UnstoppableOla:Thanks man. |
ifyalways:Yes cape town is indeed a beautiful and busy place but the truth be told, the crime rate in that City is quite high(read more about the crime rate online) Even ıraq and Afghanistan are now hub for drug production and distribution to Asia, and anywhere this is happening the crime rate would be really high. |
sisipelebe:Yes and true, one of the places I fear most is Mexico (although not all parts of Mexico) the murder rate and gang activities and fighting for territorial control is just too much, they even kill students like chickens if you watch Aljazeera new regularly you will understand better. |
PEPPERified:Lol, i believe Maiduguri is still safe compared to these places mentioned.... |
2. Guatemala City, Guatemala Given that Guatemala borders El Salvador, Honduras and Mexico – Guatemala City shares almost the same troubles as its neighbors. Even though the city has tons of history and culture, it should definitely stay on everyone’s don’t-visit list; even the bravest tourists seem to be frightened away. Poverty, gang problems, drug trafficking have civilians in despair and there seems to be no answer so far as to how to handle it. This city is big, dirty and dangerous, and still ‘Guate’ has its charming chaos, color and contradictions. Just go prepared and alert and maybe you’ll get rid of all negative stereotypes. 1. Cali, Colombia Depending on a good or bad year, Cali ranks either as the most dangerous, or as the 2nd most dangerous city in the country. That much violence is a result of the drug trafficking cartels that are fighting with each other. The world’s capital of salsa is Colombia’s scariest city. You are most likely to get shot on the dance floor here. Better stay vigilant, avoid showing off your expensive jewelry or gadgets and don’t wander alone at night. Better safe than sorry. Happy traveling! source: http://tomvoyage.com/10-of-the-most-dangerous-cities-to-travel-to/

6. San Salvador, El Salvador Violence and crime are major issues throughout the country; the current murder rate here is among the highest in the world. The largest city of El Salvador is notorious for gang problems. It seems as though violence has penetrated into the city. Powerful gangs rule here and civilians have to live in the crossfire of constant gang wars. Many refugees have left the country hoping to find a relief from constant fear, violence and poverty gripping the country. The Drug War hasn’t done this country any good as well. It is obvious now, that this is a location you’ll want to stray away from. 5. Kabul, Afghanistan It seems as if a mixture of everything bad that could happen to the city was injected into the capital of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Hell broke loose here, not that you need many reasons not to travel to Kabul, and still: economic and political instability, poverty, terrorist bombings, kidnappings, homicides, violence and other petty crimes. Add that to the rise of ISIS, along with growing tensions in Iran, not to mention that the nation is still involved in the post 9/11 War, and here we go – Afghanistan is scratched-off the go-to list. 4. Caracas, Venezuela Caracas is notorious for three things: being the capital of Venezuela, drugs and murders. Street attacks and gangs have taken over the whole city. Constant battles between drug dealers’ gangs make the streets of Caracas the ideal setting for shootings, robberies, rapes, and kidnappings. Venezuela got itself into a deeply-troubled economic time. And all government’s attempts to get the struggling nation to its feet again are dong more harm than good. As a result, the poverty level is so high that people have nothing left but committing crimes. So if you happen to be in South America, consider skipping Caracas. 3. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Don’t be tricked by the Summer Olympics set for Rio this year – the city is done for. Travelers might easily get in trouble as violence is still very much on display. But whilst homicide rate has decreased in recent years, robberies, muggings and street crimes have actually increased. And yet, colorful Rio stays the most popular tourist destination in the country. But the good news is- you’re more likely to get your gadgets or money taken, than you are at getting yourself killed. So try not to show off your valuables and keep your money close-by and out of reach.

10. Cape Town, South Africa Despite being a popular holiday destination and one of the most beautiful places to visit, Cape Town is also the most violent city on the continent. It is prone to gang fighting and robbery attacks. The crime rate here is alarming. While being a very multicultural city with a rather violent history, it does have its scary parts. Tourist areas are normally out of harm’s way, so make sure not to stray from them while visiting Cape Town. It’s essential to be familiar with all the potential risks and do whatever it’s needed to minimize those risks, and hopefully you’ll be able to have a good time in the country. 9. San Pedro Sula, Honduras Even though Honduras is considered one of the cheapest countries to travel to, you’d better avoid long stays at San Pedro Sula. Notorious for being at the top of every world’s most dangerous cities, it is called the ‘murder capital of the world.’ Sand Pedro Sula has the highest murder rate per capita considering that the place is not even a war zone. Poverty and poor living conditions, gangs and violence, drug, arms and people trafficking, corruption: all these alarming issues should make you think twice whether to go here or not. So be prepared, alert, street-smart and aware of all the difficulties and dangers that may await you. 8. Baghdad, Iraq Travelers are not safe going to Baghdad at this point. Even though it’s one of the oldest cities in the world and has a bunch of tourist attractions, all these years of constant warfare have destroyed its infrastructure and economy. The level of violence remains high, and the risk of attack has not quite been eliminated. Attacks frequently take place in venues of public gathering such as cafes, markets or other public places. You have to be aware though, that gunfire, bombings, kidnappings, terrorist activity and other kinds of danger are still present in surrounding areas and the city itself. 7. Acapulco, Mexico With the variety of Mexican famous spots to visit, Acapulco is one of the most violent places on our list that travelers can easily avoid. The city has been on every tourist’s bucket-list for years, it was a place filled with people, thronging to the pristine beaches and never-ending margaritas, but now you’ll find yourself in the underbelly of country’s most dangerous city. Shocking murder rate, robberies, muggings, kidnappings, drug dealing, and violence are still major issues in Acapulco. Even though officials say that tourism spots are mostly out of danger, no one wants to come across dismembered bodies instead of enjoying walks along the beach.

