As the Edo state Governorship elections draws closer,there has been accusations and counter accusations between the People's Democratic party PDP and the All Progressives Congress APC.

The most recent been a scathing remark made by the APC campaign coordinator in Edo state and governor of Kano state, Umar Ganduje.

In his statement,Gov Ganduje has threatened to isolate his PDP counterpart and executive governor of Rivers state, Barrister Nyesom Wike during the Edo state elections.

Gov Wike is the coordinator of the PDP campaign in the same Edo state 2019 elections.

The statement however did not go down well with the PDP family in Rivers state as the Deputy speaker of the Rivers state house of assembly, Edison Ehie has sent a warning to Umar Ganduje.

In a statement obtained from Social media, Hon Ehie threatened to choke Ganduje on dollar bills and also asked him to stir clear of the Rivers state Governor during the Edo elections.

The statement reads
Gov Ganduje of Kano:We shall chop your Dollars and choke you into Coma within the confines of Law.The Governor of Kano State flanked by his team of Edo State APC Governorship Campaign Council in a Media Briefing has threatened to isolate our Leader and Principal Gov Wike into an isolation centre until the election is over.
Gov Ganduje intermittently used the word "Assurance" to explain his level of confidence and premeditated plans to put Gov Wike in harm's way within the context of his declaration.
To isolate means to set apart, to insulate, to quarantine, to select from among others, to keep a person separate from others by keeping them somewhere else or putting them in a different place, to separate someone from it's connect. Thus, If anything unusual happens to Gov Wike, Nigerians know the door to knock.

Ganduje of Kano State, not better than Hushpuppi, is known for his lowly kickback practice of receiving bribe of surpluses from contractors and multinational companies in Dollars with irrefutable evidence, but alas, Nigeria is a country where any corrupt politician receives redemption under the APC.
In the categorization of Governors, Gov Wike is ranked as First Class, by Nigerians, unlike the infamous Gandollars of Kano who has reduced governance to a mere Boys' Scout, running an administration of misplaced priorities and sending the ancient Kano State three decades backwards.

Nigerian man who goes by the name Livinus Elem has given more insider details about the rape and murder of the 100 level Uniben student Uwa Vera Uwaila.

Authorities in Congo are reporting a new outbreak of Ebola in the western part of the African nation on Monday.

The World Health Organization said it already has a “surge team” on the ground in the city of Mbandaka, where six cases of the deadly virus have been identified, according to a statement Monday. Four of those victims have died and two are still being treated.

“This is a reminder that COVID-19 is not the only health threat people face,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.

“Although much of our attention is on the pandemic, WHO is continuing to monitor and respond to many other health emergencies.”

Mbandaka, a city of 1.5 million people on the Congo River, is about 620 miles from North Kivu province, where an earlier and ongoing outbreak of Ebola has killed more than 2,200.

When Dami Askini started feeling pain, shortness of breath and a migraine all at once on a Saturday in late February, she called the oncologist who had been treating her lymphoma.

Her doctor thought she might be reacting poorly to a new medication, so she sent Askini to a Boston-area emergency room. There, doctors told her it was likely pneumonia and sent her home.

Over the next several days, Askini saw her temperature spike and drop dangerously, and she developed a cough that gurgled because of all the liquid in her lungs. After two more trips to the ER that week, Askini was given a final test on the seventh day of her illness, and once doctors helped manage her flu and pneumonia symptoms, they again sent her home to recover.

She waited another three days for a lab to process her test, and at last she had a diagnosis: COVID-19.

A few days later, Askini got the bills for her testing and treatment: $34,927.43. “I was pretty sticker-shocked,” she says. “I personally don’t know anybody who has that kind of money.”
