There is no denying that Obi is a behemoth. The minute he joined NDC, it became a force to be reckoned with. The names I'm seeing that have joined is just astonishing.
Atiku really f'd up big time. He should have supported Obi in ADC.
Behemoth that will come 3rd grin

This was how larride wanted to bet that Obi will not win Lagos State in 2023, make una dey calm down. Nigerians will go out and vote like they did in 2023 and APC INEC will declare a different result like they did in 2023..
I'm not larride.

In 2027,

PO will not get 25% of votes in 24 states
PO will not get up to 6.1M votes
PO will not get above 3rd position.

Any of this you disagree, put your money on a bet. Offer open to everyone until election day. For him to win he has to do atleast 2 of the 3 things I outlined. Since you are convinced he can win, it should be easy to bet on 1 of the 3. Pick one.

So by your logic,if a Governor supports APC it means the resident of that state all supports APC? grin

What do we term such a thing? cool

How did OBI win Lagos with Sanwo?🌚

Listen! Winning an election is about playing dirty and exploiting/covering up any loopholes, which is what BAT and the APC are currently doing.

That said, I can also beat my chest that APC is winning next year.My issue with Raum, which you delved into, was that he made it look like the citizens of Nigeria will actually vote for BAT again massively, despite all the killings and insecurity surfacing and resurfacing.

A quick question -As a Nigerian, are you comfortable with the recent happenings?will you still give BAT your full support?
If a governor is APC and supports APC it means APC will get more votes than if the governor did not support APC. It doesn't mean everybody in the state will vote APC. More governors/senators being APC since 2023 means BAT will get more votes in those states. It doesn't mean BAT will win those states. He already got the most votes with fewer governors. He will get more votes with more governors. Chikena.

I'm pro Atiku but there is a part of me that thinks BAT is the lesser evil of the main candidates. He has failed woefully in security but his economic reforms have been absolutely spot on. As bad at BAT is, I'm not convinced any of the other candidates will be any better. Definitely not Peter Obi.

Ebonyi was full blown APC since 2020 or so. Do you know any other party that has any seat there?

Imo has been full blown APC since Rochas. APC has won everything there. So how exactly is Tinubu going to change anything there.

APGA adopted Tinubu in 2023 and 2027. After the Presidential election, they all voted their APGA. So what exactly will change in 2027. Obi Cubana is shouting City Boy, but his own blood brother is still in APGA and will contest under it again.

You're absolutely correct about Tinubu winning 2027. I cannot contest that, except the Lord does so.

But downplaying Obi's votes in 2027 is what I find funny. The same people wey vote am go still vote am, irrespective of tribes.

And what's more funny is that the Religious bias is now worse in the Middle belt, than in 2023 sef
Same people go vote am, abi? We will be here.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MonsieurCoder: 2:51pm On May 24
izzou:
I am not saying you're wrong oh.

But this is exactly the permutations that was made for Obi in 2023, until he pulled those figures.

Your reason for Obi not flooring the Middle belt is because he benefited from a religious bias in 2023. Well, the bias is even now worse. If there's any reason Obi will even win votes outside the SE, it is the religious bias in 2027. Pastors are openly showing it, But you think that Obi won't benefit from it.

The same 2023 had 5 SE governors supporting Tinubu

Direct Support
Umahi
Hope
Soludo

Indirect Support (G5)
Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu

But again in 2027, you think Soludo and Otti will pull a surprise for Tinubu.

You may be right oh. I no be God, but your analysis was exactly what people wrote in 2022 about him. And yes, I agree that it is still Tinubu's election to lose.
I did not say the middle belt won't vote Christian again. I said there are more Christians in the race now. Obi, Makinde, Donald Duke, who knows if GEJ joins? All the Christian votes in the North and South are not going to one person. It's not that Obi won't benefit, it's that there are others who will play the same card and also benefit.

