There was no waitlist for 2017/18 set; but their is for this set, I think NLNG is sticking to designated budget and planning (remember they no dey do things anyhow, like throwing funds everywhere without planning and intent)...

Training is possibly In UK, also possibly in Nigeria, i think the decision is not yet concrete, but initial plan was UK...

Location not Aberdeen but 'TTE in Middlesbrough' instead and to reside in Hartlepool or Middlesbrough, if its UK in the first place...

Make we no over work ourselves, so far as the congratulatory mail came in, your life don change, dont be in a hurry or anxious say everywhere just quiet lol, (timing and perfection) wherever the training takes place...in the future, you can decide to fly yourself to UK or anywhere and still enjoy your money shikina...

I just heard that this recruitment is not even for TRAIN 7 but to fill in the gap of some staff in TRAIN 1-6 that are retiring and some that are going for training abroad.
If they can employ as many as 120, how much more would they employ for TRAIN 7.
May the God of Abraham,the dominion of the seven heavens and earths, bless those that didn't make it this time so that they will be part of the TEAM of TRAIN 7.

Medical mails for those in proximity to Kaduna has dropped....

Medicals slated for Friday the 29th of April 2022...

Congratulations to them as Lagos hopefuls await theirs...

Also waitlisted candidates are still hoping and praying for it to get to their turn

I have one. During the 2014/2015 experienced hire recruitment; some folks were waitlisted for 18months after the interview around April 2015. By October of same here, they received their medical mails; exactly 6months after they received their waitlisted mails.

They've done this before and it ended well. So, be positive!

It seems no any genuine explanation about this wait list of a thing. Let's hope and pray we get absorbed before end of this year.

"The waitlist thing is a very safe way of saying that due to financial constraints, those originally approved to move to the next stage may have to wait in the hope that the updated business plan changes when economic drivers favor a bigger budget.

It was the only way NLNG could tell those who made it initially that we cant take you now with out compromising on their integrity. They could also have said you failed and risk someone finding out that these candidates where actually approved for the next stage. In that case casting doubt on the whole process. I really do hope things change for the better, the economic forecast is sunny skies with a little showers for those waitlisted."

From what I saw in d 2013-2017 recruitment on nairaland, d wait listed were not called although they were just given less than 2 months notice...
in 2017, nothing much was said about d wait listed sha....so d question is y d wait list??

In 2017 recruitment, there wasn't any wait listed. 41 were picked after the interview and were all absorbed though one of them died before their trip to UK.

Does it say congratulations or it's just a request to verify your HND certificate. Does it mean that those didn't receive do not have any Issues with their certificate and so don't need verification?. Did they refer to your success at the just concluded interview? It's quite confusing though. But congratulations once again but for those that did not receive just relax God is in control.

That was what they told us during the interview. May be this week or next. Our only prayer is to be favoured by the most high no matter how long it will take.

Exactly what happen to me. The last guy fire a question that I should tell them a situation when I was creative and Innovative and was able to profer solution to a lingering issue. It was really unexpected but I gave them the best answer I could think of. Chemical

Where do they do the medicals and what are the requirements?

They will book a Hospital for you in the state you are residing . That is why they will call and confirm your location at that point in time.
