I'm not too sure but I think Barca are saying that De Jong 's current deal, given by the former board, was based on criminality. So even the 17m they owe him may not be paid cos they're alleging the deal that led to the 17m deferred wages was illegal in the first place.

They're saying they can initiate legal action against all involved in the deal - including FDJ himself.
They want him to go back to his old contract

In summary, they want him to either leave or go back to his old salary, foregoing the deferred wages. Failure to do either, and dem go go court, potentially 'staining his white' .