The SE and SS governors did not have the APC structures in place to give Tinubu the support he needed. That has changed. Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo are now full blown APC. APC is now the strongest opposition party in Anambra (used to be PDP). The entire SS is now fully APC. Tinubu now has federal might that they can use to support him. Most of them are now done with their 1st term and have nothing to lose and everything to gain by fully supporting Tinubu. Not that PO does not win all SE states but not anything close to those margins in 2023. Tinubu will get his 25% in almost every SE state at the very least.

PO failed to get 25% in 24 states in 2023. Nobody is yet to tell me how he can do that now. He has not broken new ground in the core north. Except Kano. He has lost ground to APC in the South and there are more Christian candidates in the race now. If anything it's clear he will get less votes than he did the last time. The votes he will get in Kano will not make up for the ground he will lose to APC in the south and the other Christian candidates in the North.

I believe you arent in the country to know the true body language of every one on the streets of Nigeria. Nobody based in Nigeria will be yarning this out- of-touch-with-reality takes of yours.

Also, he gets the loudest support mostly from those abroad, agberos on Lagos streets or his fellow crooks in politics.
Ok. You that's in touch with reality, which of the candidates who have declared is going to win? Let's say it's too early to know who wins the popular vote but can you atleast tell me which states that candidate will get 25% in.

Currently, with happenings in daa country...Obi will floor them all in the East and Middle Belt,Kwankwaso will have to do his homework in daa North.Need I say Lagos and Abuja,i don't trust the SS that much, they are confused.Again, this is from a free/fair election scenerio.

If Kwankwaso was politically capable of doing his homework in the North, he will be the presidential candidate and Peter Obi will be his VP. He won 1 state in the North (and entire country) in 2023 as the presidential candidate. He did not even get 25% in most states in the North. That's the person you think will convince the North to vote an igbo man who is a Christian and can constitutionally do two terms. Lol. Can't wait for next year.

Peter Obi is not flooring anybody in the middle belt. He benefited from being the only Christian in the race among the main contestants in 2023. That's not happening again. Tinubu will get significantly more votes in the south south and south east than he did last time. Every single governor in both regions including Otti and Soludo who are not in his party are now supporting him. Na here we go dey.

Tinubu policies are not popular. So who are the people that will vote him in 24 states for him to win?

See sense
The same people that have voted APC into power in every single by-election since 2023. Except Anambra were APGA won and APC was the 1st runner up. If you think I'm wrong tell me the candidate that can defeat him and tell me the 24 states that candidate will get 25% of votes in.

So you believe the people of Nigeria will vote for this current Government, I don't know if you say this to win arguments and look unshaken, or you're actually delusional. Even the Western region seems tired of this government, they can't win without rigging.

POV: Rigging.
Tinubu does not need rigging to win next year. It's his election to lose. None of the other candidates can get 25% in 24 states. None. If you think I'm wrong tell me which opposition can meet this requirement and tell me the states they can get 25% in. The most likely situation (below a straight Tinubu victory) is that Atiku wins the popular vote but fails to get 25% in 24 states. This will force a rerun between Atiku and Tinubu which Tinubu will win. Obi and the others have no chance. They can neither win the popular vote nor can they can 25% in 24 states.

It's true that Tinubus policies are unpopular but APC is too big to not score significant amount of votes nationwide. Everything I've said so far is in a world without rigging but there will be rigging too which will solidify his win. He will absolutely win.

Election next year is more of a two horse race than a three..The only thing that can make ADC get up to 1m votes is ElRufai and with what his son posts on Twitter, I think he'll port to NDC.. Wouldn't be surprised if Atiku finally joins his APC because what he'll get as result would be worse than a disgrace..

Obi has to do everything within his power to convince Kwankwaso to deputize him and make sure the North believes he'll do one term..

