ComeCarry: A good showing by Team Nigeria, especially by the Women's Athletics team.
It was particularly pleasing that they acheived all this and we didn't hear anyone complaining about Bonus or ask the Government to fly cash to them in Glasgow! . Word brother... Except for the kits |

Toluwarni: It isn't. The word may be censored because some people take the view that casual use of divine names and titles, especially in exclamations and such (such as ubiquitous squeals of "Oh My God!" , violates religious prohibitions (such as the third of the Ten Commandments in the Christian tradition). . I agree with you. |

The truth, Tessy has a huge problem. I thought she claimed her parents could sponsor her through her education, and she never acted as a sister to Oleng; she never liked her. She brought this on herself, Oleng did not do anything to her. Any ways, Oleng is a fighter. She'll survive, I know. 1 Like |

That word has become a swear/oath. The movies I've often seen the censorship often make use of God as such. |

Guk: Unfortunately, no tears for them in the so called Nollywood. It was never a sustainable enterprise as they never had proper structures in place. It was just an enterprise that provided quick and easy money to a very small group of producers and actors/actresses but as they lined their pockets, they didnt think it was neccessary to put a proper organisation in place, so mediocrity was the order of the day and no enterprise survives long term on mediocrity.
Nollywood was hyped up; They were ranking themselves wt Hollywood and Bollywood...Jokers!; Actors/Actresses were living expensively; Soft Cell magazines were magnifying them and their heads went on a spin unaware that a simply organised venture will bring them down like a pack of cards. (Reminds me of the 3 little pigs and the wolf)
Right now, its even more difficult for them to bounce back because the never had structures in place. If you doubt it, go look for a music track that came out abt 3 years ago titled "Waka Pass". It summarises legacy Nollywood. Sorry, RIP . Makes sense |
