Some People always have this Set Expectation of what a friend shoud be. . ~Should Be Totally Trustworthy ~Should Be Always Forgiving ~Should Always Be Helpful ~Should Be Totally Honest ~Should Share Secrets ~Should Be Totally Understanding ~Will Never Let You Down ~Be There For You Always ~Wants To Do Most Things Together ~Should Not have Other "Best Friends" ~One has to make an conscious effort to be receptive to the needs of others but we can not always satisfy the expectations of others! As much as most friendships are formed by a level of interest that goes beyond each individual's needs we need to allow Boundaries in friendships for Self-growth! that brings us to a vital lesson on Forming healthy friendships ~Lesson No.2 : Allow Boundaries in your friendships. . .Who we are as individuals is what makes us unique in our own ways!! We need Self-growth as Individuals . . . .Drawing from a personal experience,Sometimes as hard as it might seem when "looking out" for a friend,we need to be aware or respect Boundaries in friendships! We cant always expect friends to do what coud be "right" for them but they need to come to that decision themselves rather than one imposing it upon them to see if from our point of view,giving the friend space to draw their own conclusions works better! :Whatever decision is made by the friend has to be respected! Understanding these boundaries & learning to live within the boundaries allows for a much stronger bond! ~"Friendships grow like trees. ~What i enjoy most listening to kids say funny things is the innocence with which they say it, . Priceless!! ~I've just had a good laff reading some posts,the "Mummy Chew the Bones" was my fav, . i laffed so hard i cried ~My Seven year old fancies himself a comedian,he's always doing/saying things that have me in stitches or gives me fits of giggles! I'll be here all day thinking of the things he's said/done. . . he mimics N9a pigin english pharses from Funny movies in an uncanny way for a Non-Nigerian! ~My Mam called to tell me MJ has died. . .when my son asked me what happened & i told him,he asked "Which MJ? The Brown One or the White one? I went from feeling sad & at the point of tears to having a good laff ~A Couple of years ago while spending the weekend over at his Uncle's,he woke up to find his Aunt & Uncle in one room & a friend of my SIS who'd spent the night who's also mixed-race in the guest room. . .he went to his uncle & aunt & asked "Why do you have two Aunt Annie"? |

~Some Prevention Tips ~ ~Some of these tips cud well be implemented in your parental guide. . . . ~Teach your children to TELL if someone tries to trick them or make suggestive sexual talk,accicendentally brush up against them or touch them!! ~Tell your child to avoid secluded places,stay in groups when possible. . .keep tabs on where you kid is/where they are hanging out,whose home etc ~Should your child end up in a Public toilet alone Not Something i advice,Teach your kid to run out & yell if someone tries to help them zip up or touch them in public toilets! ~Warn Children about some of the tactics Predators use to engage them in conversation eg Asking the time,asking for direction. . You might also want to telll your kids a predator could be a Nice Well dressed Respectable man & not likely to be a "Mean nasty man" as sterotyped!! ~If you child ever suspect someone is following them,advice them to knock on the nearest door to ask for help |

Caution: there will be genuine people who have no other motive but still it wudnt hurt to be weary!! ~46% will offer to give lifts home:-This is prolly one of the oldest trick in the book & am sure a lot of parents warn their children not to accept lifts from strangers but when its a familiar face. . .*Sighs* This is where communication is key as the child will prolly tell you that Friend/Aunt/Uncle acted "funny"!!Children are too trusting so warn them it cud be the last person they expect!! ~53% will offer Bribes,Gifts:- watch out for gifts you didnt give your child. . money he/she shudnt have. . . it wudnt hurt to be a lil bit observant! ~44% of Offenders will abuse/try to abuse children in public places. . .wait for this. . . . . some cited popular family friendly[b]Fast Food Resturant Toilets as a fav spot!!!:- DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD GO IN PUBLIC TOILETS ALONE!! some parents/carrers are comfy thinking "the toilets only there" & will allow their kids to go in alone. . bear in mind you dont know [B]WHO[/b] is in the toilet w/ your child!! I've witnessed this happen a lot in a popular food resturant children visit! |

They cud well be anyone!! from a family,relative,family friend!! Learn to open communications between you & your child so if anything inappropraite happens you'll be the first they tell w/o hesitation! ~50 % of offenders carefully tested a child's reaction to sex by bringing up sexual matters or having sexual materials around. .they then subtly increase to sexual touching! :- Now you know what to warn your child against. . .anyone "claiming" to play some kind of "Game" w/ them is NOT to be trusted!! It's important to stress to your child even if he was told "NOT TO TELL",they shud tell you & you wont be angry w/ them. . . |

~I did a One day Course In Child Protection & wud like to Raise awareness about some of the things i learned that as a parent i wasnt aware of. . some of them i found out to be alarming to say the least!! ~I would very much like to share ways/things to look out for in protecting your Siblings/Children/Neices/ Nephews. . . .As Parents or Careers,You want to protect your child's innocence by not dicussing certain things/details with them. . .but in this day of our Lord,it is absolutely vital & essential we open communication channels & have these conversation w/ our children hard as it may be!! As the saying goes Better safe than Sorry! ~I'll post in segments so the post dont come up as a Spam message! |

FL Gators:~A ha! Old People!? ~I've ben using it since i was 16/17 yrs old . . .absolutely love it!! ~BTW I finally test sprayed Halle . .I'm still indecisive. . Me son test sprayed another perfume on the same wrist i had "Halle" on so the scents got mixed up. . .the whiff i had of the top note about 5/10 mins after smelt a lil bit too woody for my liking. . will have to test it again! |

~Good Job! I love the Eyeshadow colours used. . . The Brown Eyebrow filler Suits the Model too. . . ~I Like natural & proportional shaped brows. . . .I Love filling in my Brows too. . .Not always tho. . . ~I cudnt agree more on filling the brows correctly takes time and practice I had a few false starts w/ pencling in the entire brow. . .Gave me an unatural look. . . i kept at tho till i perfected the strokes of the brush/filler. . . . ~Loads of Tutorial vids on Youtube. . ~Ever thought of doing Tutorial vids & uploading on Youtube epstich? My M8 shared hers w/ me. . .I grilled some meat & sprinkled it on it. . My! My! just Scrumptious! ~I aint even going to pretend i'm going to attempt making it ~The Suya back home isnt put on skewers. .I also noticed your suya already have the suya pepper on it on the skewers. . back home,the suya is only added on the meat after it's sliced. . . they are sliced larger than pic tho. . . the onions is optional. . yours look more like shish kebab. . . ~In Conakry Guinea they add mayo on their suya. . . |