They all said I was not in the country and I should watch what will happen

One day in the future it would be revealed how Tinubu paid Obi to secure his 2 terms as president cos this is obvious to every eye that this is not going to remove APC
You don't reason with us igbos that way. We don't move that way. Emotional nzogbu nzogbu is our way. Whether it's IPOB or Obidients we move the same way. It's not really about winning with us. It's more about pride, ego, and defiance. We don't want to be told we have to play second fiddle even though temporarily. We want to beat our chest and tell you we are the best at everything and no one is bigger than us. It's just who we are as a people. I learned this a long time ago. Your idea will make sense for people who actually want to win. Not us. Winning is not the goal here, proving we can do things our own way is the goal.

Anybody from the north who wants to build a political alliance with the south to become president is better of doing so with the Yorubas. There is more leadership among the Yorubas and a stronger sense of political sagacity. It's sad and it hurts to say this as an igbo man but it's the truth.

All the best to everyone. And congratulations to President Tinubu on his second term. I genuinely wish him the best and I hope he is in good health and alive to complete his second term because I genuinely fear for a Shettima presidency.

Its what liberals do best. Its called bigotry of low expectations. A.k.a we know you guys are not as smart to compete with others so let's lower the standards to accommodate you, So that I will look good

This is something I think black people should kick against. Dont lower your criteria to accommodate me simply give me the opportunity.

E.g when Biden was to pick Ketanji Jackson he said I will pick a black woman. Why didnt he say I will pick the best American. Then we see that oh its a black woman. But Biden has already qualified Ketanjis appointment to be a DEI when its possible that Ketanji was actually a smart woman who bested other men white or colored, bested other women whites and minorities to get to where she is but Biden and the left already told you she got picked because of her gender and race

This things permeate and make people start doubting your abilities. Thats when If you go to a hospital for a crucial surgery and see Dr Adamu maybe your mind might start wondering dont they have like a Doctor Emeka or Dr Onos instead of this Adamu who we no know how he take be doctor

From your example of those who got admitted without passing Maths or they waived SAT for. Because they think Maths is racist. They didnt waive Maths for everyone its just for these Neanderthals who cant understand Maths. If their colleagues start looking at them as quota system candidates do you think that helps them? Especially the ones who would have dusted the exams easily are all bunched together. Now if they graduate won't they be viewed as those who got Maths waivers and employers discriminate against them, even if they are forced to employ them maybe they will just keep them in a quota system position and not business critical because we know they were helped to get here

It happens in Nigeria to Northerners even some of us Dundee southerners will look down on every Northerner and assume we are smarter.
Happened to me when I got a job during that Biden era. Got a job in big tech and had colleagues half as qualified as I am question if I got the job because I am black. I came in with a PhD from an R1 (perfect GPA), multiple research publications in top tier venues and clowns that barely had a masters were questioning how I got the job. Did it piss me off? Yes. Do I blame them ? No. They saw Biden doing it on TV everyday. Reducing years of peoples hardwork to their skin color. Why then won't they wonder if I got my job because of my skin color when big tech was also positioning behind Biden?

In 2011, a CMD would have been earning around 7.5M per year from private and personal practice, which would come to around 50K USD. From that money he'd have been able to sustain two kids in the higher institution in many parts of Europe, and some parts of the USA.

School fees for both kids 12K per year
Living expenses for both kids 18K per year
(flight was typically twice, once at the beginning of their program, and another at the end of their 4 year program, so that's miscellaneous).

The CMD would have still had 20K USD (about 3M then) to guide in Nigeria.

Mr Faruk was accused of spending the equivalent of 300M per year on his children's school fees, while on a salary of 50M per year...there's no Math you want to solve that'd explain how he's able to do that through his salary.

You could have criticized Mr Faruk for being corrupt and living way above his income without using it as an opportunity to resurrect an Akamu argument you made some time in the past, but alas grin

The Nigerian government created the version of IPOB everyone is shouting about today. They were peaceful from the start, until Buhari’s government decided harassment, raids, intimidation, and military operations were the correct response.

