He said El-Rufai is a mucous that could be mistaken for a vanilla ice cream, a heap of excrement people may mistake for a bar of chocolate.

Sani said the governor once licked the anus and sniffed the farts of Olusegun Obasanjo and Abubakar Atiku to prove his loyalty but now doing so for Baba.

He called El-Rufai an accidental governor permanently consigning his state in the emergency ward of pervasive insecurity, a man with a perfidious history and patented habit of kneeling down to blow the organs of his masters to prove his fidelity.

On Edo State APC Governorship campaign FLAG OFF yesterday - my take

The APC Governorship candidate Obaseki suddenly developed a cold feet when he was asked to read in public.

The APC governorship candidate suddenly began to stammer, the 13 pages speech book almost fell from his hand.

Making repeated blunder, with his hands nd foot shaking like a man suffering from Parkison disease.

Rushing to read through the overwhelming task. He quoted Thomas Paine wrongly.

Suffering from more confusion nd not knowing the right word to use...he said " when u want to teach a fish how to fish" he made several attempts to correct himself but to no avail.

He hurriedly drop the mic nd ran back to his sit.

Obaseki is unprepared for governance and is a disaster waiting waiting to happen but Edolites are wise,

Read a brief summary of Pastor Ize Iyamu's manifesto called "Simple Agenda" the small hand out is the most read material right now all across Edo State Edo State....

[b] "Beneficial development does not occur by chance or happenstance but through conscious roadmaps initiated by that leader armed with foresight and the will to make a meaningful impact on and difference in the living standard of his people.
The chicken-hearted dare not dare to chart new trajectories for fear of failure and disappointment. He thinks it is impossible if it has not been attempted or tested before.
Virgin areas that will impact positively on the lives of the people are considered anathema either for fear of stumbling or outright as a misadventure. In many instances, the corruption-prone leader thinks of the opportunity cost of deploying state funds meant for sustainable development to watering private and self-serving motives and setting in motion inaction, retrogression and inertia in the core areas of people-focused development.
In other instances, the leader is confronted with a myriad of daunting issues of stunted development; entrenched and fossilised political interests that stall government business or sabotage it or both.
In the midst of this milieu that could have dissuaded a lily-livered leader, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has set out to, clinically, implement his charter of sustainable development to take Edo State out of the doldrums of failed “mega projects; inflated “mega” projects; inflated “legacy” projects,” poorly-finished projects and undelivered “messianic” promises premised on those policies, programmes and projects that would have impacted positively on Edo people if handed conscientiously and commitment.
Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s vision of meaningful development is woven around a matrix of Irreducible Minimum Objectives and Standards, Core Strategies and Success Indicators and Strict Policies, Programmes and Projects Conception, Implementation and Monitoring, that is encapsulated in his “SIMPLE Agenda”, a compendium of his vision and hope for a Greater Edo State.
The SIMPLE Agenda, as espoused by Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the front running governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is defined as S = Security and Social Welfare; I = Infrastructure Development/Urban Renewal; M = Manpower Development and Training; P = Public/Private Partnership (PPP); L = Leadership by Example and E = Employment Creation and Social Empowerment Scheme.
The revolutionary working programme is built on a foundation that the pastor has consistently strengthened by his assurance that the people of Edo State and by extension, the country at large, should hold him responsible and vicariously liable for the implementation of the contents of his “Simple Agenda”, if elected as governor on September 10, 2016. At a recent interactive forum in Lagos, he emphasised that “I want to assure you that I mean well”. Yes, he means well, given his robust enthusiasm to take Edo State to Greater Heights. His SIMPLE agenda is anchored on security/social welfare, infrastructure development/urban renewal, manpower development and training, public/private partnership, leadership and employment.
The foregoing and other core issues not listed here are woven around the foundation of the solid truth, consistency, accountability, care and above all, the fear of God, enshrined in the SIMPLE Agenda, as propounded by Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to power the new era of good governance that he will usher in on November 12, 2016, in Edo State. He will open up spaces hitherto hidden from the people and provide a human face that is dedicated to the overall welfare and of the people. He will work together with the people with renewed vigour, tenacity of purpose for the benefit of all, without bias.
Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s desire to serve the good and hardworking people of Edo State is predicated on mutual trust, mutual cooperation and the belief that the people’s mandate is a sacred endowment that must be used, primarily, for the uplift of their welfare and general living standard.
That is the SIMPLE Agenda.

