There was/is never any war the almighty USA had/will fight against terrorists without with the participation of her allies. Stop displaying your stupidity here just because you want to comment.
Help me ask oooo... somepeeps on this forum are more military than Buhari. He knows more than anyone else that you can't battle alone. He simply said the NA must lead the battle instead of the foreign troops leading our battles for us.

Point of correction, he didn't say it was a shame to seek cooperation, he said te Nigerian army must lead the battle instead of foreign soldiers.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Walk The Talk (apc Manifesto At A Glance) by MosquitoREBIRTH(m): 4:20pm On Jun 01, 2015
swit4real:
I am a bit apprehensive about this manifesto, because the first item on the manifesto (Public declaration of assets and liabilities) has been encumbered. Buhari declared his asset secretly before bureau for statistics. He then said that those who are interested should contact bureau for statistics through freedom of information bill.
Code of Conduct Bureau na secret cult?
PoliticsRe: Ijaw Youths Criticize Buhari’s Comment On Termination Of Amnesty by MosquitoREBIRTH(m): 8:45am On Jun 01, 2015
Ymodulus:

Vanguard and Sensational Journalism. So much for media house in Nigeria of today!

Vanguard! Buhari never set a date to end amnesty programme. Buhari simply stated that it is due to end in Dec, 2015. Buhari said and I quote:

"The amnesty programme in the Niger Delta is due to end in December, but the Government intends to invest heavily in the projects, and programmes currently in place."

Buhari said the program is due to end! He didn't say he is ending it. It means the program already has a lifespan even before Buhari came on board and he clearly stated that his administration will build heavily on the programs.

Pls stop misinforming the public and twisting words for sensationalism.

And on a side note, the Amnesty program is a useless program aiding the nin-challant and lackadaisical nature of the Niger - Deltan Youths. In no sane Economy will Grants/Helps be Barterlised in exchange to terrorist in other for them to drop their arms.

Terrorism will spill over if you don't speak up. - Malala Yousafzai
That's how the media has always been. Which is why Buhari stamped them in the 80s... They'll never report facts all in the name of, "I want to sell my news"...

What concerns CCB with Public Asset Declaration? He doesn't need to start reading (is that what Yaradua did?). All he needs to do is to send copy of same information he gave the CCB along with Press Statement. That's all!
Is he leaving office this morning? Or has he told you he won't make it public? Why are you guys faster than your shadows? You guys should chill now, we'll all hold him to his words when he fails to keep his promise. We're all Nigerians and we want the best for all of us. All we need to do, is to be reasonable and allow him to make it public and not shouting 3 days after handover.

It's no LIE by law, declaring with CCB means you've publicly declared. The only thing working against him is the Nigerian understanding of public declaration which to them is publishing it on the pages of newspapers.

I think Nigerians should give them the benefit of the doubt, I mean what's the worse that could happen ??

I'm sure it will hit the papers if not today, within the week. Even Olisah Metuh knows this and that's why he's keeping mute on the issue for now.
Seriously I bow for Nigerians ooo... Nigerians claim they know everything while in true sense, they know nothing. They expect the man to go on Punchng.com and start reading his assets... smh.. I advice people to visit the CCB website and know what Public declaration means. Nigerians dey fall hand I swear..

People didn't disturb GEJ 48 hours after swearing in because he did not promise heaven heaven and earth or promise the populace magical dissapearance of Nigeria's problems a few minutes after assuming presidency.

So if people are expecting miracles after 48 hour, it is because he promised it
OK. Oya show me where he said he was gonna solve Nigeria's problems and keep all his promises in 48hrs? I know u want I'm to fail but that doesn't mean u'll lie against the man na... let's just be reasonable and count 100 days or better still, 6 months.

LOL! But, you guys never said so in Goodluck's time.

Oh! So now there is a procedure for declaration of assets in Buhari's regime?

But, you all condemned Goodluck who followed the right procedure and wanted him to go a step further by making it public.

Now, why changing tune?
Show me where people shouted and disturbed GEJ 48hrs after swearing in to declare assets PUBLICLY and i'll tell you how wrong you are.

Kayode needs to shut the f*ck up.

I don't understand his rush about being so overly critical about the government that's barely 48hours old.

He's been going around displaying his ignorance.

The process/timeline for assets declaration has been clearly explained by learned folks so what's this old man's problemhuh huh

Today, he was called out and shamed on twitter for claiming that PMB hasn't reacted to the recent Boko Haram bombings when in actual fact he has.

He's too much in a hurry to be seen as "holding PMB to account". He should swallow a chill pill abegi. No be only him vote PMB or carry PMB for head. Awitan, he's even based in the UK. Even people living and working fulltime in Nigeria are giving PMB and his new government time to settle down.

I will be unfollowing him on twitter very soon. Very annoying someborry angry angry sad
You're very right. I don't know what is wrong with Nigerians again ooo, I think we're finally going mad. He has not said he won't declare it publicly, he's just about to settle down nd people are already disturbing our peace? Freedom of Speech na nonsense I swear!!

Appointments should be based on merit. I had expected the President to have penciled down his team since March 30th but it appears he hasnt still come to terms that he is now the President of Nigeria. APC as it is constituted is a disoriented nepotistic crackhouse that should allow the Daura President to think straight and make priority appointments based on merit.
You seem to be very sure he hasn't pencilled them down already... But tell yourself the truth for once na, how do u think the names ain't ready? All those guys re just unsettled because they haven't been able to know who nd who are in the list. If you still dey vex say Buhari na President now, that one concern you sha....

We celebrate ignorance with joint high level of stupidity and sentiments..... The young man wrote a wonderful stuff with a very clear fact .... You are here talking nonsense.... Military is military.... Imagine moving pentagon to combat zone or moving Israeli war room to combat zone .... It was a total down for the PMB .... .... He who thinks he knows it all end up not achieving nothing.... He needs sound and young people for advice .... A call like this shows he is so rusty and has nothing to offer.
After all your ranting and shouting, you ended up making a fool of yourself. Where was it stated that the CENTRAL command center will be moved? Don't you know that every military operation has a COMMAND CENTER setup? Do u think if there is a "break-out" or insurgency in the SW now, there will be another Command? center setup?

Buhari did not relocate the command centre to another country according to your argument. The relocation of the command centre will send a strong message to Boko haram that its not business as usual. And besides, its not like its the whole military that was relocated there, its just a section of it.
IMO, I don't even think the moving ofthe military HQ actually means moving it, me think it's literary just to say that the full fight will be taken to BH in full weight...

I want to use this opportunity to thank Buhari for fulfilling his promise to scrap d office of d first lady.
By the way can we remember that picture of wale tinubu and Aishat together in a private jet.
That is how it all started with paticient Jonathan.
We nigerians are the people ascribe too much power and recognition to these women called first lady and by the time they grow wings we will start to complain.
I don't see why wale tinubu suddenly became Co traveler with Aishat to oshiom0le's wedding that Aishat husband Buhari will attend all in d name of lobby.
I think Buhari suspect this and he called his wife to order.
The political cabals caused d arrogance of our first ladies expecially pej. They make them feel important because they now fail to realise if u give women 1 mile to go they will run 100 miles.
Cudos to my new president. Though am not Buhari fan but I am beginning to love him for his policy
I pray for him to live long in good health to pilot this country to her promise land. Amen
You deserve a round of applause for this piece. You're so reasonable and you think beyond what ordinary Nairalanders think. THANK YOU...