Meanwhile, herdsmen were slaughtering farmers and ordinary citizens with no consequences. People were begging for protection, and the government looked the other way. So IPOB adapted to the reality forced on them, as any group backed into a corner eventually does.

Operation Python Dance, the harassment of anyone linked to IPOB or even just being Igbo, and the constant intimidation created the monster they now complain about. You can only push people so far before they reach their breaking point. You can’t beat a child and then forbid them from crying.

And before anybody tries to twist my words, I’ve never supported Nnamdi Kanu or IPOB. I’m simply stating facts. You people are trying to rewrite a history we all lived through, and I won’t pretend not to see it.
Sir, with due respect, if i did not have training, I will have said let thunder fire you!!

So Buhari's operation python dance is the reason NK and his boys started using guns to terrorize the same igbos in the East they claim to be fighting freedom for? Are you mad? Why can't they take their guns to the military barracks in the East and engage the Nigerian army to show their anger? Why can't they board buses to aso rock and face Buhari? Buhari and Nigerian army intimidated you and your solution is to start terrorizing your very own people that are victims of the exact same intimidation that claim you are facing. Let us all respect ourselves here abeg.

https://x.com/CoalBoom/status/1991752530695762166?s=19

but for some funny reasons you see some elite from the East actually mourning Kanus sentence. See PSquare, Phyno, Cubana Chiefpriest etc posts since yesterday. How come none of them spoke out when people are being murdered, some of them cannot travel home without a convoy of security
This is Senator ABaribe statement

https://www.nairaland.com/8566027/nigeria-justice-not-igbos-senator

The Northern elites that also gave these type of excuses for bandits, look at how they are "enjoying" their land now. From the hands of "our sons"

Do you also want that type of "enjoyment" in your own land?
The reason they are doing this is not "funny". I don't think you know how these IPOB/ESN/MNK boys/Terrorist Sympathizers operate. If you are an igbo public figure and you don't make a post on social media sympathizing with NK, his followers start bullying you on social media. They will insult you, your family, call you a traitor and start threatening your life and that of your family. If you want to see an example go to facebook and look for the post Obi Cubanna made before he sympathized with NK and read the comments. That is just one example. Even if you are just an online influencer that is igbo without an NK sympathy post you wont have peace. These people are bullies. There is one popular igbo influencer I follow and who I know even off social media. He made a post yesterday and the threats and insult followed. He quickly made a video apologizing and saying he had not seen the news and that he NK judgement is not fair. Lie. If you watch the video carefully you will see even in the video he was afraid and made it under duress. I know this guy and he hates NK guts more than anyone but he dares not say it o. Remember, these are not just online noisemakers some of these NK boys are heavily armed and if they mark you off as a traitor it can cost you your life. Late Senator ifeanyi Ubah with his heavy convoy was almost assassinated because NK boys accused him (with no evidence whatsoever) of helping FG track NK. Ifeanyi Ubah denied it vehemently in English, Pidgin and Igbo and they still came after his life. Then imagine a private citizen that is just a social media influence with little or no security. All those igbos coming to sympathize is mostly out of fear of NK boys and not love for NK.

Terrorist sympathizers kariri ebe a o.

NK and his boys terrorize(d) my people that I care about in the East and for that he deserves to die in prison.

Do you know the number of women that were (and still being) r*ped by these boys?
Do you know the number of people (men, women, children) that have been (and still being) killed by NK boys that he armed?

If the victims of these NK boys (the few who make it out alive) share their stories you will cry blood. Those boys are ruthless. You pay your ransom or they harvest your organs. You will be there waiting for your own ransom payment watching them harvest other peoples organs who could not pay up and they are telling you to your face that if you don't pay up you are next. Imagine the life long trauma even if you manage to make it out alive.

There are whole towns and entire local governments today (Okigwe, Orlu, Orsu, and may more) that are completely inhabitable today because of these boys. They hold sway in these places even as I type. There is zero police or military presence in these places today and it's NK boys that are the government, judge, jury, executioner and ransom collectors in these places. For anyone who doesn't know, this is all ongoing. Everything I have listed here is still happening till TODAY.

