Jobs/Vacancies / Relocating To Nigeria by monie(f): 7:30am On Jul 17, 2018
My hubby is seriously considering relocating to Nigeria.
He has been abroad for 15yrs, he has worked in top companies in Uk and Canada. 8yrs in the uk and 7yrs in canada.
Please this post is not to tell us the pros and cons, and he is fully aware.
i tried asking google for the top recruitment agencies in nigeria but nothing detailed.
We do not know any oga at the top so i am trying to help him here.
does anyone know any top recruitment agencies in Nigeria for expatriate (s)
he is an IT GURU
anything will be highly apprecicated

P.S
He said in his own words, if you can help him get a good job in naija. He can help you relocate to Canada smiley
Had to quickly edit
he has a solid business plan, the job is to not run financially bankrupt while making his moves
also to understand how Nigerians work, he has never worked in Nigeria before. he feels like a job will make him understand better how to run his.

@ all my beautiful mama's, am extremely glad am pregnant. Is my 2nd baby and after my first baby I had severe waist pain that didn't go away early. Now the pain is back,am constantly feeling uneasy 24hrs of the day. I now go for massage every 2wks (thank God for insurance) but it doesn't help at all. Imagine how much pain I will be in, in my 3rd trimester. I also work. I look at myself in the mirror and just laugh this days. What else can I do. Everything else is perfect except the waist pain. I am counting down to Feb, been counting since June sef lol. Can't wait to hold my baby sha. And thanks all for your concern,I honestly appreciate. Is thanksgiving day in Canada. And am thanking God for blessing our wombs, for this privilege is pretigious.

Canada ?where there are prostitutes up and down. They call themselves escorts. Please standard of life in Nigeria and Canada are almost the same[/quote

At least they have their jobs defined which is exports, they r known for it, they dnt deny it and r proudly excorts.
But in nigeria 8 out of 10 girls r now excorts, or prostitutes or runs girls or just depending on men for money.
And when u say standard of life in nigeria and canada r almost thesame, am not even going to have that argument cause I dnt want to derail from topic and no comparisms

I have lived in 2 continents, lived in nigeria for 20 something years before living for canada abt 3yrs ago. The difference is clear, first of all there is contentment here, u dnt see poverty steering at u in d face, u dnt see ppl unemployed for months, I live in calgary where there is 2% unemployment, if u loose ur job u file for unemployment benefit where half of your former salary is given to u monthly until u can get another job.

Now let me come to topic, is plain prostitution, when I see my friends who do not work and havnt worked since they left school uploading pics of cars and BlackBerry and bags and shoes, it just breaks my heart. They call it runs, what is runs? I went last year for 3mnts (needed the long vacation) and kinda knew why it is this bad.

It is poverty, orientation from day one, peer pressure, environment. When I was in school in nigeria I had to look good everyday, my mum spent money on my clothes and I had sisters(4) so I dressed well. When I came here to school I saw that some of my classmates wore one shirt for a week, they dnt have that time. And they performed so well I had to ditch the gaging mentality and face my studies squarely. I mean if I am dressing well and having B+ and someone doesn't and is having A+ who wld look at me?

Sadly it wnt end, sometime later someone will raise this topic again,as long as there is unemployment in Nigeria and I better pass u mentality and poverty and no middle class this(runs) will be the order of the day.

That's what I think

The woman wasn't selling on the streets or pavement, she was waiting for a bus to take her home. She sells the stuff at home, and the government deperate to make an example outa her didn't even consider her. She even said we normally wait for buses here. To say am angry is stating the obvious, people are suffering and have their own problems, and the government makes it worst everyday. This isn't the first time something like this is happening, I have witnessed countless cruelty from his boys, now him? Gosh

Nigerians una get bad mouth ooooo shuo! Let me say this,I was a nigerian living in nigeria until 2011 when I relocated to canada, am currently in nigeria visiting my parents and I must say nigeria is dirt, nothing else to describe it. This is a country where currently a 15yrs old boy took off from benin thinking plane was going to the US, because of desperation. Would we ever see an american,or canadian, or european, even a chinese boy do that?
This is also a country where a teacher of 20yrs cldnt read her own sworn affidavit. And people will come here and start defending nigeria? Seriously?

