@ ivynwa there is nothing run-cy abt visas gotten from and in this thread,all here r genuine students who which to either further or get their ist degree from reputable institutions,even if the consular general of the canadian embassy visits this thread,he wld be impressed on how much we r both helpin ourselves and helpin prospective students,if nt for d condition of nigeria,we aren't supposed 2 be tensed ,if u apply and u r genuine and convincin enuf,u r given,what of americans dat let's say go study in canada or europe?is it "runs" 2.na ungenuine visa with fake documents be "runs",this isn't en.I love this thread,many informations I got here,I know so much already even though I have nt touched down calgary yet,if it wants 2 come out in d pages of any news papers,pls it shld,it will help others 2.u know how much they r benefitin from nigerian students?make we come dey hide?abeg jor

@obytrix,thanx a lot.when I got my admission leta in may it was stated there that I have 2 pay all my ist year tuition fee on or before ist of august,is sait polytechnic,since I have d money I decided 2 pay $8000 ist,nw I have just 10days more b4 I pay I complete it,and still notin from the embassy,I didn't know d process takes this long,I was determined 2 do it myself cuz I didn't want 2 use an agency,it was after spendin so much I started readin dat it takes 3mnts or more.can I send d receipt thru dhl,or sometin,just anytin 2 get them 2 respond.hav seen ppl complainin of 4mnts,if they wnt respond I can defer my admission till january so I dnt put myself under pressure of fees and all,wish I knew beta truly.is almost annoying

I thank God for bumping into this thread,,have applied 2 study GIS in canada,though I got my ist degree 5yrs ago at a very young age,have paid almost all my tution and just yestd transfered my hostel accommodation to the school,I ist applied in may and was asked 2 bring more documents in june,since on the 6th of june dat i submitted the documents I havnt heard anytin from the embassy,no medicals nothing,my school resumes in september,d wait is killing me.I virtually stand outside my house 2 wait for DHL,shld I contact d embassy abt the $3000 I just paid for d hostel accommodation?am supposed 2 pay d remaining $4000 for my tuition fee on or b4 august,shld I?I was so happy 2 read dat am not the only one in such a situation,i just nid someone 2 tell me it is well.I was thinkin of going 2 d embassy at anifowoshe but my brother advised I wait,do I still have time?what do I do?thanx all for ur response,nice thread.