Hello folks, it has become so worrisome on how scammers attempt to play dirty tricks on innocents people just in order to milk them dry of their hard earned money. And to make the matter strong, they usually play these their tricks on weekends (dues to the fact that banks are closed and any issue with your bank account/credit card will have to wait until Monday before you can rectify the issue). Many people here will agree with me that at one time or the other they have received SMS, calls, emails that claim they are from your bank telling you to either call or send some vital info in order to rectify some issues with your bank account or credit card only to discover they are fake (well I am not spared), well I’m going to share some vital tips on how to spot and stop scams. HOW TO SPOT SCAM MESSAGES: 1. Email/SMS content usually comes with a link for customers to click on and recipients are often deceived by phishing attempts since messages appear to be sent by your bank. 2 Someone will call you with a number that looks like a an official presenting him/herself as a representative of your bank (with they usually guess correctly at times) telling you that your credit card has been disabled due to incomplete BVN registration but they can help you rectify it by asking for your banking info or they will tell you that they discovered an attempt to change your internet banking password and they locked your account temporarily in order to confirm it was you who made the request (and of course you know the rest of the story ) 3. You are either asked to call a number or directed to a fake website and prompted to enter private information. 4. Of recently, new phishing attack attempts to draw the attention of recipients with the following subject line ‘’Bleep BANK MONTHLY CUSTOMER DIGEST SUBSCRIPTION, ATM CARD DEACTIVATION DUE TO BVN, INTERNET BANKING ALERT’’ e..t.c HOW TO STOP SCAM MESSAGES 1. Security is incomplete without you. Protect your account details like you would protect your life. 2. NEVER click on any link embedded in an email to unsubscribe/de-activate. 3. When in doubt delete the mail/SMS or call you bank's 24hours Contact center before taking any action. 4. Always ensure the sender of all emails from from your Bank is usually in this format "noreply@yourbank.com’’. 5. And when you get a call from anyone that claims he/she if from you banks, please do not tell him/her the name of your bank or your name or other info even though the person sounds real or is close in guessing your name or bank (this method as made some people unconsciously cough up their person banking info ). Please don not fall victim of these guys, share with your loved ones. Please feel free to add yours too. Yours sincerely monkvirus

And nobody remembered vic o..... Menh dat guy is gud... |
Sweetlemon:I agree with you, though I,m a christian, bt d truth be told, these guys are terrorist, a terrorist is a terrorist no matter the name they call themselves (freedom fighters or whatever) bt what I will say for sure is dat these guys re not religious terrorist bt socia-political like u mentioned, nd also I could also remember reading one of their letters where they said they have consulted their war god nd it has given them the go ahead. Like I said earlier these guys are pure terrorist and anybody defending their acctions is a terror sympathizer....... The annoying aspect is that when the war and destruction will start on a large scale now, these sympathizers will start shouting nd complaining nd them they will start cursing their socalled freedom fighters for bringing such havoc on them... Violence is nt good at all no matter how small or modest it may seem. |
When Teebillz shared his suicide note this morning on IG while pouring his heart out about the demise of his marriage to Tiwa Savage, many of us thought/hoped he was just talking, but he wasn't. Tunji 'Teebillz' Balogun tried to commit suicide this morning by jumping off the Lekki- Ikoyi toll bridge and this is fact! According to an eye-witness named Chukwuma Ani, who witnessed the incident and was one of the men who pulled Teebillz off the bridge, he told LIB exclusively that around past 9 this morning while driving on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge, a car hit his own from behind, damaging his car. He said he came out of the car and approached the driver of the vehicle that hit his. He didn't know who the man was (it was Teebillz) but he said he berated him for hitting his car and asked the man to come out and assess the damage caused to his car. The man looked at him and told him to leave...that he was there for a reason. That he was planning to commit suicide and Chukwuma Ani would hear about it later... Not knowing who the guy was or understanding why he was talking suicide, Mr Ani said he kept insisting that the driver must come down from his car and see the damage he had caused to his car. He said he noticed alcohol on the floor of the driver's car so thought the man was drunk. He said while shouting and berating the driver for hitting his car, the guy just suddenly drove his car with speed to the front. Ani said he got into his own car and gave chase and was surprised to see the driver of the car parking his car in the middle of the bridge as other cars drove past. He said he parked in front of the driver and approached the man again, telling him that he couldn't even apologize for hitting his car and was instead trying to drive off. He said as he was berating the man, he (Teebillz) got down from his car and walked to the bridge railing. He said he stood there wondering what the driver was trying to do and it was at that point that two other cars approached them. He said as he was trying to figure out who the new comers were, Teebillz had moved to the bridge railing and was trying to jump. Mr. Ani said a light skinned guy came out from the first car and began running towards Teebillz screaming and that was when he realized what was going on.. "I thought I was watching a movie" Ani told LIB "the man held the railing and tried to jump over it and that was when the yellow man held him and started shouting for help. The two of them nearly fell into the water. I quickly joined the yellow man to pull the guy out and while we were struggling with him, one PSquare twin (Peter Okoye) and Banky W joined us to pull the man out " Ani said LIB called Peter Okoye to confirm he was there but he refused to say anything "Even if I was there, I can't say anything about it" he said. We hear Teebillz is doing okay now and is surrounded by family and friends. People need to take depression seriously in Nigeria - a lot of people are so depressed and struggling and don't usually have anywhere to turn to for help. Let's always lend a helping hand. Hope Teebillz gets better. http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2016/04/lib-exclusive-how-teebillz-nearly.html

