yay! I went to boarding sch n can totally relate except that food part. my sch never joked with food o. the day we were served sliced bread cos our bakery had a problem,our principal came to personally apologise. Sunday meals consisted of jollof rice,boiled egg,chicken n tea after service n bread n moi moi for dinner. it was great. my kids must go to boarding sch n learn how to be independent.

Adichie is intelligent, but there is no comparison at all. Achebe is the grand master. Those talking about contemporary writing probably never read no longer at ease. I don't even see Adichie Is not a creative writer..

i tell u or anthills of the savannah....adichie writes like a modern woman trying to balance modernization with cultures n beliefs. Achebe wrote like a man in tune with his culture.

i have read most if not all of Achebes books and about 3 of chimamandas books and i say there is no basis for comparism. Achebe is simply in a class of his own. His book 'things fall apart' is something else. something no other person has been able to come close to. i cant begin to list here. chimamanda is good but Achebe was a master.

the shirt still looks new. we still have some printed tshirts left over from my g.fathers burial in 2013 that have never been opened or worn so its probably the same thing.

id just advise you to stop seeing dating as a competition because from what you wrote,you dont want him to laugh at you or win you. if you want to date someone new,date him because you want to n not because you want it to pepper your ex. thats childish. right now,i dont think you need to be dating anyone yet,ure obviously still hurting and anybody u date now will suffer for it. just take life in stride,sometimes the best things in life happen when we least expect.

inasmuch as I like the two musicians,I prefer pantorankings voice. his voice is unique,husky with a blend of smoky flavour,his style of music is also dope. pantoranking all the way!