Nothing concern me and how the North is treating ex boko haram and Sheikh Gumi, If north wants to pamper terrorists that is their business. You can buy bus ticket and relocate to the same street that Sheik Gumi is living and help protect him. As a Nigerian, that is your right. You don't even need to take permission. In ala igbo, terrorists will be shown no mercy and will die in prison or with a bullet in their head. Ndi ara.

Then the one who didn't have a state HoR to bankroll him, got the exact 6 million, and you think Obi is to be blamed

One fact you fail to realize is that 2023 had a lot of new voters...A lot. Many first time voters showed up because in a long while, there was a 3 man race. If Obi deputized Atiku, many people who voted in 2023, would not have voted.

Obi was nothing to you, and PDP as a whole till he decided to contest and peaked . If he was that important, Atiku would have done anything to keep him. He didn't.

I'm glad you said the ship has sailed. Let Mbah, Umahi and the rest keep waiting for 2031. And I am very sure APC will flip the script again by then.

We all will be fine, one way or the other.
Obi was nothing to PDP but they picked him as VP in 2019 against the wishes of the SE PDP bloc who said PO was a governor with APGA and a new entrant to PDP and those who had been in PDP longer deserved the VP spot more than him? I don't blame you people at all.

Stop this nonsense of new voters. Atiku needed an extra 1M votes to seal that election. The "old" voters from the eastern (SE/SS) and northern christian bloc were more than enough to get him double of that. Atiku underestimating how much damage PO could do to him does not change the facts on the ground PO intentionally sabotaged Atiku in 2023 out of pure pettiness and spite. Atiku was givien a choice of Wike/Okowa/Udom to pick as VP, why didn't he pick Wike then? Abi you think Wike didn't want to be VP? Atiku needed money to bankroll his election and only a sitting governor of an oil rich state had the resources he needed. It was not personal. Stop dropping reason and logic to argue emotionally to defend PO. That's not how you win in politics.

Obi is a political suicide bomber to you today, because he got 6 million votes. What was his portfolio before 2023? Absolutely zero.. So if Obi decides to quit politics today, Atiku's career will be over? Think am nau.
Sabotage is sabotage. It did not matter if PO ended with 500k or 6M votes. He knew for a fact that he couldn't win and those votes were more likely to go to Atiku than Tinubu. That is sabotage. Tinubu by picking Muslim/Muslim was clear indication that he was not interested in the Eastern votes and the Northern christian votes. Those were going to be an important voting block for the opposition party. PO strategy was to capture that base. A base that had historically always gone to PDP. He knew what he was doing. His campaign was clearly targeting voters in these 2 blocks + other Nigerians who were dissatisfied with the other 2 options.

2027 is before Atiku. He has the whole Southern Nigeria to pick from. If he likes, he should pick Okowa again, and come and tell us how Obi sabotaged him
That opportunity is gone. The Eastern block that was historically PDP is now almost entirely APC. That ship has sailed. You can thank your political suicide bomber PO for that.

Let it go nau.

He left because PDP picked Okowa
Is Okowa not an igbo man? Atiku was forced by the party to pick a sitting southern governor (Udom/Wike/Okowa) in the PDP. They were the ones who had the money to bankroll the election. It was not personal just politics. Rather than negotiate his way back into power with Atiku as SGF or something else, he decided if it's not him let Tinubu win. Because while the average Obedient is politically naive and were just pawns, PO is politically shrewd and knew exactly what he was doing. He knew for a fact that he and Atiku shared the same voters base. He knew for a fact that him running will hurt Atiku more than it hurt Tinubu. He knew him running will cost Atiku that election. He knew he didn't have the votes to win but still did it anyway to satisfy his ego. Peter Obi is a political suicide bomber. I won't win you won't win too.