Funny enough when ever I come here to reveal my location in threads like this where people argue about nigeria and diaspora, I get thones of msgs the next day from same nigerians based in nigeria(defending nigeri here)y asking me how they can come to canada? When will we ever tell ourselves the truth?

Thank God am not going to spend the better part of my life living in this shithole.

@ all, seems like we are all going through something this week. Well I have good news, cuz am counting it all joy. I went for my 36wks appointment and was told to go for a scan,my bp was very high also, I was told my baby is 4pounds, and they have to induce me immediately as my bp was affecting him. I called my hubby,2hrs later I was in labour after they broke my water, my labour was fast thank goodness,I reacted badly to the epidural,it didn't work(labour is so painful good lord)
After 5hrs and 3 painful push my boy came out crying and screaming, he is doing fine,in NICU. Breathing on its own and trying to eat.
I will be discharged today, but I and hubby live close to the hosp thank God. They said a few days time he will be discharged. He is so hairy, can't wait to start weaving his hair. Thanks to all and I wanna encourage those who lost their babies, God is on the throne. It is very well.

Hello all, just discovered this thread now, first of all congrats to all the baby mommas, am so excited for u guys. Am 24weeks pregnant with my first child, the pregnancy came as a surprise and a miracle cause one of my ovaries was removed after I suffered severe ectopic pregnancy in 2010, and I was told the other ovary had 50% chance of producing eggs, so when I and hubby moved to canada, I was planning to start treatment January this year as I was a full time student, but in august God shocked us with pregnancy news, I couldn't believe it.

The first trimester was terrible, and I was asked by the doctors here to eat crackers, it didn't work though, I had to bear it. In my 16th week I was so strong I couldnt believe it. Now is back aches, tiredness cuz am usually always strong. Can't even jump around and play as I used to, is all good though. Am so waiting and ready for April, can't wait. I still spit, battling mucus in my throat, I buy bitter cola from African store, is a life saver I swear.

I still havnt started my anti natal, which is always different from where u register for delivery and check ups, is freezing. Today is -17, I just wanna be home all the time. Have checked out like 3, havnt fully decided yet which to attend. Will be updating and keeping in touch with all my pregnant sisters, as I wasn't even allowed to register for any course this January cause according to them I wnt be fully committed. So in other words am jobless till april. Take care sisters, may we all have the safest delivery ever.

Travel / Re: The Truth About Living Abroad by monie(f): 9:22pm On Dec 14, 2012
I am a Nigerian living abroad, infact I and my fiancé came to Canada this year, we r married now, he was in the uk for 7yrs, acquired so many certificates but couldn't get an IT job in uk, I was in Nigeria and was working but didn't like my job much either, so we both decided to relocate to Canada, thank God my student visa as well as his permanent residence both worked. Since we both came here in January and February respectively I have been a full time student while he has been working in his profession. Since he came he has worked in like 4 different companies, with each offering him higher than the previous, we are counting our blessings here cause is been so good. We r married now, living very well, having enough to save and send home sometimes even though he is the only one working for now. I tried looking for a job for him in Nigeria but to no avail, I am not saying Nigeria isn't good but maybe it just wasn't for us. Cause he has good results, all cisco certifications, masters, name yet in Nigeria and uk it wasn't working out. As for me and my household Canada, Calgary Canada has been really really really good for us.

Am studying in Canada, and am the only one using blackberry in my class, I am so wanting to switch to iPhone cuz of FaceTime where I can see my siblings talking to them for free but for where, they are not ready to switch phones yet cuz in Nigeria blackberry is the "in thing". No one uses blackberry here, and then ppl started talking about blackberry porche, no advert, or talks, infact no one talks about it.
