You can proceed with your Ph.D at NOUN.
What really matters is the quality of your research! NOUN is an approved tertiary institution in Nigeria as published in the National Universities Commission(NUC) website.
So, you are safe! Just make sure your Ph.D research work will solve "unanswered questions".

I think Nigerians are backward thinking people. Your NOUN degree is valid internationally so why not try abroad for your PhD after obtaining your M.ed here. By the time you come back, if you want to come back, you would be more appreciated.

I work with one of the Federal University as a non teaching staff. I'm currently rounding off my m.ed program with the National Open University of Nigeria. I also intend to proceed further with my PhD as I wish to convert to teaching staff.
Is NOUN a good place for me to do my PhD or I should do it in the conventional University? Academics in the house, please advise.

In Unical, EAA was paid to non academic staff for 2012 only.u can imagine the kind of Union leaders we have.From 2013 till 2020, no shishi for us!

Bro am not new just wanted to share information I got thinking I was helping but truth be told things are so bad now that we are even suspicious of our own shadow, but as I stated earlier you can call the number and verify it before calling me names or just read the post and move on ..

yea, things are so bad that we can't even trust anything or anyone.my colleague sent me a number like that to call yesterday saying that it was an IPPIS customer care number. I followed the instructions and finally had a conversation with a lady.I supplied my IPPIS and account numbers to of which she told me it was a system error affecting many staff.
Not too satisfied I searched the number I used in calling with true caller and found out it's connected to alpa technologies.i called the number I found on their website and they confirmed to me that they provide services to IPPIS. na there my mind take calm down oo.

I and my colleague just woke up this morning to see alert of our December salaries.

it's risky out there but we shouldn't condemned everything/everyone.peace
