Romance › Nairalanders Over To You Guys by Mortiano(op): 8:42am On Dec 18, 2015*. Modified: 9:18am On Dec 18, 2015 |
still on my question: is it proper for a dad to bath a ten year old daughter lol, i'm uncle to this said girl, the mother is my sister, d reason for opening this thread is not even that angle, defiling things, or being a pervert, far from it the fact is the man is at home, only pampering dis girls, n left the to be toiling herself... how on earth can a man decide to be taking care of house chores, instead being outside there fending for the family.... dis morning, he decided that it is bathing a old girl he will do, I had to quarrel with him, cos I paid a visit last night... some blame me, while others did not, so I decided to ask nairalanders weather this is proper, because to me I see it absurd, a ten year old should be taking Care of herself. I don't him to over pamper dis girl to tge extent of turning out like him, in near future |

mannobi: Ugo Chikieze wrote :
THE BAYELSA ELECTION, A LESSON FOR THE IGBOS: I have been following events in the Bayelsa state since Saturday and I think it's high time we Igbos woke up and learn our lessons. What is happening in Bayelsa state shows that the Bayelsans have moved on. They are no longer tied to the apron of PDP and GEJ. That state is one of the smallest states in the country and it's the home state of the former president (GEJ), yet the result of the election held since Saturday have not been announced officially till now. I thought the PDP would have swept off the whole votes just like they did during the presidential election, but to my amazement the APC is also gathering considerable votes there. I know PDP may eventually emerge winner in the election, but my point is that we Igbos should wake up and stop crying more than the bereaved cos even the bereaved have moved on. Other regions have moved on and have even started integrating themselves into this PMB administration to ensure they remain relevant and not schemed out if things, while some of my people are still holding themselves down and throwing hate speeches here and there. Other region are already preparing for 2019, some are already gearing up for 2023, while my people have failed to arise and shake off GEJ and his failed administration. By 2019 now, we will begin to run helter-skelter and start last minute preparation and when we loose again, we will say we are hated by others but we forget that we are the ones holding ourselves down now that others are already preparing ahead. The Igbos have enjoyed more "juicy" appointments in the past 16 years of this democratic dispensation, yet none of the appointees or elected officials performed exceptional well for us to present him/her as presidential candidate. But look at the likes of Fashola, Fayemi, Kwakwanso, El Rufai, etc they are all potential presidential candidates going forward cos their achievements speak for them. Tell me the achievements of. Orji Uzor Kalu, T.A Orji, Sam Egwu, Chimaroke Nnamani, Mbadinuju, etc.... none of them made a mark in their various states, yet we leave them and keep pointing fingers to other regions and saying they are our problem. I advise we wake up and begin to align ourselves strategically with other region now cos we can never produce a president in this country if we continue like this. While some misguided elements are busy shouting Biafra, and claiming that South south is part of their Biafra, the southsouth have denounced the whole Biafra thing publicly and I understand that just last weekend, Nyesom Wike of River State, named a stadium in River State after Yakubu Gowon. Does that not tell you something ? The golden rule says 'DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WILL LIKE THEM TO DO UNTO YOU'..... Love begat love, hate begat hate. Don't expect love from others when you give them hatred, don't expect them to vote for your candidate when you keep calling them animals that live in the zoo. "Give and it shall be given unto you" whatever you give to others is what they will give back to you GOOD MEASURES, PRESSED DOWN, SHAKING TOGETHER AND RUNNING OVER. He who has ears let him hear, Wisdom is profitable to direct.... I rest my case... Ugo, as ur name indicated, let me begin to corr you, using bayelsa as ur yardstick to judge who have move or not is wrong. do you expect PDP to have upright win when the two contestants are from the same state... how can you compare National loyalty with that of state... you raise some salient points about the igbo past leaders, but I must say you r bias in your judgement... you fail to point to great igbo leaders who have achieved more than ur so called sw and northern elites.... with that I will conclude that your analysis is false and shouldn't be regarded... there is nothing to learn from bayelsa election, except the two parties tested dia popularity among the locals |

in as much this is not good.. PDP should exercise some patience, the tribunal is there for them to redress the issue, if it turns out to be true... but APC silent in all these issues make me to wonder, if they are truly progressive |

Politics › Re: Buhari First Blunder Why I Oppose Relocation Of Military Command-ifeduba by Mortiano(m): 8:56pm On May 29, 2015 |
ifedubatoochukw: President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Abuja directed the central command of the military to relocate to Maiduguri, Borno, to intensify the fight against Boko Haram insurgency.
Buhari, who gave the directive in his address after his inauguration, said it was impossible to achieve victory against the insurgents if the command continued to operate from Abuja.
He said that the command center would relocate and remain in Maiduguri until the insurgents were subdued.
No where in the History of world military History will the military central command be located right in the combat zone it is the height of unprofessional-ism which is about to force me to revisit the issue of Buhari certificate scandal. let us use the United state of America model as a case study .
Military Central command are non combatants they are not infantry units but expertise from various field of course
Structure
Central Command headquarters staff directorates include personnel, intelligence, operations, logistics, plans & policy, information systems, training & exercises, and resources, and other functions. The intelligence section is known as Joint Intelligence Center, Central Command, or JICCENT, which serves as a Joint Intelligence Center for the co-ordination of intelligence. Under the intelligence directorate, there are several divisions
In the United State the Central Military Command directs four "service component commands" and one subordinate unified command and no fighting units directly subordinate to it:
The United States Army Central (USARCENT), and the United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT), both headquartered at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, the U.S. Marine Forces Central Command (USMARCENT), headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida and the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (USNAVCENT), headquartered at Naval Support Activity Bahrain in the Kingdom of Bahrain. MacDill Air Force Base also hosts a Sub-unified command called the Special Operations Command Central (USSOCCENT).
In 1983, U.S. Military Central Command was established to succeed the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force, formed at MacDill AFB, Florida on 1 March 1980, to handle US national security interests in Southwest Asia, Central Asia and the Persian G
The USA Central Military Command main headquarters is located at MacDill Air Force Base, in Tampa, Florida. A forward headquarters was established in 2002 at Camp As Sayliyah in Doha, Qatar, which in 2009 transitioned to a forward headquarters at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar to serve American strategic interests interest in the following countries as the Area of Responsibilty.
Area of Responsibility Countries for USA Central Military Command Located in Mac Dill Air force Base in Tampa Florida..
Afghanistan Bahrain Egypt Iraq Jordan Kazakhstan Kuwait Kyrgyzstan Lebanon Oman Pakistan Qatar Saudi Arabia Tajikistan Turkmenistan U.A.E. Uzbekistan Yemen
Tactically its a great Blunder for Mr Buhari to relocated the Military Central command right into sambisa forest when he knew quite well that these people are non combatants they are not infantry soldiers and their area of responsibilty covers a wider area than just boko haram. they monitor , deploy and protect both Nigeria air land and water from both internal and external aggression.
Relocating Nigeria military Central Command to frontline war zone is the most senseless decision any president have ever taken and such action is capable of endangering Nigeria external security an outside force may invade the nation of Nigeria in time like these..
This wrong decision calls for us to revisit Buhari certificate scandal and how he come about his title of Major General when he is incapable of simple kindergarten Military Decision
