You think we don't know why we delayed your the item you bought through fraudulent means, it's people like you that hide behind computer screens and steal from innocent people and you end up giving Nigerians abroad bad name. If you want a carrier that will ship your stolen items that will never be us. bizzle*: I have had my share of disappointments and poor service frm shipping and cargo comps in Nigeria/U.S but xpedited shipping jst takes the cake. using them for the first time and This is literally the worst, I mean very worst xperience ive ever had. contacted them on the 5th of april, had my frnd drop off ma package on Saturday 6th of april, sat back and relaxed thinking my package would arrive in a week like I ws promised..I ws told the package would leave the U.S. the following Tuesday ( in 3 days) as u cn see in the munched chat below, after the tuesday I snt a mssg requesting to knw if the package was out of the U.S. my mssg ws read and ignored, the next day I asked again, no reply. I called their listed numb my calls went unreturned. I had to call up my frnd who nw gave me the numb of their Nig contact, called their contact and he was clueless, he in turn gave me the numb of their agent. been calling their agent and all I have heard is " I don't have anything on ground now" This is the third week and counting and these ppl haven't as much as told me if my package has been shipped, talk less of possible pickup date. a package they promised to deliver in a week. there's no NAHCO strike or whatever so i'm absolutely bewildered at this level of incompetence. They are unresponsive, unapologetic and absolutely unprofessional. I'm seriously thinking of what to do to these ppl
Do not try expedited shipping if you value your Time or Goods!!! |

Thank you for the post at least you got your goods intact unlike the thief that started this post, This guy bought items with fraudulent credit card, we asked for proof of credit card ownership which they didn't provide so we delayed the items and later sent them back to the merchant this are Nigerians that give hard working Nigerians bad names abroad. You steal from innocent people and you expect us to be your carrier no we won't do that find your shipping company far away. globalaid: am suprised xpedited is behaving this way, i used them around january 26th and my goods did not delay, the shipping and clearing is just only one week, though i have been calling them since 4 days now without a reply dont know why they are not picking up their phone. What our people lack is consistency. |

One of our customers directed me to your post, the funny thing is I don't even remember you again and I try as much as I can to keep in touch with all my customers, I like your post about my company I'm sure you shipped with us when I just opened the business. Well you need to take a look at us now I have a bigger office, a bigger warehouse and 10 employees. All because of people like you I'm glad you told the world there goods are safe with us for that I say a big THANK YOU but as for us been slow at shipping try us now DHL is our carrier now by air and Grimaldi by ocean you won't be dissapointed. Thank you again. kcatetra: Well i decided to share ma own experiences. I am also a business man and ship in all sorts ranging from phone cases to laptops. Neva done a car or container shipping tho, strictly airfreight
IMPEX: ive used them, they are quite reliable, always ship out on thursdays. Problems arise in Nigeria when they try to clear. I have dis feeling they land in mayb Togo or Ghana and drive the goods down to Lagos, i may be wrong but their delivery time of about a week is fair enuf. Note they only ship out on thursdays last i checked.
XPEDITED: ah, my very good friends. they are quite reliable, do free pickup for me in NY from a friend. tho the three times i used them, my shipment neva came on time. sheduled delivery is 2-3 weeks except u were lucky enuf to get ur items to them just two days b4 they have agglomerated enuf to ship out. i believe low customers is their main issue but a good customer care (the first shipment was sent free due to the delay) helps a lot. would def use again for less priority parcels
ALLWORLD: currently in test phase. i have sent them my package, was delayed due to easter holidays. got an invoice for about $212 (with a ps3 and a laptop in it coupled with about 6 shoe boxes and a lot of other electronics) which i think is fair. cheapest price per lb out there ($3.12), wonderful customer care in a certain DJ chap. wat else can i say? all i hope is that i get a call to pickup by say monday/tuesday and i wud give them a stellar performance.
The truth is that no freight forwarder is gonna ship out only ur items if its less than say 50kg, they need to agglomerate. as such, u need to find a company that has customers, yet no figure on its minimum shipping weight. Allworld and Xpedited kill it for me (IMPEX has a 5lbs minimum weight). Corporate Messengers is also a nice company, ive heard reviews, neva used them. would probably try them if Allworld screw me over (which i heavily doubt)
All in all i think ma preference is
Allworld - Xpedited - Impex/Corporate Messengers (cos of their minimum policy)
U should also know Nigerian customs are asses! one week NAHCO & FAAN were arguing about new policies so shut down the airport!! stuff like this creates delays and ur companies can only say 'we are sorry, the goods have been delayed for some reason' u have to be patient. i have neva lost any goods via Xpedited or Impex we thank God. U can consider all these companies locations too, if u have a friend in say NY, Allworld and Xpedited wud be splendid. NJ residents wud use IMPEX. for other state capitals, try Corporate Messengers as they have quite a branch network.
Hope this helps. |

If you and your guys think I will ship the things you bought in a fraudulent way you have other things coming for you, have your so called EFCC uncle call the CIA and let them come to my office. It's people like you that give Nigerians abroad bad names. Or post the number or contact of your EFCC uncle I'll call him right now. |

I don't know why we Nigerians want to hurt each other since we advertised our business on Nairaland. We've been receiving goods that some fraudulent Nigerians obtained in fraudulent manner to the extent that the CIA fraud unit came knocking on our doors. If you send us items you obtain fraudulently we will send your IP address and phone # to EFCC as advised by the CIA fraud unit. If you're shipping by air which is 48 hours to Nigeria, it's $3.80 per pound and you don't pay anything in Nigeria. If you have a large volume the price goes down a lot depending on the volume. If it's by ocean that's the cheapest a big bag is like $40.00 and barrels are $150.00 but ocean shipment take 30 days give or take. www.xpeditedshipping.com
