Emma Nwachukwu: Ka Nnewi-South Jekene !!!

There's no doubt that Emma Nwachukwu is qualified and rightly positioned to lead Anambra South to the Senate. It is even more equitable that he represents the zone since he is from Nnewi-South LGA, a local government that has been deprived of any major political position since the turn of the century.

It is unfortunate that out of all the LGAs in Anambra South, nay the entire State, Nnewi-South remains the only LGA with 20 wards without a federal constituency.

Also, in the rotation of power within the zone, Nnewi-South appears to have been forgotten, relegated to the background and subjugated for no just cause.

To make this clear, it is important to note that Anambra South has three established blocs: the old Aguata, the old Nnewi and the Ihiala blocs. Any other structuring of the zone serves an interest inimical to the dictates of equity and fairness and is averse to the development of the zone.

Interestingly, Ihiala LGA from the Ihiala bloc has produced a governor in H.E. Chinwoke Mbadinuju, enjoying a fair chunk in the rotation of power. Nnewi-North LGA got a slice of the State power when H.E. Dame Virgy Etiaba governed the State for a while. However, the LGA has enjoyed the occupation of both seats - Senatorial (Ifeanyi UBA) and Federal House of Reps (Chris Azubogu) - just as Ekwusigo LGA with Eriobuna.

It is a truism that he who must go to equity must do so with clean hands. Recent claims to the Senate and the balkanizing of Anambra South into four federal constituencies by a bloc already occupying the seat of power in Agụ Awka, bear traces of mischief. The willingness to jettison truth and bend facts to satisfy selfish desires spells doom for the zone. The question to ask those projecting this twist of truth is, where is the fifth federal constituency in Anambra South. Or does Nnewi-South not qualify to have one even with 20 wards?

The injustice against Nnewi-South must end and this is why the entire people of Nnewi South LGA are calling on ndị Anambra South to support their son, Emma Nwachukwu - onye eji Ọnọdugo wee mara nke ọma.

Anambra South would have approached equity with clean hands if it supports Ọnọdugo and Nnewi-South to go to the Senate. It will only be fair to balance the rotation of power and give the LGA a sense of belonging - maka na emee nwa ka emelu ibe ya, obi adị ya mma.

Emma Nwachukwu is an accomplished technocrat with vast experience in oil and gas, real estate, asset management, community service and leadership. His aspiration is driven by a passion to serve humanity based on justice, equity and fairness. Without a doubt, he will represent Anambra South excellently in the Senate and bring justice, growth and development to the people.

Soludo Appoints Aburime, Anatune, Anyaonu, Omenugha, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Other Aides.

Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, of Anambra State, has appointed Mr. Christian Aburime, who had been holding fort on Press Matters, as Chief Press Secretary, Media to the Governor.

Also, Dr. Nelson Omenugha who was the convener of Youths Ernestly Seek Soludo (YESS), a support Wing of one of the numerous groups that supported the Governor's election was appointed Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment Programme.

Among the new appointments released by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment Mr. Paul Nwosu, were also Advertising and Brand Management guru, Mr. Joe Anatune who takes over as MD/CEO of Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency.

Others appointed are: Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, MD/CEO ICT Agency; Mr Chike Anyaonu, MD/CEO Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, Mr. Okey Ezeobi an Architect who takes over as GM/CEO Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement.

Also, Mr.Tochukwu Nweke, a lawyer was appointed Special Adviser on Legal Matters; popular Nollywood actor, was appointed Special Adviser on Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism.

In 2023, Nigerians will line up to cast their votes to elect a new president and members of the 10th National Assembly. The new President as well as the 10th senate will meet a country more divided than ever before, a country that is in its lowest ebb in terms of insecurity and inflation.

The task of making the necessary changes and bringing succour to Nigerians will be done by men and women who are passionate about the Nigerian project, infact it is safe to say that the next Presidency and National Assembly cannot be business as usual. There are drastic measures and policies that must be undertaken to save Nigeria from implosion and immediately too.

As a people, it is important that we send our finest of men and women, our first eleven in footballing terms. People who are committed to making the desired change possible.

The Frontline APGA Aspirant for Anambra South Senatorial Zone Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu (ONODUGO) was today at the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) National Party Headquarters where he picked his Expression of Interest and Nomination Form to represent the good people of Anambra South at the National Assembly elections in 2023.

Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu's several years of top flight experience includes senior management responsibility at Corporate and General Investments, CGI Limited, a funds management and consulting company and senior management positions at UBA Plc. He was a key member of the turnaround management team of New Nigeria Bank (NNB) Plc, which recapitalized, restructured and repositioned the bank in 2000 before it joined other banks to consolidate into Unity bank.

