Abeg, who do this to us? We build one good transition play going forward, and before I blink twice, the ball don already reach our keeper again. ![]() |

Kilishihunter:Has Real Madrid backed down on signing Osimhen? I think they want him. |
popizaino:I’ve always maintained my position on him, that guy na proper fraud, he is all hype with no real impact on the pitch. Plenty of movement and activity, but zero impact on field . Nothing genuinely special about his game. The day I called him out here, some people nearly came for my head. |
BlueRayDick:What baffled me the most was that not many members of the National Assembly opposed the motion. I have said this repeatedly, people should be careful about handing excessive power to one individual. Some of the recent actions and policies already suggest a willingness to alter long-standing democratic norms. As I had always maintained before now, thank God age no dey his side again, otherwise, he would probably attempt to amend Nigeria’s Constitution to pursue a third-term agenda. |
BlueRayDick:It beats my imagination how some people we regard as educated and professionally trained can still behave like Oshodi touts. |
Congrats Andrewbaba44 |
iamoyindamola:Is Saint Obi no dey do same thing? |
TemporaryHansel:Adopting this arrangement would amount to a serious political miscalculation by the South. By 2031, the presidency would be open for fresh candidates to contest, and at that point, it could be easier for a new candidate to win than it is now to unseat a sitting president. Furthermore, if Peter Obi fails to win in 2027, he will not be eligible to contest under the ADC in 2031 unless he decides to switch to another party. BTW, I’m not a supporter of him, and I’m also not a supporter of Tinubu either. I simply support good governance. |
PDPGuy:I think this arrangement will favour the North more than the South. By 2031, the coast will be clear for Kwankwaso to contest for the presidency. This means that whoever the party fields as its presidential candidate in 2027 from the south, whether the person wins or loses, he will not be eligible to contest again in 2031. MorataFC:We are out of top 6, Bournemouth just need a point from their 2 remaining games to secure it. |
NinjaMetahuman:Judging by our recent performance, I don't even expect it, but we move. mathematically we can still make top 6, but that's not in our hands. |
popizaino:😂😂😂 |

Kaczynski:I dont know of about Akwa Ibom o, but my nephew went from Lagos to serve in Calabar for his NYSC, and he never came back. Since then, he hasn’t stopped talking about how peaceful and serene the place is. |
BlueRayDick:I actually agree with you to an extent, and that’s exactly the “weakness” I was referring to. They saw that soft nature in him and took advantage of it politically. The question is simple, would Buhari concede that easily if the tables were turned? Would Jagaban do the same today? We have already seen Tinubu appoint an INEC chairman many people believe tjat he will dances to his tune, but Jonathan reportedly consulted Buhari before appointing Jega and even allowed Buhari’s input in the process. Who does that? That level of openness may make you a good man, but politics at that level is not built on goodwill alone. How can you be digging your own grave just because you want people to see you as a good man? No doubt, Jonathan was a decent and humane leader, same with Yar’Adua. In terms of personal chsracter and compassion, both stand above many of the people we parade today. But Jonathan was simply too soft for the ruthless political terrain he found himself in. In fact, looking at the confusion and division in the opposition parties today between ADC, NDC, and the rest, if this was during Jonathan’s era, I’m very sure they would have made him chairman of the peace and reconciliation committee by now. 😂 The man naturally wanted everybody to be happy, even his opponents. He also did not want the blood of the people he governed on his hands, which is why he conceded defeat peacefully, and the opposition saw that side of him, they saw the loopholes and used them against him. But would they try that with Buhari, Obasanjo, or Tinubu? And honestly, that same softness is part of why many people believe certain powerful northern political interests became too comfortable during his tenure, knowing fully well that the man was too lenient and he will do nothinh and yes he did nothing. And let me tell the plain truth, that was the reason he lost the election before it even started. Some people also argue that questionable elements and dangerous actors found their way into the country because they knew Jonathan was unlikely to respond with the kind of hardline approach other leaders might have used. Whether people agree or not, that perception of him being “too soft” definitely followed him throughout his presidency. So, to many people like me, it was that same softness and weakness that allowed all these elements to operate freely. And that was both his greatest strength and his greatest weakness. Even so, history will still remember him as one of the few Nigerian leaders who placed peace above personal ambition. I like him, and I think he should enjoy his peace in peace. Cc izzou |
larride: ![]() No be the same man which says, he wouldn’t mind if Man United got relegated, as long as they are still above Chelsea in the relegation table, That he would still be satisfied with that. That day I almost laugh my intestine out😂😂😂 |
izzou:Is it not Jonathan’s actions that put us in the mess we have found ourselves in today? (by conceding defeat) Though he stands out as one of the few leaders who still displays genuine human feeling and compassion, he was simply too soft for the kind of ruthless political environment he faced. The reality is that leadership at that level requires firmness, tough decision-making, and the willingness to step on toes when necessary. From what we observed during his administration, he often appeared overly accommodating, too soft to take a bold decision, e.g. calling your opponent and congratulating him even before election was announced, Who does dat? Wetin he dey smoke? (2)He over pampered the northerners with their excesses, perhaps believing it would earn him their support during the election, toorr. 😂 Though he still remains better than all the presidential aspirants we have paraded today in the opposition party. At this stage, it would be best for him to remain in retirement to enjoy his. Life. He has played his part and should just go away from the pressures of public office, he does have shock absorber at all. Personally, I still like him and acknowledge his humanity, even though he disappointed me big time in 2015 when he conceded that defeat. I’ve forgiven him, the wound may have healed, but the memory remains. He’s still my man any day, any time. However, he should quit politics for now. P.S. If he hadn’t conceded defeat, nothing would have happened. Would Buhari have conceded defeat in that same situation if it was him? |
https://www.nairaland.com/8667406/petition-mbappe-leave-real-madrid Petition For Mbappe To Leave Real Madrid Hits Over 30million Signatures 30 million bawo? 😂 I know say people like andrewbaba40 and his crew go dey among the signatures. No be only Madrid fans go sign am, even Madrid haters, rival fans and football trolls sef go rush add their names just for vibes 😂 |
Jamiuokolaa:Exactly. That tactical maturity is what separates elite managers from coaches that are only good when everything is going their way. Luis Erinkeke understands momentum within games perfectly, he knows when to press, when to slow the tempo, and when to kill the game completely. That is exactly what he did to show Kompany who the better manager was. That level of game management is not luck, it is experience and elite coaching intelligence, and he earns my respect yesterday eventhough I don't wish him well😂😂😂😂 but that boy called Kwara Abi na Krava is a beast ooo. |
AirBere: ![]() Na so the game be jare, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I tipped Bayern, e no work out, life goes on. Chelsea still dey my blood, Blues for life no shaking. |
fredoooooo:😂😂😂 |
fredoooooo:It’s Chelsea for life ooo, no doubt about dat. But since PSG knocked us out, there’s no way I’m backing any team that eliminates my club. So in final I will sit on fence ![]() |
This loss pain me as if it was Chelsea that lost. |
AirBere:The ref should be investigated, this kind of officiating should not be encouraged in a match like this, very very disgraceful. ![]() |