The APC Governorship Candidate, Godwin Obaseki on his own part as at last Friday has not presented any manifesto .He has not told Edo people what he wants to do for them.

The Same Godwin Obaseki yesterday at Ogbe Stadium in Benin city durring his rally promised go create 200, 000 thousand jobs in Edo state...Oshiomole his God father can not create common 10,000 jobs in Edo State during his 8 years. Obaseki and Oshiomole think Edolites are fool.....September 10 is already by the corner, we are waiting for them at the polls with our PVCs.

The same APC candidate OBASEKI was stammering and shaking throughout his speech yesterday, he was busy reading his manifesto from a political science text book, go n and watch the video of yesterday's APC rally. The Obaseki of a guy was just shaking, he couldn't outline his manifesto from his head, he had to resort to using a politcial science text book.....I repeat go back n watch yesterday APC rally and what what Obaseki disgrace him self and his APC supporters.

PoliticsEdo 2016: All 35 Kings (Enigie) Of Esan Land Endorse Pastor Ize Iyamu Of The PDP by Monimatic(op): 12:39pm On Jul 17, 2016
All the Enigies of Esanland, otherwise called Edo Central Senatorial District, Saturday, in an unprecedented political gathering, received the PDP candidate and his deputy, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and Hon John Yakubu, at the palace of the Ojuromi of Uromi, HRM Zaiki Aidenojie.

Present at the palace of the first class monarch, were the Enigie of Irrua, Igueben, Ekpoma, Ubiaja, Uromi. Others are Ewu, Ewossa, Ewatto, Urohi, Ebelle, Uzea, Egoro, Idoa, Udo, Okhodua, Ujogba, Ogwa, Ekpon and others.

The PDP chairman lamented that the Esan has been totally neglected the Esan people. He stated the APC has not appointed an Esan person into any position of significance. He said that the only position which they struggled on their own to attain was the speakership of the House of Assembly but the APC took it away on the instruction of Adams Oshiomhole.

The PDP chairman stated that the PDP decided to choose their deputy governor from Esanland as a gesture to begin the healing and reintegration process for the Esan people to redress the injustice of the past perpetrated by the APC and Oshiomhole.

Responding, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu thanked the Esan monarchs for the rare honour done to him. He praised Esan land for their high regard for tradition and culture. He lamented the total neglect of the district by Adams Oshiomhole even at a period when the state received very high allocation, ten times higher than precious administrations.

“Education and agriculture are some of the brands of Esanland. 2008 till now, the APC government of Adams Oshiomhole totally neglected the Ambrose Alli University. Oshiomhole has done everything to destroy whatever was left in Esanland.”

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu lamented how the right of Esanland to have a Speaker was denied by Adams Oshiomhole. Also how Adams Oshiomhole removed the Head of Service because he was an Esan person. He also said that the worst insult to the Esan people was the APC choice of deputy governor candidate outside Esanland. He said the Esan people should stop supporting those who have no regard for the Esan people, he promised to develop Edo state and restore justice and equity to the state.

“What the government of Edo state has spent in Esanland is 8% of the budget. For the government to spend eight percent in a senatorial district that is one of the three districts of Esanland is the apogee of insult to the Esan people. I have seen schools being commissioned, I have not seen a laboratory. I will build and commission schools with laboratories and libraries when we come on board. We shall create special markets in Esanland including a spare parts market. My deputy John Yakubu shall not be a spare tyre but a co-pilot”. Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu said.

The deputy governor candidate, who spoke in Esan, thanked the PDP leaders for zoning the number two citizen to Esan. He lamented the hatred that Adams Oshiomhole has for the Esan people. He pleaded with the traditional rulers to give total support for the PDP also as a way of appreciating the party for treating the Esan people with dignity and respect.

The PDP national leader Chief Tony Anenih thanked the Esan monarchs for giving him a title that he is proud of, the Iyasele of Esanland. He introduced Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to the monarchs describing him as “a man whom I have studied over the years. He is a man who says in the morning and it is yes in the afternoon and yes in the evening. He is a man of God. His Excellency in waiting, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. Yakubu his deputy is a man who is known everywhere and the only one whom Oshiomhole could not buy.” Chief Tony Anenih said.