Ndi Anambra South as a distinguished Community Leader, he was the President General (PG) of Ukpor Improvement Union (UIU) from 2017 to 2020. A position through which he exhibited great leadership that galvanised significant visible developments for his home town. Hon. Quoting Martin Luther King Jr, Chief Nwachukwu posited that “Law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and that when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress.”.

Why We need Emma Nwachukwu (Onodugo) In the Senate

When Jesus taught his disciples that he who must lead must be the servant of all he was only reechoing the truth that service to humanity is the best work of life.

Sadly, this has not been the trend in Anambra South Senatorial Zone where recent representation at the Senate has been about self aggrandizement and adulation than selfless service to the people.

The Senate is the melting point of men and women of intergrity, eloquence, grace, oratorical power, character and learning who employ their skills, experience and expertise to craft the legislative apparatchiks of nation building.

It is the altar on which thoughts from all the Senatorial zones representing the different peoples of this federation are coalesced. Those who bear the thoughts of their people as priests on this altar are humane and committed to only one cause - service to the people.

Sadly this has been absent in Anambra South. Those who found their way to the Senate by bulldozing all else out of the way, have remained captives of the 'winner takes it all' mentality. They care not for the deep yearnings of the people but resort to a periodic toss of morsels to them whenever election approaches.

As 2023 general elections approach, ndị Anambra South must rise to change this ignoble order. The empty and hollow representation must give way for a strategic and pragmatic representation focused on the people.

The APGA is truly a progressive party. The emergence of Soludo as governor of Anambra State proves  this beyond doubt.

This is why ndị Anambra South must ensure that Emma Nwachukwu (Onodugo) gets the ticket of APGA to run for Senate in 2023. The need to change the empty representation of ndị Anambra South to a representation of true and selfless service cannot be overemphasized.

Its a gathering of all the major Apga stakeholders , principal officers of the wards and Local Govt of Nnewi South when they welcomed the Frontline Federal House of Representative Aspirant , Hon. Uche Eleodimmuo ( Ugbo oma ).

Early this morning, at about 1am, men of the underworld (Unknown Gunmen) struck and set ablaze Nnewi South Local Government Secretariat headquarters Ukpor, killing a security man who hails from Ezinifite in the process.

The corpse of the security man is still in front of the LG Secretariat as at the time of filing this report.

Nnewi's industries, commerce and human capital will receive full legislative attention says Eleodimmuo as he declares to run for House of Representatives.

Leading aspirant for Nnewi-North, Nnewi-South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Hon. Uchenna Clement Nwachukwu Eleodimmuo has assured Ndi Nnewi that a support for his aspiration is a support for partnership that will see the town's potentials fully harnessed. He said this while notifying Nnewi APGA ward executives and some stakeholders of his desire to represent Nnewi-North, Nnewi-South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly.

Nnewi is an industrial Hub, a commercial nerve center and possesses human resources as well, that when fully tapped into will strengthen the economy of our federal constituency. I intend to do this through strategic partnership with the relevant stakeholders and conducting trainings for the youths to enable them meet up with the requisite skills to contribute to the society. He noted that industrial cities as Nnewi require lots of support especially with electricity, human resource development and infrastructure, which he intends to always push for on the floor of the House.

He assured party faithfuls that he will always consult and create an open communication link to ensure that their problems and suggestions make up his legislative agenda for the overall benefit of our constituents.

The Meeting was attended by; Chike Agwuncha, the LGA APGA chairman, Hon Ikechukwu Obidugwu Chairman APGA Ekwusigo, Hon. Bonny Agbala, Hon Benchuks Nwosu, Hon Somadina Obi. The Local Government party Chairman, Mr Chike Agwuncha, the DG of Ugboma Project Hon. Chikeruba Ezefunamba in their separate remarks described Hon. Eleodimmuo as a gentleman man who has continued to make his words his bond and assured him of continued support.

The representative journey to Abuja begins.

Hon. Uchenna Eleodimmuo officially declares to run.

The first step of the proverbial journey of a thousand miles was taken today by a front line Aspirant for Nnewi-North, Nnewi-South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Hon. Uchenna Eleodimmuo (Nwachinamelu Ozubulu) as he officially declared to his ward 5 Nza Ozubulu party executives and stakeholders today.

The Enugu State University of technology(ESUT) graduate and successful businessman has assured his people of responsible representation, one hinged solely on improving the welfare of his constituents. Hear him, " the job of a legislature who has the interest of the people at heart is easy, stay in touch with your people and make their problems your legislative agenda" end of quote. Speaking further, He revealed that the performance of the current occupant of the seat has set a standard that the federal constituency cannot afford to drop, assuring he'll take the bar even higher if given the opportunity to serve the people.

Earlier Today, Chief Akai Egwuonwu (Umeebubeagu Amichi) a philanthropist, Industrialist and billionaire rice merchant across the length and breath of Anambra and South East at large earlier today bagged an African Award.

