I've heard things -good things- about you, but I hadn't the time until an hour ago, when I saw your work on The Front Page and I must say that you do a great job. Your story is lovely and leaves me seeking for more of it, just like the work of my Aunt, AudreyTimms. Also the interchange between the first-person and the omnipotent styles are lovely. With this I say... More power to your elbow. P.S: I see that you date the story back to 2010. Would be nice to maintain consistency on technology and development around that time *although I know that you would be very cautious about this, without anybody telling you*.

Dannyxy: if e too pain some people, make dem off their t.v when eagles wan play match..

complacency let us down today, but the lessons have been learnt, we should brace up and get ready to face the next challenge, and I believe we will win, even the Congo, we will win them away, we should learn not to be complacent, we should learn not to underate any team hence prepare well, we have too much quality than congo to have lost today, but then it's the game of football, keshi and the boys should step up their game!

keshi till 2018

Mikel for captain.

Evathyst: It is pple lyk u who celebrate mediocrity dt boosted Keshi's ego. D AFCON trophy was purely a fluke. except u were 2young during EURO 2004,u cld av knwn so 4rm d way d den Greek team achieved d same 'fluked' victory. 2day,whr is Greece? Dt CHAN self, make I no even mention am. Or is it our confedrations cup or world cup performance dt is worth celebrating? Maybe u were 2small when d Eagles of 94,96,& 98 played soccer. Moreso, it's only gamblers dt analyse football based on win & loss. A gud follower of football analyses football tactically. Wit respect to tactics, Keshi is a complete ignoramus. Or how do u explain a coach who selected a world cup team in which thr is no holding midfielder, no dead ball specialist, no natural right back, no attacking midfielder or even a utility player. O boi leave story, Keshi na zombie.
I was swayed on finding out you were a lady. I'm impressed. That you gave such an analysis warrants a double 'gbosa' from me. Back to the matter though. I was hesitant on your terming our AFCON success a fluke, but now that I think of it, maybe...

JEITO: Very poor performance overall

Ejide couldn't control his defenceline. Dude should be in wwe sef

Oboabona. Dey form yobo. For back- notin him sabi

Echiejile couldn't even pass the ball well, let alone defend. No wonder he's always on the Monaco's bench

Omeruo poorly timed tackles.

Ambrose get dis deceiving personality. You'll tink he kws hw to play ball, bt actually he doesn't.

Onazi with him sabi sabi. Attack e no sabi, direct short him no get.

Mikel try shaa, bt nt sharp enough

Oduamadi na short one for 1st half. Up his game in d 2nd but had one too many touches

Musa na tire shoe without brake

Azeez! Hmm!!!

Nwofor na short 2

Igieboh come dey form charman for field. Poor touches, looking uninterested in d game

Emenike try small, bt he's just like cavani: wetin u expect am to do as striker, e no dey do am

Keshi just dey dia, couldn't make any tactical change to the team, yet e dey find 10million.

Mtcheeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwangry
Omo, guys dey para o! grin But you no mention team performance as a whole: Without direction, organisation. Sebi captain suppose dey motivate team. E no surprise me sha; when coach no fit ginger person to play well. The team performed poorly; it made me happy though. That nonsense about Calabar 'slaughterhouse' will finally end. Yippee! smiley grin grin

Djicemob: I have a question for u bro...Do u agree with me that numbers of crappy NW movie are way more numbers of NW good movies? If yes,i think its safe to say that NW is messed up.If NO,then i guess u wanna live in denial which IMO is not good for the good of the industry. We need to task these people to make good movies.More good movies should be made,we don't lack anything to hinder us from making it happen.
I agree.

siverspooon:

you see I think you are very wrong in ur analysis. the problem with Nigeria is dat we take any type of shit in the name of 'we are trying'. which new NW movie are u talking about? even ije which is that biggest NW movie to hit d box office does so because it was shot oversea and to tell u d truth it was a piece of shit. look at half of a yellow sun with all d hypes but to my chagrin it is still a flop. our problem in Nigeria is dat once dia is a slight progress we make we overblow it without knowing dat we are still centuries backward. I don't blame them though its typical african mentality . that's why we always blame d west for our poverty and laziness. and thunde fire anybody who quotes me
I quote u, oya back to sender! grin On a more serious note though. The tale of Nigerian Movie Industry could be equivalent to the story of the entertainment industry, where 'nonsense' sells. I maintain though that there are movies with good stories, which never gained as much fame as some of these crappy films. We need many things, which include the word 'help' in the NMI!

odun4love: NO

I can't never allow my kids to watch Nollywood... Never
What are they teaching us... Yoruba is even worst, every wednesday they release new films ..and come think of it, na baba lawo house them fit like to go or alfa house....
And na so so witch film them like to do.... . If your wife no be witch, ur mother will be witch... Yeye films

Nigerian english film too...they wanna be like holywood, police go hold gun without bullet,... They can film u inside car with the camera shaking....
every yoruba movie? Really? No offense, but that 'fact' sounds falsified. I can tell you that there are good Yoruba movies, without the babalawo and juju aspect.

AudreyTimms: APPRECIATION

My first and foremost gratitude goes to my Inspiration, The Holy Spirit. Thank you for giving me this beautiful gift and for helping me utilize it. Thanks for showing me in my dreams stories to write, thanks for pointing out stories for me to write in people around me. Thanks for always pushing me to go and write and for sitting beside me when I'm writing to give me knew twists and ideas. Above all, thanks for always being with me. I love you, Awesome!

I want to appreciate my husband who stood by me throughout this period. Thank you for never complaining when lunch or dinner came late because I was busy typing. Thanks for never getting tired of my asking if a particular grammar is correct. Thanks also for telling me you are ready to spend your last dime to make sure I achieve my dream of being a renowned writer. Thanks for believing in me even though you couldn't even read up to a chapter of the story and want to wait to read it when its published. I love you.

Gratitude goes to my dear friend repogirl for convincing me to post my story here. Thanks for all the advice you've given me concerning my stories and furthering my writing career. You are a friend indeed! God bless you and your family.

Appreciation goes to Arc. Oluwaseun Olagunju, my Prof. I have to give you the title of 'My Greatest Fan' because you were indeed that. I appreciate your insights, corrections, prayers, encouragement and jokes. Thanks also for being my manager.

I want to appreciate Larrysun for being the first to comment on the thread even though I didn't see him again after that. Your comment on spacing my paragraphs really helped. Thanks.

Thanks also to Costlybabe. You were the second person to comment on the thread at a time I was already losing hope. Your comment of 'super story' made me continue posting. Thanks dear.

I also appreciate incredibleme for posting my thread on other threads without fear of repercussion which probably got my story to the front page. I appreciate you.

your point? This thread celebrates women who defied odds to do lovely things. You sha wan relegate woman by force to kitchen mode, abi?

Okinjay: Audrey mehn, you are just the best. Nice update. Although what's amusing me is the fact that after all has been said and done,Dave has the guts to be forming anger and Oleng is behaving as if the mistake she made is more grievious than the deceit and pure callousness(if there's anything like that) of Dave.*smh*. Love can be stupid at times sha. *drops mic in anger*
. Well its not Oleng's fault. She committed adultery, and she is emotionally fragile, so you cannot blame her. As for Dave, if he does not take care of this,"I'ma be switching over to #TeamOlengAndEric grin, although I've been neutral all through this.
