In the individual sprints athletes still stick to their lanes with infractions being seriously punished.

What you probably saw that you're referring to is the 4x400 relay whereby after the first baton exchange athletes can then converge to the first lane.

All the long distance races I've witnessed also start off on the last lane.
Yea.. Exactly! I'm talking about the races involving baton exchange. Why are lane infractions allowed?

There's something that always baffle me during track events. Growing up, we're always warned to stay on our respective lanes. But now i do notice athletes moving to the first lane regardless of the lane assigned to them. Abeg i need clarification

The rule is not the issue, consistency and discretion are the major issue.
I remember when they made the rule about players playing the ball after referee blow the whistle. We got punished for it (Rice and Trossard) . I don't think that rule is effective anymore.

Arteta, Jover and the boys should be prepared. I need 30 set piece goals this season. Make their mind dey

Baba, I no see your analysis about our game o.
I was able to watch only the first half. Madugu got it wrong yesterday with his lineup.
When you're facing an opponent like the Chawingas, you do not bench your most physical midfielder.

He expected us to dominate hence playing Ajibade and Joe in midfield.
And the attack, Rinsola should be starting. Those heavy touches from Ijamilusi really disrupted our quick transition. Then Alozie at LB? She tried but she really struggled there.

In defence, Ohale should be retiring soon I'm sorry. She's no longer that fast and imposing Ohale we know. Deltamani always drop a name here - Maureen. About time she gets her call.

I just hope the girls qualify.

The likes of Manchester City are willing to pay way beyond Arsenal in wages for academy players. That outlay does NOT count towards the Premier League’s financial rules, so clubs can, to a degree, throw what they want at these youngsters.

Mail Sport understands Mishel Nduka’s (16) deal at Manchester City includes a salary of £20k-a-week, which puts him on around £1m-a-year. Jeremy Monga (17), meanwhile, is understood to be on a much more lucrative wage.

Arsenal’s stance is that they are unwilling to pay salaries they believe are disproportionate for players yet to play senior top-flight football. Their focus is on development, building a genuine career pathway & potential re-sale value. ❌💰 [@IsaanKhan_]

I wanted to say it here few days ago but people might misunderstood me. Female referees can sometimes be too harsh while interpreting the law.

Exactly! Let's cut our loss in Viera by selling him at a reduced price to either teams in Portugal or Spain. And Nelson should be offered to any mid table or newly promoted EPL team at a reduced pice make space dey for this team jàre.

If they leave, even if we don't sign some big players to replace them we can promote some decent academy boys to replace them as squad players. We never know if we are stunting the growth of the next best stars of the team.by continuing to register Nelson and Viera as squad players every year.
I don't think any of the duo has been on the team sheet for two years now though.

What matters most in football is trophy, identity or whatever is secondary.

I'm saying this just by watching the South African women. They play just like their male counterparts. Aimless tikitaka and inshallah.

While some are building identity, another person fit use driver's license to collect cup. 😂

Is Victor Osimhen coming to Chelsea?.

It may just happen in August.

Let us watch and see.
Only to be replaced with 35 years old Danny Welbeck.
