The whole of Nigeria protested the sudden unannounced increase and subsidy removal especially when many just finished Christmas and where broke

Everyone in Nigeria protested regardless of Party and Religion

In 2012 there was nothing like APC as Opposition, all we had where CPC , ACN , ANPP and APGA

People who led the protest are still alive like Prof Wole Soyinka, Pa Adebanjo, Pat Utomi of Labour Party, NLC and TUC, Charlie Boy of Labour Party, among others