Speaking on behalf of the Royal father’s in Esanland, His Royal Majesty, Aidonojie, Ojuromi of Uromi, welcome the PDP leaders and their train to Esanland. He congratulated the PDP candidate on his victory at the PDP primaries. He said that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has direct relationship with virtually all the enigie of Esanland. He said that

“Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is son of the former Esogban of Benin kingdom without blemish. Your father did not betray the palace. We trust you that you will not betray us. Esan nation are part and parcel of this state. We the people of Esan are very unhappy at the relegation of the Esan people in the state. When you become Governor of Edo state we urge you to correct the ills committed against us. We are very happy that you took one of our sons and we will say thank you to you, not just by words of mouth, we will use our PVCs.” The Ojuromi of Irrua.

The Onoje of Ujogba said that the Edo central will give the PDP 90 of their votes, lamenting the total neglect of the Esan people. Noting that there are no teachers in schools, no development, and total neglect.

High point of the ocassion was the prayer for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu by the Onojie of Igueben accompanied by all the monarchs of Esanland, who prayed that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to win the election.

Dignitaries in the train of the PDP included Chief Tony Anenih, Chief Tom Ikimi, Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, Senator Clifford Ordia, Senator Matthew Urhoghide, Hon Friday Itulah, Chief Okosodo Okoh, and others.

PoliticsBuhari Not Sound In Economy, Foreign Affairs —obasanjo by Monimatic(op): 5:21pm On May 14, 2016
grin grin grin grin

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says President Muhammadu Buhari may not do well in economy and foreign affairs, except in military matters.

“Buhari is not a very hot person on the economy and foreign affairs,” Obasanjo said.

The former President stated this on Monday at the third International Conference on African Development Issues — themed, “Driving inclusive and sustainable development in Africa: Models, methods and policies” — organised by Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State.

While reacting to a question posed to him by a member of the audience: “Is there any hope for Nigeria under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari?”, Obasanjo replied, “Is there any hope for Nigeria under this administration? I came back from Geneva, Switzerland a few days ago to attend a conference titled, ‘Are elections giving democracy a bad name?’ We had an election, we elected a leader and the good thing about democracy is that the power you have to elect a leader is also the power you have to remove him. I am saying this because I said earlier that if you don’t see any leader that has done well in the 56 years of Nigeria’s independence, then let us forget about Nigeria.

“I will tell you what I know and I will tell you what I don’t know. I know Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. He served under me in the military. His characteristics that I know, his behaviour that I know, he has not deviated from them. He was never a perfect man, he is not a perfect man and no leader can ever be a perfect man because they are human beings. But if you read my book, what I said about him is correct. He is not a hot person when it comes to economy. He is not a very hot person when it comes to foreign affairs. But he will do well in matters of military and he will do well in fighting Boko Haram.”

The former president also said he tried his best in fighting corruption, especially in the recovery of funds looted by the late Gen. Sani Abacha and that as of the time he left the government, about $1bn was still to be recovered.

Obasanjo said, “For me, we have no hope if we have no future. I am an optimist as far as Nigeria is concerned. If somebody doesn’t get it all right for now, we will get somebody who will come up and fix whatever is missing. The administration before this had no clue on how to deal with Boko Haram, there is no doubt about that.

“You may not like the way he (Buhari) is fighting corruption. I fought corruption. We recovered over $1.25bn from Abacha and his men. We didn’t make noise. Also, we recovered £100m and about N30m and those who were helping us, the lawyers and the rest said there was still at least $1bn to be recovered at that time. I put it in my handover notes. But rather than encourage scrupulous persons, we had another spate of corruption.”

Obasanjo added that fighting corruption would not be effective if it did not translate to better life for the citizens.

He said, “Fighting corruption is not a one-day or a one-regime affair. If where we left it, they continued, we would have gone far. For me, the questions are: Is corruption being fought? And if it is being fought, is it being effectively fought? Are we getting the desired results? And if we are getting the desired results, what impact is it having on our society and on our nation?”

Other speakers at the event included Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Prof. Joy Ogwu, and the Associate Vice-President, Research, McMaster University, Canada, Prof. Bonny Ibhawoh.

They both said if Africa was to experience any development, leaders must match their words or policies with action.