A man who claims he is addicted to sex has spoken about hardly ever using a condom, despite the many notches on his bedpost. Danny Wagster, 27, from Manchester, who is single and doesn't plan on settling down any time soon, says he has slept with 2,500 women in ten years. He told The Sun: “My sex life is fast and furious. When I go out, I have women hanging off me. I usually sleep with five or six different girls a week. At 18, I started working out in the gym and began getting a lot of attention from women, so I took advantage of it. Even though I had a girlfriend, I slept around, and during the two years we were together I bedded about 50 girls behind her back. I’m not proud of it, but I was young. I found the attention flattering. Over the last decade, I’ve had around 2,500 partners – and I’ve only cared about two of them. The self-confessed sex addict says he won't go longer than two days without a romp and sleeps with an average of five or six different women a week. Sex is definitely an addiction. The longest I ever go without it is two days. If I’m with a girl I’m really attracted to, I want to sleep with her constantly. I once got a cheeky w**k in the queue at Alton Towers, and then we had sex in the gardens. I’ve also done it in loads of disabled toilets and in clubs and pubs – it keeps things exciting. I’ve had threesomes, and sometimes it’s more than one woman a night. On one occasion, I had sex with four girls in the space of 24 hours in a hotel room in Manchester. I didn’t even have time to change the bedsheets. I know a lot of girls, and either I’ll call them, they’ll call me or I’ll meet them on Instagram, Facebook or in strip clubs. I like beautiful girls and have good judgement, but sometimes booze can interfere. If I wake up at my place and discover a girl’s unattractive, I’ll call them a cab and they can wait outside. There’s no point beating around the bush. I once woke up and realised a girl had a nose like a Boeing 747, so I escaped out her window wearing her daughter’s size-five trainers. I left mine and my Roberto Cavalli leather jacket in the sitting room where she was sleeping. On Love, he says The idea of being in love is nice, but I don’t like the reality. Growing up, my dad wasn’t around. He’s got 12 kids with five different women. I don’t know whether that’s got anything to do with the way I am now. My mum raised me, but our relationship has become more distant as I’ve got older. She definitely disapproves of my behaviour. My mates joke that I’m a slag and advise me to think more carefully about who I sleep with, but I’m a young guy having fun. What’s wrong with that? I’m open with the women I sleep with about my lifestyle, and they have no other option than to be fine with it if they want to continue seeing me. On safe sex Safe sex isn’t massively important to me. I’ll wear a condom if I’m asked to, but I’d rather not because it feels like I’m wearing a crisp packet and kills the mood. I don’t worry about getting STIs – I get regular checks – and I can tell by looking at a girl if she’s got anything. On Getting girls pregnant I’ve got a couple of girls pregnant in the last year. They both had abortions and I went to the clinic with one of them. It wasn’t a nice experience, but it hasn’t frightened me into being more careful. If a girl’s happy to have sex without a condom, then it’s her responsibility to use another form of contraception. I was last in a relationship two years ago. In the six months we were together, I slept with four other girls. Two days after we split up, she caught me in bed with another woman at the flat we shared. She was furious, but as we weren’t officially together any more, I only really felt bad about the fact the girl was wearing my ex’s dressing gown at the time! A lot of guys sleep with girls for another notch on the bedpost, but I’m good at sex and really into satisfying women. I’d rate myself 11 out of 10 in bed. On hopes to find love Maybe one day I’ll be in a regular relationship. I think the person who eventually tames me won’t be a girl – she’ll be a strong woman, someone who stands up to me and says: ‘I don’t agree with this, it’s got to stop.’ I need to meet my match.” http://www.misspetitenaijablog.com/2016/04/meet-man-whos-bedded-2500-women-and.html Menh this guy is the baddest baddo ![]()

oduastates:I think i understand what you are driving at, You mean instead of creating a bridge (an expensive one) that would link different largely populated area to a small/tiny island (which a very populated business district) that would soon become extinct, the government should build and encourage business districts in places like surulere, ketu and the rest you mentioned so that people would not need to go this island (which will thereby reduce inflow traffic) and the government should invest the rest of the money in reasonable transport system such as a good subway system. ? |
