If we lose it, we lose it honorably.
No respect for dirty spurs.
We have challenged for the title twice now. What do we need next season, do better and get perfect. yes we can and we will!!! That is it bro! Had Spurs won yesterday, the clowns here would still question Arsenal's mentality saying Spurs was the one who won the league for us. |

TheGoodJoe: It is not the statement that matters but explaining how. I have told you we did not. I have explained how.
We repeatedly pressed in the game. Kept the keeper under pressure to clear out.
We committed players. Even the Son's miss blows hole into that Manchester City parked bus.
Look at the image below of when Son got the ball. Is this a parked bus setup?
Learn or argue. Without even searching online, I can mention that 2-0 win against City. You came here to rant that Arsenal parked the bus and didn't come out to play. I countered you then. City played the same way yesterday and won but it is not bus parking. |

TheGoodJoe: Get the point, so you can stay coherent with it. I said when the team comes into the match with the idea to sit back to win, it is park bus.
If Real Madrid or Arsenal does it that way, it is parked bus. Yesterday, we did not park bus because we tried to press, control the game and go on the offensive repeatedly. We committed players.
Remember how high we were when Son stole the ball from Akanji. How can anyone say we were parking the bus? Understand before jumping in. One thing you need to understand is you don't know it all. Your team parked the bus yesterday. You may choose to decorate or twist the words how much you can. Fact still remain that City parked the bus yesterday. If another team had played the way City played yesterday, you would have come here to tell us how they parked the bus and didn't come out to play. |

komekn: If you go back I used the Latin term, ceteris parabus, all things being equal, as a proviso.
KC signed for Leicester city from Manchester city primarily on potential for £25 million. As a young player he will sign a 5 year contract or thereabouts with incremental clauses % increases tied to longevity and performance.
That means his salary will go up irrespective of performance and until the contract expires as well as depending on what clauses are in that contract.
KC had been at Leicester city and had been in general poor. He had one good season in 2020/21 he scored 12 goals from 25 games. Leicester expectations arose and they extended it, with improved terms. Well since then he has reverted back to being poor.
In 2018/19 he played 30 games and scored 1 goal
CanIl l ask you do you think considering his performance over the past 7 seasons at Leicester City, is he an Exceptional player and if you do on what basis.
KC statistics point to retrogression not progression.
But he has a contract that has only now expired,do you think Leicester City want renew it
Eberechi Eze is earnings much less than Olise , because Olise had better contract terms but who is better
If you know nothing it's better to be silent and it will be assumed you know. You are making misguided assumptive notions from crass ignorance. Thank you! You have answered tiur own question. Do you see why you can't use salary to compare two different players. Some of the them have incremental clause in their contract. |

Finito. But if na another team, you will come here and tell us this is not football. The same way Arsenal remain compact at the back and beat you at the Emirates but you're here fuming saying Arsenal didn't come to play. |

TheGoodJoe: Another hate statement against Amunike. You do not know his mind or the actions he would have taken if given the job. By the way, when Osimhen did his first trial with the U17, Amunike was not convinced but his assistant told Amunike that Osimhen was good and deserves a look in. Amunike listened to his assistant and gave Osimhen another chance and the rest was history.
If Amunike was a man filled with pride, he would not have listened to an assistant who opposed his view.

Arteta came in and stabilize everything. There were too much toxicity in the dressing room at that time. He cleared out the 'deadwoods', reestablish the connection between the fans and the club, and got us among the elites again. Along the way, he made some tough and strange decisions that we the fans were not comfortable with but see where it brought us. Looking at the trajectory and the different phases of development he tabled before the board, it can only get better from here. Losing the league to City twice is terrible, and we all have the right to be angry at him. But nobody is overpraising him.
Man specifically stated that last season was when we were supposed to be competing for top four. Like we were supposed to be fighting for top 4 but we competed with City for the title. That only means we're on the right path. Those against him said we won't be competing again this year because United and Chelsea would be competing too. How has that ended up please? |

TBH, the problem is not that Emery is not good enough. The issue is that he lacks that charisma to handle a big team. And that he found himself at a club having deep mentality issues. There is a reason why Arsenal's coaching job at that time was tagged the most difficult job. Most of his success have come when managing small teams. He once threw a 4 goal lead against Barca if I'm right.
BTW, Arsenal's issues starting from Wenger's last years are mainly based on mentality. There are off field issues which I think Emery was not prepared to handle. |

iamoyindamola: Now you are saying the truth Now let's remind 2 seasons ago, we were in pole position to finish in UCL position somehow we lost the position to spuds 3 matches to the end of the season
Verdict - Arteta was inexperienced and learning let's give him chance
Last season we led the league for 83% of the season the longest any club will and not win the league
Verdict - pep is a strong competitor , we saw how he won the league 3 times. He's the best bla bla bla
Did pep tell us to bottle the league, be sincere with yourself At one point even pep admitted the league was gone, until we handed it over to them It's all there in their treble documentary
This season, even though I thought LFC bottled this one We still have chance ourselves but guess what we lost to villa but pep pep pep is still the fvcking excuse Omo my head wan burst, shey na only pep they the league If we do our own them no born pep well to supercede us All we have to do is do our part but pep is the reason we lost to westham, Fulham and villa
In conclusion, why do you want me to trust a serial bottler who we will rather use pep to excuse for He bottled top 4 He bottled the league, now he's co-bottling the league in collaboration with klopp
First half of the season city were shit with our kdb The 'Pep excuse' you and your fellow fans conjured up and brought here. Is there anybody here who didn't criticize the team when we lost that match against Villa? Were you not here when we're discussing about matches that could have changed the season for us but we didn't get the required result? Were you not on his thread when we're discussing about how VAR also affected is greatly this season? I really don't know where you all brought this Pep excuse though |

You know what I feel really happened to Klopp?
He ran out of steam.
He ran out of the pleasure of doing this over and over again with a robot who made his managerial achievement seem so ordinary.
I believe his decision in part had to do with Manchester city and Guardiola.
He just couldn't anymore.
There's a way a man will beat you to your target every year, there's a way the person you dim your competition will be so successful at hitting your target every year that you'll choose to quit and leave them to themselves.
At the end you may just ask yourself, what's the point?
Prep for pre season every year only to fight this man and then lose.
There is age too, family and other ambitions, but this man is not leaving Liverpool for a career else where. My guy is quiting football.
This is what depression looks like.

It will shock many here that the whole Arteta agenda is based on the fact that Arteta didn't promote any academy players this season and not because he lost the league. That's what brought the whole transfer discussion.
That said though, it is shocking too that not a single name, like one name has been suggested to replace Arteta since yesterday. It only points to the obvious. |

Looking at it vividly, the whole 'Pep excuse' which is causing so much uproar here started last season and it has nothing to do with Arsenal fan. The whole thing started when Liverpool and City were competing for the league then especially that season where Liverpool had 94 points and still lost out to Pep.
I remember people saying when leagues were closed down during Covid that Liverpool wouldn't smell EPL again because of Pep. Everybody here might have mentioned Pep at one point or the other but the main fault as we believed rest with us. We were more angry at the squad for throwing away the chance to win the league contrary to the 'Pep excuse' they are forcing down our throats here.
If you ask any arsenal fan here why Arsenal lost the league to City this season, they would point at that Villa game. |
