yinkeys:
So it’s fake news

Doesn't look real to me. The first thing Arsenal usually do in transfer is to discuss with the player and agree personal terms with him. Reverse is the case from the screenshot posted here.

Arsenal might later go for him but I doubt the news currently circulating.

It is the way Italian media started fabricating the Arsenal news just so Chelsea or PSG can pay up.
Make we dey look sha

I watched Fermin's goals yesterday. That boy is a gem. See better goal na. How about playing him as a false 9? Let him just roam about.

daveP:
Osimhen rumors revived

Even though Osimhen na my country man, abeg make Arsenal pass. He is good but his injury record is the issue. We still get Gabriel Jesus o

yinkeys:
Morocco have France number
I think Morocco plays France in the final

I don't really fancy North African NTs but Morocco dey ball abeg. Tipping them to make the final and even win the cup. Morocco vs France

SamueItem337:
How the fuçk did this happen

I think it is a qualifier for U18. In their last match against Ghana, the Ghana girls refused to come out for the last quarter. The beating too much.

David Raya is back in training. I wonder what is holding Ramsdale. It will be so sad to see him go sha but it is what it is.

PDPGuy:
Zambia were desperately unlucky to be eliminated from the group stage despite scoring 6 goals

They had no business losing that Australia game. From 5-2 FFS. Just pack the damn trailer. With Barbara Banda upfront, it will be difficult for Australian defenders to freely join the attack.

Odegaard has till Tuesday to decide if he wants the #10 shirt. Maybe Merino is closer than we think

Jodera:
Lol, not so bad if it's true sha.

But what do you think about the signing?
Sometimes I do peruse Barca thread and I see them complaining about how he can't beat player one on one or how is play is subpar.

I believe you do watch Barca match sometimes, what do you think?

He is just there TBH. The only reason he is starting ahead of Yamal is due to age. But if Arteta wants him, nothing we can do.

Three things Edu looks out for in a player.

What THREE things Edu Gaspar looks for when signing a new player. 💭

Randy and excuses sha..
A team can still play well and lose and we will say they tried at least.

The team I watched in the Olympics look like one without a coach. Let's not even start talking about his questionable substitutions.

Deltamani:
Former Flamingos Defender, Omamuzo Edafe now With Arkansas State University Team in the US

Former Flamingos defender and FIFA U17 World Cup 2022 Bronze medalist, Omamuzo Edafe is now with Arkansas State (USA) University team, Red Wolves Soccer.

The Dependable Right Back joined the side after her exploits at the World Cup in India, where she scored the winning penalty against USA in the quarterfinals.

Omamuzo wears jersey number 24 for her team. She has graduated to the Falconets under Christopher Danjuma and got invitations for the African Games in Ghana and the World Cup qualifiers.

Wow... I could remember her missing a crucial penalty for us in that world cup. All the best to her.

Jodera:
I read so too. Heard Gyokeres is currently injured but will soon be back and that Sporting have dropped their price to 58/60m pounds.

Make we dey look Sha.

Yea.. another thing is he might sign a wide forward instead if he can't find any striker.
The Raphina rumour is rising again. Barcelona has financial issues and with Yamal in the team, they might be forced to sell. That's the conspiracy going about.

Jodera:
If this is the formation then I'll expect more from Martinelli this season too.

Calafiori who can push attack, Merino/Rice (depending on who plays , who can push attack too.

Hopefully, last season Martinelli is just a blip

I think the fact that our left hand side was not stable throughout last season affected Martinelli. Now that we have Calafiori and Merino(probably) , Martinelli should be able to cook.

daveP:
Truly we need that striker. Can't rely on Kai. Let new 9 be cake and Kai the icing or decor.

Lol...Baba is looking for an elite striker not just any striker. Somebody that can singlehandedly influence a game. Rumours are saying Gyokeres. All the best to him sha.

Jodera:
Yeah, let's just see whether that's what he'll do sha cos personally, I no too get qualms with that.

What do you think about Partey?
Do you think if Partey is staying we need another DM or is him and jorgi enough to see us throughout the season?

Arteta doesn't like an overbloated squad. He has often emphasize this. I don't see him signing another DM until Partey leaves. If Partey stays, he might just back up Rice with Merino as 8. Make Partey sef try and stay fit. He is one of the best lone DMs out there.

Jodera:
Let's Sha don't try to do nonsense the way we did last season with Partey at Rb. Any of Jesus or Martinelli, I can manage even though I deeply wanted a good left footed player. I just don't want to see Viera there biko

Thank God you mentioned Partey. You clearly understand what I'm driving at. Once Arteta start started playing Martinelli in RW in the last 2 or 3 matches last season, I don know wetin dey baba's mind.

Looks like Merino is almost home.

The next on the list will be a striker. That one go hard sha.

On this Saka's deputy talk, anybody who pay attention to Arteta will always know his intention. Towards last season, do you think Arteta just played Martinelli on RW for the fun of it? Nah.

From my POV, Jesus will play more as a winger this season. Havertz and a new striker will probably rotate.

Moaning and moaning repeating the same thing over and over. SMH

humberjade:
That defence had Ashleigh Plumptre not a shambolic Okeke, and the Alozie we had back then is not the one we have now (this one is damn too sluggish and clueless).

