than PDP and offer no "change" like they preach. The modus operandi of good alternative political parties is "bring to the people that which they lack(ed)". APC chose a different route. Aside that they are a gathering of aggrieved former PDP members, APC are thuggish and more doggish than they claim Doyin Okupe to be. All they do is attack the opposition every chance they got, centering instead on petty talk like an aggrieved house wife whose husband is about to take in a new wife. They offer no change. APC are just like the opposition in their operations, they are different in name only. The party like PDP, has no people oriented goals, lacks objective criticisms and is basic. You would expect that an opposition party tackles head-on issues bothering the nation... APC instead, heats up the polity with senseless comments like running a parallel government. Bunch of big certificates bearing people acting like illiterates! PS: I'm not your typically inclined political person, just baring my mind. Pardon me if I got you vexed. |
May the best man win. I'm all for the masses |
We are the dream We are the future We are the revelation We are the change that we desire No single individual can change Nigeria, unless we join hands to stop this evil. The onus is on us to change Nigeria and to tip it in the direction that we want Do not blame everything squarely on GEJ alone... He's only human just like you and I, not some superhero just because he's the president. He should have gone to Baga himself to stop BH? |
. U can't deny Moe is good though.