The West African Knowledge Economic Organization (WAKEorg) honored a billionaire Industrialist and philanthropist Chief Akai Egwuonwu CEO Stine Rice LTD along side Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso Nnewi); the Chairman CEO Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing company.

The merit award was in recognition of his stellar performance in the Agricultural sector of Anambra state and south east at large, his agricultural and entrepreneual and economic management has helped in promoting commercial activities in Anambra and the Nations at large as well as other countries of Ecowas.

The merit award was presented to him by the West Africa Knowledge Economic Organisation (WAKEorg). Other recipient include the

Deputy Governor's Defection; A Failed Move That Represents Ingratitude, Sabotage, Selfishness And An Act Of A Man That Lacks Political Relevance In The Political Process --U-AYA & U-AWA

Emenating from the callous , unjustiable and unmerited political defection of the Deputy Governor of Anambra state, Dr. Nkem Okeke into the unacceptable and rejected All Progressives Congress ( APC) ahead of the November 6th 2021 Anambra Governoship Election , the most populous and influential Non-Governmental organizations in the entire South East , the United Anambra Youth Assembly ( U-AYA) and United Anambra Women Assembly ( U-AWA) have described the defection of the Deputy Governor as ineffective, insensitive, unjustifiable and Selfishness, as well as a political move that lacks relevance.

While addressing a special critical stakeholders of the associations in Awka yesterday, 13th October 2021, on what is expected of the group ahead of the November Governorship Election, especially as it regards grassroots mobilization, the Founder and National President of U-AYA and U-AWA who doubled as the Member Representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon Chief Benjamin C Obidigwe ( Akaoma Jide Aku) pointed out that APGA is the most acceptable political party in Anambra state with the best governorship candidate in the person of Prof.Charles Chukwuma Soludo and urged supporters not to be distracted by politicians who have sold their conscience, by forgetting so soon how APGA has transformed Anambra state from "home for all" to its present "light of the nation".

On the acclaimed defection, the group however maintained that the Deputy Governor was a liability to APGA, because he doesn't have electoral value and doesn't contribute to any political victory from inception, not even in his Enugu-ukwu ward and wondered what value shall he be for the APC where he just defected to.

They therefore insisted that while other political parties in the State have become dull and dormant as they have nothing to offer to Ndi Anambra, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has continuously improved tremendously in her responsible and responsive political campaigns across the State, where Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo unveils his manifesto to the electorate.

Finally and most importantly, the United Anambra Youth Assembly and United Anambra Women Assembly and numerous other powerful youth bodies in Anambra state have reinstated their interests, commitments and unalloyed supports for APGA and described the few defectors as retired politicians who cannot effect any political change in their various electoral wards.

�Soludo: The Best for Ndi Anambra!!!

Anambra State is the heart of the South Eastern region. It is the center point for various commercial activities and a major economic hub in Nigeria and West Africa. A history of excellence in education, commerce and industry, agriculture, entrepreneurship and human capital development earned it the deserving sobriquet, Light of the Nation.

Anambra State is fortunate to have had a progressive trend in governance and development in the past two decades. Over the years Anambra has provided the enabling environment for wealth creating opportunities. The youths in Anambra have been trained in various entrepreneurship and skill acquisition programmes to produce generations of skilled entrepreneurs in various endeavours.

The need to sustain this trend and harness the economic potentials in Anambra State demands that the next governor of the State must have requisite tact and expertise. Past administrations of Dr Chris Ngige, Mr Peter Obi and currently, Gov Willie Obiano, have contributed immensely to the progressive sustenance of the development trend in Anambra State. It is only right that the next governor should have the capacity to do same.

Having this in mind, it is safe to give Prof Charles Soludo the opportunity to take the mantle of leadership having known his antecedents. From the time he was recalled from international duties by President Obasanjo and appointed as Chief Economic Adviser and later as the Governor of the CBN, Soludo has been blazing the trail as a renowned economist.

When he was tasked with the repositioning of the Nigerian economy and to ensure financial stability, he executed same excellently, efficiently and diligently. He promoted excellence and all round productivity. He shaped the economic structure of the country by giving it a new face which yielded profitable returns. People's money had value, employment opportunities were created directly and indirectly, and different reforms like the bank consolidation strengthened and stabilized the economy.

Soludo's contribution in averting what would have been an economic disaster in Nigeria at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, gives further insight on why Anambra State needs a man like him. With such vast knowledge in tackling economic issues and providing solutions, and possessing positive and visionary approaches to programmes and policy formation and implementation, there's no doubt that Soludo will grow the economy of Anambra State to ensure job creation, wealth creation, infrastructural development and most importantly economic prosperity and stability.