1. Normally, Alozie was converted to RB. She is a winger.

2. Alozie is not sluggish and clueless

3. It is the duty of your coach to source for proper cover in defence.

ThePresenceWtf:
No Matter what the stupid NFF's have done ( I know, those Nincompoops are the worse ) Randy has to go. This is his level, his ceiling..... He can't move us any further than this.... The only other trajectory from here on is downwards. He has taken US to 3 Tournaments now including some friendlies and qualifiers and
1. We still don't have any pattern of play with the ball.
2. Wrong and terrible Subs every game
3. Players not improving ( Okay maybe Deborah )
4. Even our defensive plays have no pattern in them....Just Individuals diving into tackles and putting their bodies on the line.
5. Wrong/Unbalanced Team Selections every time.
6. Nepotism left, right, center
7. Any form of Attacking Play seem to have retired or relocated away from the team...

Bro... I pointed all these out during his fight against those media people. I said that he has nothing to offer us. Everybody here were referencing that win against Australia in the last world cup. The team doesn't look well coached but na players we dey blame.

Unlimited22:
After this I dey go watch this Chelsea wey no Sabi their left from their right.

Blood of Jesus

U17 and U20 dey bro..

Unlimited22:
Did Nicole Payne somehow offend Randy?

What does Chidimma Okeke have on him? Why is she playing?

Baba go soon bring in Onumonu. Save your energy boss.

humberjade:
Next thing nah to sack this coach make we look for more competent one. How can you have a team that can't string passes together, can't hold possession, and can't control the ball. Their performances at this Olympics are shambolic to say the least.

No o.. Randy can do no wrong. Have you forgotten our defence is like a wall of Jericho that can't be penetrated?

ObaIgwe1:
Honestly I agree with you on this.... The loos good money we could have made is panful. Our academy management need to improve their business sense.

Talents shouldn't be walking away free from our academy. This is bad and I hope they are learning.

Although Chido Obi sparkling performances came in the last season of his contract and he did not give room for renewal and opportunity for Arsenal to make gains on him. I expect our academy management would have learnt from this loses and do better going forward.

About the money aspect, we can't rule out the players' factor too.
Balogun went on loan, performed well and we got 40m for him. ESR is going for 35m now and could have been more if he had managed to stay fit and play.

Now consider Patino's performance on loan for instance, imagine demanding 30m for him. This is also part of the issue.

Edu himself knew this is worrisome that's why he has been inserting sell-on clauses in their contracts lately.

Leyqute:
Giving exceptional talents opportunities is not trial and error. The sensible thing for any club is to give their academy guys the best environment to reach their highest potentials. If an exceptional talent is miles ahead of his teammates, the onus lies on the club to promote him so he can improve.

That’s how to breed world beaters, not stifle their growth in the name of “gradually grooming them”

I’m only reporting on what I’ve heard and read and commenting on them. What’s clear is that the kid hasn’t been given the barest minimum of assurances. For a supposed top club, that’s really poor.

Asking them to be fast tracked into the first team and see if they fail is a trial and error method. It is based on uncertainty. You are practically setting them up to fail. You do know how devastating that can be to the young players? Gradually introducing player to the men's football is not in anyway stiffling their growth sir. A lot of our academy boys were getting praises in our last two matches. How long do you think they have been training with the first team?

And the key word here is 'Exceptional'. How many of these players can be termed as exceptional? To some Arsenal fans, once you're in academy, you must play first team football by fire by thunder. They don't take into consideration these kids' performances at academy level.

It is laughable how you come to the conclusion that Arsenal didn't give the boy the barest minimum of assurances. 15k as wage, promotion to U21, an occasional training with the first team and the coach even personally sat down and discuss with the boy. Maybe you have other suggestions sha

I foresaw these defensive lapses before the tourney which is why I suggested playing 5 at the back. Well, it is good it ended so fast. Make today no reach 5 abeg. Make we go home without getting disgraced abeg.

GeneralDae:
This is what I’m talking about.

“As Minister of Sports, I will not tolerate this utter recklessness. It is highly inexcusable, and there will be thorough sanctions after investigations into where and from whom this gross negligence originated. All parties must take their duties very seriously. The current way of operating the Federal Ministry of Sports Development does not allow for incompetence at any level”.

Senator John Owan Enoh.

I'll be surprised if real action follow this talk. No be Nigeria we dey again?

Deltamani:
Canada WNT soccer appeal dismissed

I kukuma said it that the punishment was too lenient. They should have been sent home. Imagine spying on other team's training session. That is a dirty act.

germaphobe:
For someone who was showing promising talent with the u16(where he actually scored all the goals that made round and not with u18 as being speculated by some), he was offered a contract with the u18 with playing time with u21 and also playing time and training sessions with the first team as the season goes on.

May God bless you bro. They wanted a certain amount that Arsenal was not willing to pay. They now made a U-turn to say the move was not financially motivated.

Na wetin dey divide Arsenal fans be this.

daveP:
Haba na. E no connect na.

Since we know how he does them, would you want to still lean into this School of thought?

If he does trust Ethan, it will shock all of us because that would mean he has finally done a big u-turn from his own norm. That's the exception hence.

Till then, we use what we see on ground to make decisions. Esp with the two we see are linked Merino and Ruiz. That's Arteta still. Not me!

E connect bro. If we add two more midfielders as suggested by you, e go affect Ethan.

Playing Ethan won't shock anybody. He was the one who gave the lad his debut at 16.
