Popular Port-Harcourt entrepreneur, businessman, talent manager and CEO of ichewealth entertainment Mr Gift Azunwena finally tied the nuptial knots with his heartthrob,the beautiful and delectable Miss Mabel Amiso on Saturday 12th December 2020.

The ceremony was held in a private location due to Covid-19 restrictions and was well attended by family members, friends and some entertainment folks.

It was a display of cultural heritage from the couple and
their families as Mr Gift Azunwena is from the upland Ikwerre ethnic group while his bride Is from Okrika , the riverine part of Rivers state.


The MC of the day was the hilarious comedian Prince Hezekiah and OAP Sisiboma of wazobia.

With lots of talented Southern singers like Burna boy and Omah lay making waves across the international music scene, a lot of attention has shifted to the musical scene in the southern  part of Nigeria with a plethora of talented artists springing up every day. 

These set of talented young and hungry artists are always grinding hard and putting out quality music hoping to break into the mainstream soon.

One of such artists is the super talented and ladies favourite Chimuanya Okereke popularly known as Chimy.

Born Chimuanya Tobenna Okereke, Chimy is a native of Anambra state but he was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. 

He grew a bone for music while watching his elder brother who is a rapper, rehearse and throw lines. This cultured into songwriting while he develops into a singer/songwriter with influences from the likes of Timaya, D’banj, Flavour, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi as he grew older. He started making music professionally in 2017. 

He released his official single “Text Back” in the same year and and later on took out time to learn music production and sound engineering.

He classifies his music as “Afro Fusion” because his sound was chiseled by afrobeat, highlife and reggae influences at a high propensity. 

His lyricism drips with witty and cheerful sensuality which has undoubtedly won him a special place amongst the female folks.

He is popularly known for hit singles like ‘2 Seconds’, ‘Concept’ which features Kiienka & Veen, and the most sensational of them all; ‘Trips & Munchies’ which features Dr. Barz and Dandizzy and is the first single off his upcoming album ‘Major Curing’. 

His single ‘Trips & Munchies’ has racked an impact over 300 thousand streams across multiple streaming platforms.

 He recently got a nomination alongside The Cavemen for the Next Rated category at the Galaxy Music Awards and currently signed to 9 Figures Empire.

‘Major Curing’ is Chimy’s debut music album which he started working on two years ago. 

It is a selection of 9 songs amongst an array of 30 songs recorded around the same period of time. 

The inspiration for this LP came, after the young artist slipped through the grip of death in a fatal accident leaving him with an aftertaste and a yearning for a ‘Major Curing’.

Dead man sits at his own funeral
The funeral on Wednesday of Che Lewis and Adlay Lewis, the father and son who were killed on November 14, garnered massive attention as videos of Che Lewis, 29, being transported to the chapel in a chair at the back of the hearse began circulating on social media.

They showed the dead man sitting on the back of a "convertible" hearse – a hearse with the top of the tray cut off – as he was transported along Belmont Circular Road in Port of Spain.

Another video followed Lewis as his body was driven around the Queen’s Park Savannah.

The body was put to sit in a chair at the entrance of a church in Diego Martin. The service was arranged by Dennie's Funeral Home.

The body was being being viewed by relatives at the service, and on a live video on the funeral home’s Facebook page.

The body of Lewis’s father Adlay was viewed in a casket, also at the entrance.

On November 14 at about 11.20 pm residents of First Trace, Bagatelle Road, Diego Martin heard gunshots.

Father and son were found bleeding from gunshot wounds. Police and emergency services were alerted but both men died.

A video released by 'Afrimax Rwanda' on YouTube days ago in which the life of a special boy who was reportedly raised by animals in the Jungle was made public.

The story details that in the rural areas of Rwanda, there lives a young man whose life from the date of birth is still a mystery to many.

Born in 1999, the 21-year-old boy's Mother as well as relatives are worried that the boy is being mocked, bullied for looking like a chimpanzee.

Authorities are said to be trying to reintegrate the young boy back into the society as well as some NGOs are volunteering to assist him and his family too.

Its really heartbreaking seeing Africans mocking one of their own.

According to her, she stepped on the dangerous reptile without knowing it was actually a Poisonous snake.

The award winning twins Peter and Paul celebrated their 39th birthday on the 19th of November separately as their infamous family feud continues to keep them apart.
